http://www.wdrb.com/story/31657999/...ns-recruiting-restrictions-on-mens-basketball

Reducing the number of scholarships available to men’s basketball, one in the 2017-18 season and one in 2018-19. Reducing the number of recruiting visits Louisville coach Rick Pitino and his staff may take by a quarter, including keeping the staff off the road for the entire month of April. And reducing the number of official visits the program may host by two.

The source said that these are not the result of additional violations found within the program, but as part of the university’s ongoing effort to take actions in keeping with its understanding of the NCAA’s penalty process.

shew weee, from 13 to 12 for 2 years, starting the season after next? No recruiting visits in April when most HS kids I imagine are on spring break anyway?

put away that bull whip & pot of boiling oil, this torture is inhumane and a crime against humanity!!

This NCAA absolutely cannot or will not take bring down a championship banner is pretty stupid, imo. If there is good enough reason(s) this shouldn't be some ironclad rule. Maybe it's just the fans who think it is but i don't see it that way. If the crime is bad enough, then take that MF'er down. Hope the NCAA is in agreement and there just hasn't been THAT case that warranted one coming down. Maybe one of the 2 rivals cases going on now is THAT case, i wont count on it, but im hopeful one does.

What, it isn't a big secret that he spends every April down in his $10M mansion in Miami every year, ergo this isnt any kind of penalty in any way? Shocker.

Need an answer from Gyero Law. How did Eric C Conn get so rich representing Social Secutity and disability cases? Who pays him?

Can't tell if you're serious but he gets a cut of the people's SS income that he gets on disability.
I'm serious. It seems that his clients really don't have money to pay him. I thought it was the government but was not sure how it worked.

And Cal has Ulis' parents recruiting for us through this press conference. Brilliant.

I think those disability lawyers get rich on the 'back pay.' By the time they're involved, someone has been denied benefits once or twice. If you DID happen to have the right doctors and/or judges you could involve, you could make up to $6K per awardee. That really adds up if you're clicking through several of those at a time.

If you're looking for some comedy do a Facebook search on Eric Conn. Quite a few complaints from people who even that huckster couldn't get on disability. Apparently you have to give him your credit card number up front too.

Karl is another year of consistency from getting "Who do you take to start your franchise?" love. Just crushing it. On that note WCS has quietly had a nice second half of the season. Be interesting to see how the Kings completely screw him up.

Next year it's back to the arms race for college basketball. Duke, UK, Kansas, and Michigan St. will have the absurd NBA talent; Villanova returns a lot, IU hinges on the return of Bryant/Williams, and UL...
well UL went and hired whores to strip and have sex with recruits. So despite having a team talented enough to contend they don't even get to participate in the conversation until a ruling is made on their shenanigans. Dumbasses.

Just renewed my season tickets for football. *crickets* I checked the box for optional upgrade, I'm guessing that's not going to be an issue.

Is there any scuttlebutt about season ticket renewal numbers? Deadline is a week away, have to imagine they are taking a hit.
