***Star-struck, nervous chuckle***

"Ha, I don't usually hear that."

Hank was awesome. [cheers][banana][thumb2]

Good BBM- managed to miss all of the non-mbb nonsense.

Now need some offense out of Duke.

The roughing the kicker ******** is why I'd just assume LAMAR and lose by 50.

That's *exactly* what would happen if we somehow hung around with them and had a shot to win.

Louisville was favored by 35 which means they failed to cover the spread by 25, which is the equivalent of UK losing to Vanderbilt by 22.

So basically, Louisville lost to Vandy by 22, while Kentucky beat Vandy by 7.

Ha. We're 29 points better than Louisville.

Joey, did you ever email any prospective hires to me? After discussing it further with my boss, it will be an entry level position that will turn in to a lifetime gig if they can handle it for the first 6 months.
I emailed both of them.

I guess they're too content with slangin' the occasional environmental graphics to leave the architecture-adjacent game.

Why would you care?
He can't be bothered to swing by BBM when they're trying to get all the former players they can in the building and he's in town anyway, and his two UK alum teammates are both going? John F'ing Wall can make time but he can't? Can't throw some shoes on and hop in the car with Boogie and WCS? I'm betting a lot of those guys on that stage made long trips and carved out time to get there. Skal, Wall, Boogie, and WCS are all in Lexington, off work, and sitting in a hotel room.

Like I said, I don't know the whole story, and that's why I'm asking the question, so if he was seeing kids in the hospital or if he was legitimately sick or something fine, and at the end of the day it's his choice, but if it's not any real reason and he just doesn't really care to be a part of it, then that's kind of my point... Why should I care about the guy?

My guess is Skal...

a) Holds grudge against BBN for all the criticism while he was playing like **** last year.

b) Still embarrassed by his playing like **** last year.

c) Combination of A and B...

Well he got the start on Thirsday and headlines aren't good. "Falls flat". "Mind over matter for Skal". Um, no, it's a matter problem, too. They'll get it. Poor Skal was probabaly in the hot/cold tub all day, seeing his therapist, etc. Plus, he's gotta play in Rupp today. Poor kid.

I always felt legimitately bad for him. I still don't really understand that situation. Just weird.

If you're going to ***** about that, why not also ***** about the guys who couldn't take 30 seconds to record a video for the "family" thing? Most notably #1 draft picks AD and KAT. [eyeroll]

We paid Davis six-figures for his one year of service and he can't whip out his phone, record a 10 second video, and email it to Peevy?

My bad, Skal is awesome, GBB!

Sorry I opened the can of worms, no point in rehashing Skal's shortcomings in the wake of the season kicking off. I just think it was really weird that he's presumably hanging out at the hotel or something while everyone else is there.

Listen to how spoiled we've gotten.

"I can't believe (insert NBA lotto pick) didn't show up or even send a video gram for BBB. (Insert random NBA team) is in town and (insert multiple NBA lotto picks) showed up to dance and give an ispirational message to The Faithful. Shoot, even (insert NBA-All Star) flew halfway across the country just to hang out and (insert NBA future star) sent a 15 second video. (Insert former UK Legends and National Champs) showed up but (insert other former UK Legends and National Champs) couldn't? Give me a break!"

Not picking on anyone, but guys . . . you do realize what an awesome "complaint" that is to have, don't you?

Meanwhile:

Practice was conducted in dimly lit SEC West gyms after cleaning up from the football pep rally.

Places like WKU had to wait until after the volleyball game/practice.

Late Night With Roy.

And South Carolina did theirs on an army base in front of soldiers (which is actually cool but you get my point).

KAT def sucks. Him and AD
How much did we pay Michael Buffer for Madness?

Not enough. He didn't even say "let's get ready to rumble" and was visibly bored af on the sidelines.

Naturally, I blame Mitch and Mathew. Milk and Beans. GTFO.

Just be glad Buffer got all the names right. He's been known to just walk in blind and butcher intros, grab his check, hit a tootsky on the way out (allegedly!!), and leave.
