When a horse comes into the Preakness with a Derby, an undefeated record, and four other Grade 1 wins under his belt, he's going to be hyped. Not because of hyperbole but because he earned it.

Pretty basic, really.

And even with those accolades he was picked apart.

All you weatherballs get out and enjoy today. Shew. Should be a great week as well.

GYERO Dad is doing his son a disservice by not encouraging guitar playing.

One of the ugliest dudes in my graduating class in HS could shred on a guitar and he always was nailing the best looking chicks so there is something to this advice.

Hey thanks Captain Weather.

Had a nice round at Greenbrier today with my brother in law. Yes, we kept score and even added it up. He shot 76 and was kind of mad at himself. I had a smooth 107. Amazing the difference a few bad shots can make. Gorgeous day, enjoyed some collides. Progress.

Definetly a better guitar player than golfer at the moment. Coolcat is dead on. Was really fun playing with a few bands.

One week till Destin.

My younger brother is an amazing guitarist. Not an ugly dude but when we went to parties and people asked him to play, it would be all the women sitting around him.

An instrument also takes a great deal of time that kids like me used to light things on fire or countless other stupid things concocted from sheer boredom.

When did you play with bands? Did they know you were playing with them?

Arizona, Michigan, and if you can remember when I lived about 50 yards from you, I had a party room with two mics, a PA system and guitar amps set up.

Guess it depends what you consider a band. We had a name, had a set list, and played in front of people.

drxman probably has a recording studio in the room adjacent to his private executive home gymnasium multipurpose workout training facility.

Spoiler alert = cock and balls 5 minutes into tonight's GOT.

Hold on just a mf'ing second. You're telling me Golden State is down almost FORTY points? WTF?

Most productive thing I did all day was walk 2 blocks to get lunch. Worthless, lazy *** Sunday.

Princess Bride outdoor screening was a success. Probably 1,000 people there, maybe more. Note: "never get involved in a land war in Asia." The battle of wits is absolutely the highlight of the movie.

Had Ethiopian for dinner last night. Strong recommendation. Little nod to my boys Black Mike and Euge.

Had a great time at the Commonwealth tour. Thumbs up to UK for taking the time to show off the facilities a bit and engage with the fans.

Veep was cracking me up last night. Very solid episode.

Made the mistake of watching "Dirty Grandpa" this weekend. I mean, I set the bar pretty low to begin with...but that's got to be in the running for worst movie ever made. I guess DeNiro just gives no f#cks these days.

Zoey Deutsch tho...shew

We were gonna be "the bourbon boys," but found out that name had already been taken...Seth and I came up with "Broseph."

:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Things were going great, then Bob getting married pretty much killed the band.
Jimmy quit, Bob got married
Should have known a steak would have been a better idea

-Like I said last week, Green is awful. He's the worst kind of douche, he acts all nice and genuine, then he's a scumbag on the court. At least own it like the old school bruisers did.

-Props to OKC, I'll roll with them. Westbrook is annoying but KD is awesome.

-Long week ahead. First heat wave + work weekend and Memorial Day. I'll be ready to let loose next weekend.

-Reds game, other than the absolute **** product on the field, it was a blast. Vendor hooked up some awesome seats in the Champions Club. Had a little outdoor suite type thing with a hightop bar and a few seats so the 2 little dudes could actually roam and not be a menace to the other fans. Those two had a blast. They were all over the place. Regret we don't get together with the bellydancers as much as we used to.

-Those 2 second shots by Rory yesterday. :scream: He's taken a firm back seat the last year or so but silly how good he is.

-Watched SNL Saturday and didn't crack a smile. Typically not that guy but it's in rough territory right now. I though the Bin Laden song was dumb, Sandberg has played that character to death, it was funny in 2006 as "Dick in a Box." Same **** for 10 years.

Draymond denies he intentionally kicked Adams: "I'm sure he wants to have kids one day, I'm not trying to end that on the basketball court."

His reaction tells the story. If you didn't mean to do it you don't look around to see if you got caught. Suspended Jones, so go ahead the sit his dumb ***.

The problem with SNL is that they really don't seem to be developing anything new. Saturday's episode included a ton of old cast members as if the new ones suck so much that they cannot be trusted. They have run the Larry David Bernie Sanders in the ground.

All of their live stuff is awful. Only their preproduced stuff is worthy of a laugh

Sturgill mania is slightly out of control, I feel like. Dude is great, but he marcus welby Prince around here. Almost feel like half the people are worshipping b/c it's the cool thing to do (not talking about GYERO peeps), especially on SturgillBook.

It does beg the question, how long before he isn't cool anymore? Sure is getting popular!

I don't really watch SNL anymore, but haven't these complaints been essentially the same for the last 30 years or so?
Yeah, and that's why I was never really that guy. I thought it was still pretty solid even 3-4 years ago and the Bernie stuff started out great, probably because LD wrote it, but it's been unwatchable lately. After the Sudekis/Hader/Armisen/Meyers group left it hasn't been good.

Also, I'm assuming everyone was back because it was the finale and Armisen was on.

SNL has been iffy for years. They act like Kristen Wiig should be on SNL Mt. Rushmore, but her sketches were routinely awful. I think the acting/sketch talent is still good, but the writing needs help.
