Holder from "The Killing" is in it, too. Guy is so cool.

Love the music they've been using in those trailers, too.

"Dr. Strange", on the other hand.....NOPE.

Queso Fundido con chorizo. Or sometimes chicken or shrimp. (depending on mood), extra tortillas.

This is correct. But the best queso fundidio is in a restaurant in BF Mexico and you are somewhat in fear for your life.

There is a Captain thread on the Main Board and it's like you guys are blatantly ripping off their takes including this one. Crazy.
It's not like this is a groundbreaking observation. Combining "cool old music" with "bad guys being good guys" was the hook for "GoftheG" and its trailers. "Suicide Squad" is copying that recipe and it's smart to do so.

If you guys hadn't read this, Larry Vaught did a piece this week on a guy I knew pretty well. Cancer really sucks.

We were able to send him to the SEC tournament to enjoy with his family! He was a great guy. We have had folks take us for a ride doing these things but he was one of the best. As a matter if fact, I had almost given up. We had some teachers do damage to the Marriott room we got for them and their children. I had told myself I was done. Then he came along and restored my willingness in the future.

Then order the fundido sometime, not sure there is a better cheese overload dish in the world. Think Fajitas, only about a 2" layer of bubbly/stretchy cheese in the skillet instead, with veggies/meat if you choose.

Just make sure it's not very often and that you have nothing else planned for the evening.

Not really. It's the Chips & Margaritas that make you feel like **** at American/Mexican places though, TS.

Your average Margarita "special" at your friendly neighborhood place probably packs 1000 Cals, impossible not to order one (or 3) though.

I tried queso fundido once and I couldn't figure out how to eat it. The cheese was filled with grease and it was all stuck together and wouldn't go in to the tortilla very easy. Not very fundido.

Umm, that's how it's supposed to be, it's not cheese/queso dip. "Stuck together" [laughing] ...you mean, MELTED?

Sounds like you suck at eating.

Make sure you order your French Onion soup or Pizza next time without cheese, likely to run into the same "issues" of the cheese being all stuck together. [eyeroll]

Is there such a thing as "healthy" Mexican cuisine? I feel like a fat every time I hit up one of those places.

Nope. Best I can do when I try to eat healthy at a Mexican place is if they have a decent ceviche and maybe an order of black beans/rice. That's about it. Then I just kick myself later for not eating something that actually tasted good.

There is this place in Mexico City where I've been a couple of time where you get Queso fundido tortillas and various salsa. I could eat my weight in it.

Anyone who thinks Superman is too "boring" of a character to do right in a movie just needs to look at how Marvel has handled Captain America. He's as whitebread as it gets, but Marvel has crushed it with him.
I'm not really a comic book character movie guy. I liked the Batmans that Bale did (didn't see the last one) and I have not seen any of the Marvel movies.

However, I grew up on the Christopher Reeve Superman movies, had them all on VHS and would watch them repeatedly as a kid. My mom said I used to sing the theme song in my sleep...so I did catch Superman Returns and the newest one and it baffles me how poorly both were executed, complete garbage.

That looks a lot like cheese with sausage in it, tbh. Likely found on the kids menu. Grow up.

If you combined the thematic quality of Superman Returns with the action quality of Man of Steel and not have the plot being Lex doing something crazy so he can own property, you would have the perfect Superman movie. That simple.

When we were in Chicago last month we dined at Mercatido in River North.. A ceviche and tapas style joint.

Ordered the fundido con chorizo for an app. First time I've ever had fundido. Stuff was amazing. Also had some pork shank taquiza dish that was bonks.

What does Ben Mendelsohn do in Batman? I'm sure it's awesome.

Rented his breakout Australian movie 'Animal Kingdom' for an upcoming flight, anyone seen?

When I am in "healthy" mode and dine in a Mexican junt, I usually get some sort of grilled shrimp, scallops and veggies meal.

My go to orders are the Cozumel Camerones, hold the nacho sass and the Arroz con Mariscos, hold the sour cream.

-Bristol you got mail.

-Mexican can be kinda healthy. Fajitas, if you go easy on the cheese and use Greek yogurt rather than sour cream is fine. I rarely use tortillas or stick with corn. We'll use romaine as taco shells for shrimp or chicken fajitas. Nothing wrong with some fajitas and black beans. Don't think it's really Mexican, but they've adopted it, ceviche is very healthy in most cases.

-Perfect day for a visit to Windy Corner. Shew, what a treat. Sat out on the patio, crushed an ale 8, watched the horses.

-This weather, man. [banana]:cool2::sunglasses:
