Please explain situation to those of us who have no idea what you're talking about. TIA.

Group text with a few white players and one black player. Threats of lynching, multiple racist comments by one kid over fundraising dollars. LexCath made him apologize and that was it. Mother leaked it to the media and now it's a total shitshow.

Do teenagers today even understand what lynching actually is? Racism certainly isn't dead, but we're a helluva long way from 50-60 years ago, especially with the youngest generation. These kids weren't born yet or do not have memories of the 1990's much less the 1960's. I doubt the kid actually had a real understanding of what he was saying to the other kid.

And you think the kid should be expelled from school because of this?

Skal signing autographs Monday, by himself, in Simpsonville charging $25 bucks a pop. I'm not a Skal hater, but he might want to think about bringing a book or something. Nobody is going for that.

Haven't people in administrative positions been fired for less?

IDGAS. I know its probably a sick joke between Hs football kids. It's bullying, it's nasty, but it probably ain't what it seems....most likely, but man, we don't tolerate anything remotely close to racism. A painting depicting slaves in a field spawned a CITY WIDE TOWN HALL MEETING ABOUT EQUALITY and dominated local news for weeks. This? Mehhhh, not a big deal. Just harassment.

The hypocrisy is hilarious.

Exactly. He was just talking **** to his buddy and neither one of them really understood the significance of it. They were probably hanging out the next day. Older generations trying to apply standards from 20, 30, or 50 years ago to the exchange as opposed to looking at it from the perspective of two dumbass teenage boys in 2016.

Assuming we don't get Bolden and Briscoe stays, which seems to be the likely possibility...I like my team.

Gabriel/Willis are both probably better suited to be college 4's anyway, and Bam can man the 5 no problem. I've been in on Humphries since early on, an offseason in the weight room to turn some of that baby fat to muscle and improve his quickness, our fans are sleeping on his upside. I expect nothing from Wynyard until I see different. SKJ will be a nice combo 4/5, he seems to be more ready than people thought.

Fox/Briscoe/Monk will be an awesome interchangeable backcourt and a defensive nightmare. Toss in Matthews and you have yourself a damn good rotation. I have to believe that Matthews and Briscoe come back with better shooting next year, they can't be worse...neither has a completely busted form.

Duke has the most talent but as we witnessed last year juggling 10 guys that need minutes is a challenge, not to mention K is notorious for a short bench and 7 man rotation...good problem to have but that story will be interesting next year, someone ain't going to be happy with their clock.

The thing about it is, teenagers say stupid crap like this today thinking it's funny without having any real idea how offensive they're being. They get most of their "material" from roasts and comedians ripping on other ethnic groups. It's cool! It's funny!

I was talking to wife last night about stuff that I say at work that if taken out of context or if heard by someone that does not understand the dynamic could get me in trouble. I mean I know what I say is wrong but it does not offend who is say it to and they throw it back at me. But I do need to probably be careful.

And then they go off to college and whine and cry for "safe zones" because they don't like hearing the views of others.

Anyone ever get an update about a gaffot removing his jacket to reveal a UNC shirt while sitting at a bar in Kentucky watching his team have their hearts ripped out on a last second bomb that gave the title to Villanova and all they have to look forward to now is how badly, if at all, the NCAA rips their heart out again for the long overdue sanctions from cheating for the last 2+ decades?

Any scuttlebutt on this? TIA!

"They" being an extreme minority. I think it's a good thing overall that young kids are more tolerant to other races, lifestyles, creeds, etc. The PC extremists are a small, small portion.

GYERO viewers, please try to realize that the Lee being referred to is probably the same Lee that actually played for Louisville this past season. Thank you and stop being dumbasses or wcc will lynch yo ***.

Unless, of course, they are talking about Marcus Lee who had UL as a finalist and would fit the time frame.

Would be nice to see JB have a relevant moment this weekend. The way he bombs it, you would think that he would like Augusta.

Marcus Pee had a final three of UK, UofL, and Cal. Reasonable to think he took an official visit during the Caligula timeframe.

Like the dumbass Dartmouth sorority that chose to have their Kentucky Derby themed party changed because some deemed it offensive/racist?

It's more prevalent than you're willing to admit, IMO.

Young kids seem to be tolerant of races and lifestyles, but when a large contingent of students are flipping out at Emory College, Michigan (they called the police), and KU for scrawling "Trump 2016" in chalk on sidewalks, they're not so tolerant.

If you could only pick one massive annihilation of a program, lose of title(s), probation, fired coaches and basically 5+ years of misery, would you rather it be UL or UNC? I would much rather see UNC get theirs but the smart money says this is much more possible for UL and UNC gets off easy.

Id go UL because it would wipe away Pitino's 2nd title and basically mean UL wasted over a decade with that POS without a championship.

UNC with 3 titles seems particularly sweet.

They are the only program behind us that I feel has the consistency to potentially catch or pass us in total titles. I can't see Duke staying at the same level after K leaves and IU [jumpingsmile]. UNC in the same class, title wise, as UL, KU, MSU, and UConn sounds fine with me
