Went to a wedding reception last night at Ice House. Pretty nice venue for a wedding. Good food, and open bar. I'll be feeling like a bag of ******** for at least another 24 hours.

GoT finale tonight, fresh crafties in the fridge, burger from 'Corn's on the belly...

Agree with dK re: walking golf in this heat. Hell even 18 in a cart in this sun wears you out.

I've been weighing before and after runs and taking into account fluid intake past few weeks to make sure I stay properly hydrated since I don't want a repeat of Rio. Been losing around 12-13 pounds of fluid each run.

Damn, lb. Do you take any kind of salt tablet like a S!Tab when you run to help with salt, potassium, and magnesium replenishment? If you're dropping that much fluid, you've got to be losing some valuable nutrients as well.

That's gross weight loss, not net. Typically come back weighing 3-4 pounds less, meaning I drink a gallon or so (8 pounds) during the run.

That's weak, BBdk gains(allegedly) 13-15lbs of "water weight" on a weekend bender.

Do it all the time. Was up 13.1 lbs when we got back from The Memorial on Sunday evening -- and was back to pre-trip weight by Wednesday. Sloot never believed me, but it's absolutely true.

-Why would Messi not be good at PK? Seems like a layup for someone of his skill...he get too cute with it or what?

Got to be mental. He's arguably the best free kick specialist in the world, and we saw that against the US, but put him on the penalty spot 12 yards out, and he just clams up. At one point last season, he had missed 6 of his last 12 penalty shots. WTF?

Amidst the Ronaldo bashing, that no look, heel (or whatever) kick he had vs. Hungary was filthy. o_O

I've enjoyed Copa. Still can't really get into the Euro stuff, even though that's much bigger. Be different if there was ANYTHING else going on...but aside from Golf Majors, this time of the year is awful for sports. Pretty perfectly timed for soccer, really. #Gambol

-That's pretty weird and not something the "greatest of all time" would want on his record. No way he skips WC though.

-Italian drip beef last night WAF.

-I almost added "get a puppy" to my post about Chad's progression. Damnit.

I agree, especially considering how awful the Reds are. But hey- at least it's gross and sweaty and swampy and steamy hot!

Here's Blue. He's a hoss. Pretty chill for a pup. Born out in the sticks in @CoolCat45's hometown of Berry.

At what point, with all of the ignored calls along with the ones I answer and explain that I am not interested in renewing my season tickets, will UK ticket office just move on?

I mean I've given multiple reason- mostly financial, for not renewing... Do I just have to finally yell into the phone some type of insult about the program?

That was a pretty whiny comment for Messi to make but heat of the moment and all I get it. He was just upset.

Learning to stop doing something over and over that's consistently not working isn't historically a strong suit of the Kentucky Football program.

Just tell them you are a Bama fan now

Messi was stupid for saying that last night especially after that PK

Argentina has been pretty meh to Messi since he left as a kid. He would probably much rather have played for Spain if he could do it all over again.

It's not just that he doesn't really like playing for Argentina- he doesn't really like Argentina.

Turning the football team into a bunch of cold calling, call center employees, for multiple months, is pretty embarrassing, even by Kentucky football standards.

2am rager after a wedding Saturday night. Went to some undeservedly pretentious Ed Hardy-fueled club. Friend of a friend "got us in," bottle service ("hey bros, nobody buy drinks, there's a bottle of grey goose and some ice over there!"), VIP (it was elevated from the regular people section by two stairs worth of height). Upside was lots and lots of hoes...but sch at the pomp and circumstance of it all.

Coming up next on Sportscenter.....,Dennis Leary!!! (has this dude been relevant in the past decade??)

Sooo.....Game of Thrones. I'm sure Hank hated it, but holy ever loving mf'ing sheeeeit. Amazing episode.

Great leaders are always looking for creative ways to recognize their employees. An email blast, a recognition ceremony, a personal note, etc. Me? I just want to be circled by my co-workers as they shout in unison "THE KING IN THE NORTH! THE KING IN THE NORTH!"

They have to be throwing their swords (literal swords, not their wieners) in the air while they do it though.

Dennis Leary- man, that song "*******" was pretty cool freshman year of college. When he comes on the XM comedy channels now it's pretty cringeworthy though.

Always enjoy the bashing of VIP. Private rooms with seats and your own cocktail waitress > being in a space with sweating people, lines for drinks and nowhere to sit. I will gladly throw the group some cash to make that happen in an overcrowded bar situation. Now this is just my experiences in Lexington bars where a typical VIP night will run you $150-$200 and fit 10-12 people. Seems like we usually know the person that has a room at Skybar which is the only bar around that truly has "rooms" that separate you from the bar.

I also probably spend way too much money going out.
