All kidding aside I'm kinda surprised there's no skylift on the Purple People Bridge probably one in the works though

The Purple People Bridge used to have an integrated attraction that topped all of your suggestions, imo.

The hype video was amazing as well.

^ I work with a couple people know that worked for him at Target in Lexington. Even the Target CEO flew in a few weeks ago just to thank him for all of his work at Target through his career.

I worked for him for a while. Truly amazing guy.. He used to work in the morning from like 6-12 during December madness, go to a UK game at 2, be back at the store from 5 until close and do it again the next day.

He was still working up until about the middle of February. Fought for over two years. I really can't say enough good things about him.

UK/UofL on a weeknight sounds like some ******** by Pitino to get that game off the big national CBS Saturday slot so less people as the annual smackdown.

Still no scuttlebutt?

If you really are pulling in 6 figures bartending and your girl makes upwards $1k a day parasailing and you are even contemplating moving then you both are dumbasses and deserve to be miserable in the real world.
, too many working parts to explain here. She doesn't parasail anymore and she worked for a different parasail company and she did that full time. During the winter, parasail sucks weather wise and half the time you don't work at all. So it's amazing in the summer, but definitely evens out in the winter. Plus, she worked for a different company than I did and her highs were like $600.

I bartend full time and parasail a couple/three days a week in the summer and once a week in the winter. Pick up days at either whenever.

I know it sounds "too good to be true" but I wouldn't have believed it either. Don't really care if anyone does or not. I can't trade W2s with anyone though because mine show I made $30K last year.

Don't worry though guys, I'll be sure to let you know which decision I choose to touch up my life within the coming month or so.:cool2:

Orlando Magic 30 for 30 was well done. Too bad they didn't focus a little on the story at the time that Micheal was back and took over the east so Shaq ran.

They did focus on the big 120M contract over 7 years vs Orlando offering 80M upfront for 4 years. All I can say is you don't have to be PTI to understand the better deal here.

Rumors of #scuttlebutt and a five star recruit choosing between Duke and Kentucky tomorrow with potentially the top overall class and preseason #1 on the line and here we are listening to rogue pretend to be awesome and getting insights into the economic ups and downs of the parasailing industry.

Here's an idea, why don't you and your smoking hot dime girlfriend take your W-2s and your constant humble-bragging and both of you walk into the ocean and just keep walking until glub glub glub and we don't have to read your posts anymore? There's a life choice. Let us know how it works out for you from the bottom of whatever deep sea trench you guys set up shop in. Good luck!

Checked with my one legitimate basketball source and as of 11 last night Bolden has not told either staff of any plans to commit. UK is confident but he's far from a lock...honestly would be surprised if he picked tonight(generally they let the coaching staff's know a couple days in advance). There's only been a couple occasions where the staff didn't know leading up to the announcement.

Early Friday randoms:

*My vinyl should come today of Simpson's new one.

*Better Call Saul is getting really good just in time for the end of the season. Just like Breaking Bad.

*So, the scuttlebutt is both some bad for little brother and Bolden for us? I have been disconnected so much lately.

*18 holes today. Last three times out have been 80, 80, 79. Making progress after winter lessons.

Wodie, are you mizunos in play yet? The 25s are sweet.

I need a new driver before I get new irons. Still playing a 7-8 year old TM Burner. I am starting to lose distance, even though it's been really good to me for a long time. New technology just advances so quickly. I'm probably leaving 15-20 yards out there by keeping it in the bag.

*Margo Price...write that name down. Great voice, but an eve better lyricist. Raw and real.

*trip to Knoxville in two weeks. Seeing Prine for the seventh time. Any restaurant recs? Using Airbnb and our place is 1 mile from the Tennessee theater.

*Re: Keeneland...give me spring over fall by a nose. After a miserable KY winter, it's like nectar.

*rogue, stay put man. I would anyway, but I'm also speaking from a perspective of married/committed/responsibilities/etc.

What you have sounds like a dream.

allegedly they think this is a way fewer "corporate" seats at Yum will give their slots to UK fans/customers, and make this more of a true home game

Picked them up yesterday, only took 4 biz days which is pretty quick for a custom fit -- just another area Mizuno excels. Golf HQ was having their annual tent sale, so scooped a new bag & gap wedge as well. Plan to play Sat & Sun, nothing gets you in the mood to play like some new sticks. :golf:

Interested in Drivers, but there are so damn many I honestly have no clue. Plus, as soon as you buy one a better one comes out...still, if you're more than 3-4 years behind these days I feel like you are at a disadvantage, although it may be small. I really don't keep up with clubs anymore, but seems like Drivers are like computers/phones these days in that regard...

-Better Call Saul is just outstanding. I thought it was probably a 'reach' when the series began, and really didn't think I'd like it...couldn't have been more wrong. Gilligan is the man. Of course, if you haven't seen BB it's worthless...but I love learning the backstories of that show and all the characters.

-How's the Heritage (HHI) from a fan experience? Went when I was really young, but that's pretty much a blur. Seems like it would be a great event, especially if you love Hilton Head....make a little vacation out of hit and break it up with a day or two of PGA Golf.

Was thinking Sea Pines would be a nightmare from a congestion/traffic standpoint, (it pretty much already is on a weekend) but read that last year they changed it to where you shuttle in, with no visitor parking inside -- which seems like a no-brainer. Free bicycle parking as well, which would be the way to go imo.

Considering I've been smashing a 10 year old club, excited about the prospects of a new custom fit Driver as well.:bomb:

Alright Tommy, lets hear about your new "IN A RELATIONSHIP."

Between being a lobbyist in Nebraska or bartender/parasailer, what are the rest of us doing....

A friend goes nearly every year to the Heritage. He enjoys. Says because the course is so tight and honestly kinda small, you can bump into a bunch of the players. Always has a few autographs on a flag when he returns.

Completely disagree on not being able to enjoy BCS if you haven't seen BB. I loved season 1. Have seen BB now.

Wife got hit by a semi on the interstate this morning on her way to work. She walked away. Cop told her she should buy a lottery ticket. The truck pushed her car half a mile down the road after he clipped her quarter panel and spun her around in front of him. She had to crawl out the passenger side because the grill of the truck was resting on the driver door. Nice start to the day.

Now would be a good time to drop a post if there are any IRS employed lurkers.

-Plenty of Officers of the Court around here, all of whom are all bound by oath to report anything illegal. Reporting $30K, only showing 10% of your income? Wow.

-Damn, Mattox. Glad she's OK.

Speaking of wrecks, Stoops was on Leach this morning hyping the spring game. The attendance will probably be pretty embarrassing. I can't imagine there's much enthusiasm left for this staff at this point. They'll need to win some games right out of the gate this fall to get back some of that good will from a few years ago. Getting crushed at Florida and Alabama in the first month of the season won't help their cause.

Did anybody with season tickets request a ticket for the surplus sell tomorrow? Apparently that gets you in the door 1.5 hours early. Just looking for an extra to get in a tad early and actually have a shot at finding a medium sized shirt before it's ransacked. Apparently you can take 2 people with you per ticket or if you weren't using it and wanted to share that would be cool too.

I think you only take in one extra person, I'm going with my mom's boyfriend and she said she was going to have to just wait outside.
