Hawkins will get more minutes than Matthews next year, and I think ol' Charlie will be good. I just think Dom will go out strong. You can insert him into any game and any situation and he will give positive contributions, regardless of how long he's been on the bench. He's always ready to go.
An oversight by me...damn our backcourt d will be filthy.

This may be unpopular and I say this as someone who loves Hawkins (Kentucky kid who has achieved the dream of everyone in this thread) but...

...what does he provide that Briscoe doesn't already do but better?

They are both D first guys who don't get rattled and neither can shoot a lick. The difference is that Briscoe is 4 to 5 inches taller, about 25 pounds heavier, and is an elite player.

Again, I love Hawkins but if Briscoe returns I don't see any way the kid gets any more than spot minutes next year.

Well, Hawkins is a role player so redundancy doesn't matter that much. I think he's a decent shooter, at least a threat. Briscoe isn't 4-5" taller. More like 2-3".

Occasionally, a fourth guard is necessary, especially on a team that will play a 3-guard offense quite a bit.

Oh, I absolutely agree and I love Hawkins. I just don't think his role will increase any in his senior year. He to this point has always been a tough guy who is capable of playing on the biggest stage but is a very limited player.

I don't think that will change and I think that what attributes he provides will mostly be provided by Briscoe in the regular rotation.

I think Cal trusts him a lot. Injuries hurt his minutes this year. Never hurts to have a steady hand who is a damn good defender when you'll be starting two freshmen guards.

Donnie Tyndall gets a 10 year show-cause, and Southern Miss receives a litany of penalties over the next 3-5 years that will effectively blast the program to the precambrian era......

......but nah, we cool with the **** that went down at UNC.

I'm having trouble caring about Noel trashing a rental home. It's not awesome, but it's not the worst thing he could do. Pay for the damage. Move on with life. Kind of dumb if he did do all that damage not to just pay it and stay out of the news though.

If he did it...certainly doesn't seem like him. Probably more of a case of him not stopping others around him from doing it, which is still not good & he should know better. I'm a 'wait and see' kinda guy.

Seemed like one of the better/nicer people to pass through here for 6 months imo

I don't know. Lachlan and Howie instantly retweeted it. From all the talk about waiting for the facts and withholding judgment from the Louisville media over the last year I can't see a scenario where they'd jump the gun on something like this.

If those pics are the worst of it, then it looks pretty normal for a college aged renter after a few years, especially one who may be having some parties. And WAY WAY WAY better than Frank and Charlie's place in IASIP. Sounds like some Rob-like landlords trying to rip Nerlens off. Landlords are pretty much scum when it comes to giving back deposits, and inflating any and all "damages". Philly. Pshhhhhhhh.

My wife's gift for uncovering the life story of every cabbie and Uber/Lyft driver we encounter is still going strong in Austin. She is like best friends with these people after 10 minutes on the road.

Honestly, I prefer cabs simply because I don't feel pressured to talk to them more than the destination. Had multiple Lyft drivers ask me to ride in the front. Ummmmmmm . . . . no?

I kind of like the new lyft feature that lets you put in the destination, obviating the need for any conversation.

That's the danger of the one and done, you haven't mastered the art of shoddy construction that can pass an end of lease walk through. By junior year you should have become a master of the strategically placed wall art, minor drywall work, and can replace spindles on a banister drunk off your ***. Maybe a deck cam loose and it's held in place by zip ties, there's enough shattered glass stuck in the garbage disposal that everyone KNOWS NEVER TO TURN IT ON, and that the air return under the stairs was converted into a well lit mini grow room, by gawd that deposit finds away back into your account. There's a pony keg from Daddy Low Bucks with your name on it and that stuff costs money.

Obviously a failure to develop, FAR CAL.

Love the kid Bryson. You have to make a few allowances in golf sometimes...kid is a class act, golf historian/nut, and just overall likable even with his stupid Payne hat & terrible name.

His setup looks wack AF, but that one-plane swing is :fire::fire::fire:, and the setup is a necessary evil of that.

Be interested to see if that + his same-length set catches on...pretty genius imo, amazing he's the first to ever really do it.

The Scotch-Canuck in-laws are here.

There are seven adults and two toddlers for dinner tonight. Guess the *****-*** pizza order.

Two large DOMINO'S pizzas.

Chick-Fil-A follow-up for dad pending. Pretty pumped. Looking forward to making a production of it, really.

I firmly believe that anchovies as a topping was invented solely so a man could have at least half a pizza to his own damn self.

*****, it's got fish on it! Leave it be!

We're in America. Unless one of them is playing bagpipes and wearing a Maple Leafs jersey and a kilt and the other can trace their lineage back to William Wallace then Scotch-Canuck is called "white."

Anyone who spends their own money on Dominos or Pizza Hut is a loser.

There isn't a town in America where there isn't a better option. Period. :100points:
