Well, at least they did get t-shirts this year.

UNC will have to beat two teams back to back that they've already played twice before this season to make the championship game. They're 1-1 against Notre Dame, 2-0 against Syracuse, and 1-1 against Virginia. That's a tough ask in the tournament.

UNC can lose any of those games and IDGAF as long as they continue to put the beat down on this bs ***** *** IU squad and their fearless son kissing leader. Eff IU

They just beat UNC by 30 and Syracuse sucks. Virginia is the only issue.

It doesn't happen often but the egg laid by a higher seeded team that beats UK is predictable dating back the Sutton era. Hope some of you made big money.

North Carrylina is headed toward 100 pts in a sweet 16 game. I'm not gonna waste my time to look it up but I'm gonna guess it's been a while since that feat was accomplished. UNLV? Loyola? Us?

North Carolina would have beaten the everloving **** out of us too. This has nothing to do with IU "laying an egg" after beating UK and everything to do with the fact that North Carolina is a much better basketball team.

UNC was one of the teams that I didn't want to see in our bracket. I'm afraid they would have destroyed us. Regardless I'm glad to see them put the smack down on IU and Tommy Crean. Eff them and eff Huckleburry

Touch you, Wisky.

Maybe if Bo Ryan had been busier "renting" players than renting bedroom partners, he would have left a good enough roster to win that game.

Toucher.

Let me rephrase it as getting beat handily. And yes we would have also.

Congrats IU on another sweet 16 participation trophy reaching the very top of your programs potential. Hang a banner and enjoy a coke.

So IU fan is gonna crow about beating us this year I'm sure and yet their amazing season still ends in a Sweet 16 flameout. Ring, banner, tshirt worthy I'm sure. Grats to them.

-Well IU fans don't believe they deserve Crean and that he has "saved" their program, so I guess even they feel the S16 is their ceiling. Go coach Pitt cawksucker.

-There is an 18th century galleon in town today and we're going to go check that out. That and lunch should be a fun little random Sat. afternoon activity.

-Been taking New Mood from Onnit Nutrition, they're sleep and relaxation supplement. It definitely has helped me sleep through the night better and have a couple interesting lucid dreams but it's a lot more expensive than melatonin.

-Heading back to KY in mid April, the gal's bday present for me. Stoked to hit up Keeneland and see the gang.

That whole thread is like going back in time to the last half of Tubby's tenure here.
That's scary and Jimbo is pretty much wildcat1973. Dude is dead on the money and I'm one of those apologists applauding a 10 loss season and S16 as a good year. Yikes.

I guess a Nova championship would put water on the fire of the OMGACCOMG narrative . . . but I doubt it. Regardless, there are a ton of outlying reasons to cheer for the other Wildcats.

I like my team?

I had the exact same thought. He's correct in his assessment, but he keeps beating the rest of the posters over the head with it to the point that they're ready to kill the messenger.

I was in the zone in those days. Steph Curry shooting and running down the court before the balls goes in the basket...chewing on my mouthpiece.

I defended Tubby not out of loyalty but because I didn't think we would get anyone better. I guess his mediocrity seemed like our ceiling at that point and maybe he could find some of that 03-05 magic. Good thing we hired Coach Clyde to save us.

Was on the Eliptical and Uconn women were coming on...figured I'd give them a look b/c they are so silly. Pulled up the 31pt spread, but was too scared to bet that...I mean, they were playing a 28 win, 15th ranked SEC team.

Was 19-2, and had covered by the end of the 1stQ. 62-12 at halftime, on their way to a 60 point win. [laughing]

Women's hoops sucks of course, but I've long been fascinated with Geno and that program. It's absolutely ridiculous. Breanna Stewart doesn't even touch rim on her shots...what a program.

Pretty cool for us mountain folk that Lincoln Memorial will be playing for the D2 title on CBS today. At least half of my friends went to LMU, including my wife, sister, best friend, etc.

Should be a crazy entertaining game as LMU averages 97ppg and Augustana averages over 90 as well.

So you can apparently get in the door tonight @ Yum for KU/Nova for $15? LOL.

Tempted to go down there, but I'm pretty much over UK losing at this point, taking part in that atmosphere downtown and watching someone punch their ticket probably isn't a good idea for my mood, which is surprisingly fine at this point. I've accepted we weren't going to beat UNC, never mind 3 more tough games after that.

Anyone else going down there?
