So North Carolina is getting a complete free ride to the championship. They've got others doing all their work for them, but they get all the credit in the end.

Guess that's a familiar feeling.

-UNC / ND game is like Iran and Iraq going to war. Someone will have to win and that's a damn shame they both can't lose.

-Don't ask about my crappy late night grammar, it should be the thought that counts.

-UNC by 15? I've jacked my whole bracket so I'll be wrong about this one too.

I don't think UNC is going to be thrilled to be seeing Syracuse to be honest. Beating a good team three times in one season is no easy task. Plus UNC's shooting should come back down to earth from that thrashing they gave IU. Virginia may be the better team, but Syracuse may present a tougher scenario/matchup for UNC given the situation.

Going to be awesome seeing half of the final 4 embroiled in academic fraud issues.

You've made your bed NCAA, now lie in it.

I've had several huge cats fans I know that went to Houston swear they would not go this year even if we had made it. It was that big of a cluster touch.

I would have been one of those. ****** stadium out in the middle of nowhere with absolutely nothing around it except a couple chain hotels, and a commute from the downtown area that will make you want to commit self harm. Hard to imagine a worse venue.

Don't forget that the Final Four is in Houston, which gave us the shittiest final three games in tourney history in 2011.

I was there. Insanely cavernous for a basketball venue. I had what I thought were great seats in the Loge (no Jaimathony), and I was twice as far away from the court than the worst seat at Rupp. Brutal.

Was in Houston on the sidelines about 3/4 of the way to the top of the lower level. Needed binoculars to follow the action. The worst seat at Rupp had better sight lines. Still, would go back if we are there in the F4.

That arena is huge. So wide you can fit the AstroDome in it without ticking the sides. It feels way wider than even Cowboy Stadium. However, that Final Four is why the NCAA spent a ton of money building temporary seating for the courtside lowers. So now at least it's respectable. NCAA should've refunded all the tickets to that F4. Some people spent a lot of money on seats you couldn't even see the court. Plus the teams couldn't shoot.

Anybody know if Steve Smith is aware of the fact there is no 5-second rule if the offensive player is dribbling the ball?

When I looked out the windows on the second level and saw I was as high up as the top of the Astrodome, I just stood there shaking my head. 8th Wonder, and those sorts of things.
