Show some respect in the sense of following their instructions. You know, little things like "freeze," "stop moving," "hands where I can see them," "or "Get out of the car."

Certainly would have helped in the Charlotte and Oklahoma shootings the last few weeks.

Damn, time to check out of this thread with all the liberal politically correct nonsense being posted by some of you idiots. Its a sad day when GYERO has come to this.

You haven't gotten blackout drunk and left racy, sexually explicit voicemails in a while. Get back to your routine, and we'll have more interesting topics to discuss.

Not respecting someone should result in their summary execution.

Brought to you by the same people behind Brandishing a firearm over a parking spot dispute

When somebody pulls out a tire iron and states that they are gonna beat your brains out, regardless of what started the incident, self defense is a priority to me.

Sorry for ruining GYERO everybody

Probably too deep a topic for many.

The “I want to fit in and act like a tough guy” attitude with some of you is pathetic, but expected. I know many on here, like some, and am liked by less….don’t care. The growing sentiment of allowing and ignoring these so called “protests” of the National Anthem and our flag, is one huge F you to the country in general, regardless of the cause. This country has a helluva lot of problems, with many being fueled by the lack of respect for humanity.

You want to bash me, go ahead. But I will stand up for those before me who raised that flag, and those that defend it today, including Boat and anyone else.

Better way of protesting the national anthem:

Hillary Clinton is a good person.

:joy: We have a blast with that one in texts and emails.

Im going to go get a New Cath yearbook and Ill guarantee WCC was voted "Most likely to become a social justice warrior and lead a protest at Starbucks."

Bringing politics into GYERO and friendships is f*$%ing dumb. Ill end up hating some guys that are friends and they will certainly end up hating me. Which is why Casey is a dumbfu$k for poking the bear.

Cool with kneeling or whatever and especially Cal allowing them to... selfishly of course. I mean he's recruiting impressionable black teenagers that don't want old white coaches controlling their actions.

So hey, BJW, pipe down and worry about #9.

Hillary Clinton is a good person.

Yeah, she is. Can't wait for 8 years. I'm with her.

I'll never understand what makes you blowhards think that this is a conservative/republican board. It's not. It's a University of Kentucky sports board.

^ you talk about it more than anyone in our main group of GYERO friends, bub. You simply can't resist any thread or conversation about it.

Know yourself.

Bingo. Of course he's not going to tell his players they can't do it (even though I'm sure he doesn't want to deal with the fallout if they do).

Anything else would be used against him in recruiting. He's not stupid.

Whatever happened to fun.?

That squirrely little hipster had some pipes on him. Unique music, too. Almost embarassed to enjoy it, but they had some real jams.

It's called Zac Brown Band.

-Nate Ruess (fun.) released a solo album...gave it a listen, but wasn't a fan of that particular project, was hoping he'd go all Peter Cetera on there but the music was kinda weird. Love his voice though.

Zac Brown is a loser.

He was actually onto a good thing -- fun, easy, poppy, guitar sing-along summer music jams with catchy hooks. The last time I heard him on the radio, it was some sort of techno mashup nonsense. I mean, what in the sam hell?

Yeah, his last album was about 60% poppy electronic ****. It's actually a good thing he's started this group because his next album is going to back to their roots of songs about fried chicken and boats. I'm stoked.

* We dishonor our veterans by providing sub-standard health care, by putting them into overly dangerous and unnecessary situations on foreign soil, by underpaying them for their services, by not adequately taking care of their families while deployed, by ignoring their population that is homeless or unemployed....

....I have a huge amount of respect for anyone who served, but you don't have the right to feign disrespect by hijacking a protest that is COMPLETELY unrelated to your service.

(sorry, bbdk, for a very unoriginal, unthoughtful, contrarian take)

You want to feel disrespected? There's a million reasons to hold that belief. Someone simply and silently protesting the general treatment of blacks or gays or whoever -- not really one of them.

* Ugh. That's enough. Anyone jerk off to some good pron lately? :grimace::grimace::grimace:
