I'm on a Boat like streak right now.

Boi Na Braza Saturday night. Cookout at my in laws on Sunday. Steak salad at Firehouse Grill with my boss last night and Jeff Ruby's tonight.

Beef.

Of course, I worked from 5am - midnight yesterday and will be at a board meeting downtown today and tomorrow so I won't/didn't get to the gym at all those days. The 20 lbs I have dropped will come back with a quickness.

Boat, any tips on where to stay in Detroit? Planning two sports trips...

9/9-9/10 for a Tigers game and a MSU game on the way home.

10/21-10-23 for a Red Wings, Michigan, and Lions game.

- Having to apply for jobs and basically decide where to actually live for the first time in my life is somewhat terrifying. Actually finally having control is nice, I guess.

Nashville, Cincy, Louisville, Lexington are all in play at this point. But weird job in that there's very few openings each year and I'm a little at the mercy of who happens to be hiring each year. Yikes. Shew. Eeek.

Also already offered a spot to stay up here, but would like to get back to an area where people actually pay attending to college sports. Miss it terribly.

Basically cold calling companies and working whatever random contacts I have. All kinds of fun. With that said l, if anyone happens to be friends with anesthesia folks in any of those cities, please do tell.

Might sneak an application into Denver and San Diego jobs just to see what happens. Wife might divorce me, though. Something to at least consider.

- Asheville is awesome. Highly recommend. And FILLED with bachelorette parties. Goodness. They loved us.

- On flight into Asheville huge storm came in so we had to divert and land in Greeneville, SC. Pilots basically told us we were betting off just getting a cab/uber, as the storms were rolling in all night.

Split an uber with two hilarious random guys, both filthy rich. Could just smell it. One was former VP/President/something of a $3 billion/year telecom/oil pipeline international giant, The Williams Company. Looked it up after the fact, but super interesting dude. Retired to Asheville and just has a few homes across the country. Nice life. And he paid for my ride. Big fan.

- Chad, if you need any last minute Boston things shoot me a message/email. PERFECT weather up here at the moment. You'll love it.

It's been a while since I've stayed downtown Detroit...but if you're gonna be doing stuff downtown, marcus stay at the Greektown casino for the Tigers game. Greektown is a blast, you'll love it. Try the saganaki, nothing like some hot flaming cheese. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Another Greektown favorite:

Right next to baseball stadium this place is always packed with talent.

Maybe try the renaissance center for the Wings game. Right there next to the Joe.

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. In all seriousness, Florida Hospital is buying everyone up in the state and now these hospitals are suddenly flush with cash.

One of the benefits to living in Jax that isn't the cheap cost of living but not really is you're pretty much expected to carry a gun and tell people about said gun in casual conversation so everyone knows that everyone else has a gun.

You can tell they're struggling to move them because there's been an absolute media blitz this week to hype them up. They probably figured there would be a damned waiting list for them, but instead UK is having to treat them like it's a Labor Day Mattress Sale.

So far one of the fancy tailgating venues has been sold for the season, a UK official confirmed, and 10 single-game rentals have been booked.

They were asking $50,000 for a trailer.o_O

The party chalets can be rented by the game at $5,000 apiece or for the season for $30,000. UK dropped the price in late July. Previously, the chalets rented for between $6,000 and $8,000 a game and $50,000 for the season.

Assume UKAA thought local corporations (Lexmark, Big *** Fans, Bryant, etc) would be knocking each other down for those single wides. Guess everyone assumed taking clients to those things would be a pretty awful sales pitch.

I'm sure I'll grab some free food/drink from a party at one sooner than later, as will most.

Per UK: At $1,500.00 per game, fans can now rent one of the 3 available seats on this historical pickup truck's actual tailgate. Not only can this prestigious "tailgate" be had for only $1,500.00, but your gameday experience includes 9 corn dogs, 3 bags of Grippos, 12 Cheaps, 3 cans of Keystone Light, a Moon Pie, half a bag of Cotton Candy, and 7 Marlboro Reds.

Can all you diehards STFU for at least a month so us casuals can get excited about college football? Is that too much to ask- that you shut your miserable whiny ***** mouths for a four weeks so We The Casual alumni can talk a little CFB without it deteriorating into a 3-page fuss-off every day on here? TIA...and get pumped.

Would you rather go back to pages and pages of people doing everything short of posting their PVA card to brag about how much their house is worth?
