Fox seems like the type who would be an absolutely lethal combination with Ulis.

Sorry guys. I'm just a little down. One of our biggest historical rivals is going to win the title. Just don't feel that optimistic right now. Next year sets up more like 2015 where there are going to be 4 or so teams that can win the title. We will be one but still.

Don't give up yet. If OU and UNC meet for the title, and if OU is on their A game, they'll win it. To beat UNC right now you need multiple scorers, and OU fits that bill better than any other team in the tournament. Plus, it''s likely to be a home game atmosphere for OU. UNC will not bring fans to Houston like we would.

Villanova and Oklahoma could beat North Carolina straight up. I actually think 'Nova matches up better than Oklahoma does. Also, you never know with that Syracuse zone. They miss a couple 3s and then that zone can start constricting on the favorite. We know that as well as anyone.

Syracuse zone has been causing certain people problems forever...

...but hearing about how tough it is gets kinda annoying. That same zone started 0-4 in the ACC, and lost 5 of their last 6 heading into the Tournament, and was legitimately in danger of being left out, most argue they should have been.

Yes, the ACC teams are more familiar...but all the teams that have sent Jimmy packing early for 35 of the last 40 years weren't.

Their zone is Overrated, only really gets highlighted the RARE times they actually do something substantial. The Joe Lee Dunn of defenses, if you will.

UNC is going to crush them.

Got a buddy(from college) that is obsessed with Revolutionary War reenactment. Dude posts daily on authentic clothing that he makes from hand. Can't decide if it's really weird or kind of cool. He's all in 100% though.

UNC has to be cold from outside and you gotta be able to score. I don's see Cuse doing that. I do see OU or Nova doing it. I'm going with Buddy. Anytime you have a guy that can go for 30+ any night it's a problem.

It's definitely weird. Especially if he's posting that often.
He's a dorky kind of guy already but it's a strange obsession. He hand stitches the trousers, jackets, makes the buttons himself, shirts, everything. Pretty damn good at it.

I find it more respectful that the hens selling nerium and IT WORKS!!

Boeheim credited Cuse's press, not the zone, for the comeback last night. It threw Virginia out of rhythm and once they got behind, they clearly shat themselves against the zone. Pack line defense and slow offense is great and all when you're winning 30 games in the regular season, but when you are down 6-8 points at the under-4 in the tournament, good luck. They shat down their legs, plain and simple. I don't see UNC doing the same.

Would LOVE to be wrong, though.

It was definitely the reason. UVA **** their pants when they were sped up. Plus, Malachi went off.

They were carving up that zone in the half-court.

I'm just hoping, bro.

He sounds incredibly depressed.
Nah, One of the genuinely nicest dudes on the planet. He mixes in a lot of family pictures.. Some normal food pictures. Then a picture of bone covered authentic 1770 buttons. Or pictures of him in a field with 20 other dudes reenacting a battle.

I actually like the guy but I agree it's pretty weird. Yet for some reason I always take a second to look at his stuff. For reference he grew up and lives in the DC area. Trying to find a couple decent pictures without his face.

Syracuse has some good ballplayers. Gbinije and Richardson are studs. Richardson is the typical long do-it-all Syracuse forward. Cooney can get hot. Lydon does some stuff.

SAE would dress up as an authentic 1950-60's UK fan. Probably got a little stiff when Oscar RT this.

So, I guess Monk is the early leader to be the freshman who most annoys GYERO next season? He probably has the most upside as a college baller- they just don't make many freak athlete SGs these days. But something tells me his shooting stroke and shot selection will enrage us early on.

Thoughts?

Monk so selfish on fast break opportunities his lack of giving it up to wide open teammates ahead of him make Murray blush

He grew up in SEC West territory, so I'd say this is a lock.

I like Lydon a lot, he's going to be really good. Crazy athletic w/ an attitude...and can shoot the lights out.

Not often 'Cuse has a white boy manning the 4, but he'll be the man at that spot until he leaves.

-I made that exact take a few months ago about Monk, and Chad jumped my ****. smh. But yes, I believe that will be the case, and have said so all along.

Jerry Meyer's Bolden update sounds positive:

“(Kentucky has) been on me a lot. It’s the same way with Duke,” Bolden said. “I’ve been talking to Jayson (Tatum) and Frank (Jackson) a lot. And I’ve been talking to Bam (Adebayo), (De’Aaron) Fox, Malik (Monk), it’s just the whole group, everybody.”

Bolden said Fox was recruiting him the hardest.

“Because we never really got the opportunity to play like that,” Bolden said. “Us both coming from Texas, we always played against each other. We never really got the chance to just play with each other like we’ve always wanted to. That’s pretty much why he’s been on it.”

So what’s Fox’s pitch?

“For us to just come in and play,” Bolden said, “You know how Cal plays his freshman, he’s just looking for us to come in and be ready to play.”
