Wodie... My buddies down in Charleston & Hilton Head hit up
The Heritage every year. They say it's a blast.. Essentially one giant 4 day party on the island and yes, bc of the tightness of the track you can get really close.

You should go.

-So Tim Miles, coach at Nebraska, tweeted "Tubby rents" this morning. Pretty Harbaugh-esque of him to call out a fellow coach, especially one as widely-respected and accomplished as Tubby, and ESPECIALLY coming from Tim Freaking Miles, who hasn't accomplished much in Lincoln. Miles used to come across as a pretty likeable guy, but this just makes him look like a d-bag.

-The Jordan Brand Classic has really snuck up on us. Didn't even realize it was tonight until I noticed it on the DVR. Will always remember it for being the night when D. Lamb Eat committed to UK. As disappointing as the Nike Summit game was, hopefully this will make up for it.

-Joella's today for the first time. Not getting the freaking chicken salad.

-What's with women(and some men) taking their dogs EVERYWHERE? I mean taking them inside the grocery, inside Lowe's, inside my kids' school, etc. I get taking your dog with you while running errands, but you don't need to take them INSIDE these places when they can safely be left in your vehicle this time of year. Ridiculous. And no, these aren't service dogs.

-They've having a team trivia contest tonight in Versailles. Just found out about it, or else I would've tried to get a group together to compete. Wonder which group of 4 GYERO's would comprise the best trivia team.

First time in Louisville since #hookers happened. Not sure how you all don't just look at people with UL gear on just say, "hookers" nonchalantly. Guy at the gym earlier had a 2013 champ shirt on and it took a lot to not drop one of those on him.

Also pretty disappointed about how many people are on gear everywhere at gyms. I was assuming it was so prevalent where I live because no one there has a moral compass whatsoever but as soon as I walk in this morning I see two chicks obviously using as well as 3 older guys. Nothing wrong with TRT at all but that wasn't this. Shaking my head at shortcuts, pansies.

'The Basketball Tournament' is a pretty awesome thing/idea, imo. Prize is 2 Million this year.

#2 in the state - Social Studies written exam 8th grade *wink and gun*

Had a lot of math questions in the quick recall, so we made an early exit. A shocking collapse to say the least

GEL Louisville died way too prematurely. All it takes is 2 weeks in a row with no play and then dudes move on. Knew that would happen when Wodie went on vacation & then the nail in the coffin was when he called it off the following the Monday.

A shame, really. We had some good run there.

Or, when 60% of the OMG I'M DEFINITELY IN never showed up a single time...

Some manager under Tubby is the head coach at Georgetown College. If he does well there I'm sure he can parlay that into a better gig.

My dorm roommate my freshmen year at CofC tried to convince me to be a student manager with him. We met with one of the assistants under John Kresse, who was an outstanding mid major coach & very well respected. He went on to do it and I went on to pledge a fraternity.

He's now a mid major asst making good coin on an upward trajectory towards maybe being a head coach one day and I originate mortgage loans for a living.

LIFE.

Still plenty of room for investors in Country Club if you want to escape the crushing drudgery of your real life. Thinking about making the logo a Confederate flag, only with Vineyard Vines pastels for colors. Thoughts?

In BellyDancer's hands, talk to him about it...if he'll respond to you.

Seems to be drowning in his new gig, dunno.

Edit: Think I'll see him tonight, actually. Little shindig on the Captain's Quarters wall for TurboK's 40th (lolololol, wow) Bday.

I've been on a plane 2 of the 5 Sundays we've had GEL Lexington, and out of town twice. I still have plans to show up, assuming we keep it up But, when I get to choose between golf on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings, asking for Sunday night out is always a dicey proposition.

I guess I'm saying the GEL is better suited for the winter months of drudgery and darkness, when I'm not using fun credits (MARRIAGE!!!) on the weekends.

New girl works in politics and comes from a political family in Nebraska. Great girl, extremely driven...and the first girl I've dated that is taller than me, somehow.

Also, shutdown Spearmint Rhino with me last night. Keeper?

There is a giant Confederate flag on a barn between Cincy and Columbus.

There is a house in a fairly nice neighborhood that I drive past on the way to work every day that used to have one hanging proudly. Somebody tore it down so they responded with confederate flags all the way around the house (hanging from the gutters). Not only did that look like ****, but somebody then spray painted RACIST in giant letters on their garage door.

********. They aren't just between your cheeks. They're everywhere.

Sounds good, but I'm guessing NO.

Hate to pull rank on the trivia stuff but here goes:

8th grade (lived in New Orleans)- qualified for a national academic tourney in Georgia, took 5th place in "Mr. President" (a quick recall game about our American presidents) and 8th place in "Strange Bedfellows" (a quick recall on world and American political history). Sidenote: first-time I got drunk

Elizabethtown H.S. senior year 1989
1st place 17th district individual Social Studies
1st place 5th Region individual Social Studies
4th Place State individual Social Studies ( a lot of economics questions on this test, not a focus on history)
Sidenote 1989 state tournament - drunk again AND finger-banged girl from Lawrenceburg.

Elizabethtown Comm. College
Freshman 1989-90
Team invited to Junior college tournament in Cleveland State College, Cleveland, TN
24 schools, and was named to 4-member All-Tournament team Sidenote: not drinking this time but closed the deal on a girl from Georgia.
