Never watched one second of a team stream, can't imagine I ever would.

Very glad Nova will be fresh for Monday. Would hate to have seen a long dogfight and have UNC benefit like Duke did last year.

UNC's 2005 title happened after they excaped a ******** phantom travel call on Nova in the final seconds of the East Regional final, which could have resulted in a Nova and-one, quite possibly, win.

I love their young guys though. Lydon attempts a dunk like that every game...Malachi :fire:, Hughes is a huge lead guard, in the mold of many past ones, like Adrian Autry.

Chef has to stay out of foul trouble, and they can't match UNC's depth up front...but UNC can't match Nova's depth in the back court either. Nova has a great mix of Vets, Young guys, and middle guys...some real warriors on that team. They've straight WHIPPED everyone they've played...shot horrible vs. KU, and still beat them pretty handily minus one late run.
Everyone else they've smoked, in record fashion. They've broken all sorts of records in terms of offense & FG%...and they are the best defensive team in the tournament so far as well. I just love their overall mix and makeup.
They may lose, but UNC can't coast by them without playing great, that's for sure.

Poor f'ing Roy Williams. Just awful he's having to answer questions about academic fraud that started before he got there and never stopped. Life is just so daggum unfair.

To not get punished is enough for everyone to leave the NCAA organization and start over. I'd be all for it if they do not punish decades of cheating,
Nova is a wonderful team, but you are right, just overmatched.
Same could be said in reverse. NOBODY matches up well with UNC is you're just looking at frontcourt depth..nobody.
Hasn't stopped them from losing 6 games to teams that aren't as good as Villanova is right now...UNC will be favored by 3 or so, but it's not like some Cinderella matchup. Chad thought WE matched up good with UNC...lol. If we did, then Nova does, and even moreso considering they have an All American wing, 5 other guards, and a LEGIT post man.

The schools that have been nailed to the cross don't carry enough weight to bring on that kind of movement. And it would probably have to come from CFB anyway. I just don't see that happening anytime soon.
- Cuse is done. Not all that upset to see them getting rolled like this especially after getting their hopes up sky high.
