"Good afternoon, GYERO wife- c'mon in. Don't mind the camera, we're just filming an instructional video today. Tell me a little bit about yourself, then go ahead and lay down on the massage table..."

Looks like someone bought Lynn's Paradise Cafe. Hope they preserve it- there are a lot of times when i'm in town and want to drop $79 on a mediocre breakfast surrounded by weirdos.

"Hey GYERO Wife, looks like the next group is a few holes behind, want to hop in my golf cart, maybe drive into the woods behind the par-3 and give me head?"

If you could filter Bumble and Tinder through those VR contraptions, procreation by the human race would cease before 2020.

When is the last time UNC made the championship and lost? I do not remember a time in my life that it happened.

Ulis is a projected early 2nd round pick, but I can't help myself from assuming if he is there when San Antonio picks late 1st round that they will take him. Fits like a glove there IMO, and transitions from Parker perfectly.

Late on the favorite player but it's a toss up for me between Mashburn and Sheperd. The sacrifice Sheperd made in that '97 season and then being a huge part of our '98 run out him on another level for me.

I'll never forget the "T" he got on a dunk in Fayetteville at the height of our rivalry with Arky. I let a "F that S" fly in front of the whole family including granny, and when everyone looked at her and she laughed I never felt so relieved! So I got to give credit to Shep for that.

At the end of the day, the only people that will be getting real life pussay are the poors that cannot afford VR. The ripple down effect to society cannot accurately be measured.

Oh, and the Amish.

Want to know how weak this year's draft is? Take a look at Ford's Top 10 right:

1. Ben Simmons, LSU
2. Brandon Ingram, Duke
3. Dragan Bender (Croatia)
4. Henry Ellenson, Marquette
5. Kris Dunn, Providence
6. Jaylen Brown, Cal
7. Jakob Poeltl, Utah
8. Jamal Murray, Kentucky
9. Buddy Hield, Oklahoma
10. Furkan Korkmaz, (Turkey)

Four honks. And yes, I'm counting a Turkish dude as a honk.

Actually, Ford/Felton just did a Mock Draft simulation this morning, and have Washington 4* Freshman Marquese Chriss going #6. o_O

Skal HAS to go, right? He's less ready than anyone could ever possibly be, but the risk he could get exposed in year #2 and face a loaded class -- no brainer for him, imo.

Ford currently has Murray #4, Skal #15 and Ulis #20.

I think Valentine is undervalued at #14.

It's like players are punished for staying in college 4 years.

They're punished for staying 4 years in college because they're 22-23 at that point, Denzel Valentine is only 6 months younger than Anthony Davis.

-That was, indeed, 80. Cool segment.

-Watched 4-5 Cal games this year. If I didn't know which one was SUPPOSED to be the "presumptive lotto pick" on that Cal team, I wouldn't have picked Brown. I didn't see anything from him that screamed NBA contributor. At least with Skal you saw glimpses. Didn't see that with Brown(in an admittedly small sample size).

-I know it's women's basketball and WHO CARES but UK is probably having a hard time drumming up ticket sales for the regional down at Rupp Arena. Tomorrow night's game is on Good Friday, the start of Spring Break, and up against some colossal men's matchups. Regional final is being played on Easter Sunday. Nope and nope.

College performance, or European leagues, is the single best predictor of future NBA performance. This should make sense. The NBA has the best players in the world so dominating lower level leagues would be expected for NBA prospects.

However, as we all know, drafting players is not nearly as easy as selecting the best college players. There are innumerable factors that can influence the translation from college to the NBA. Combine measurements, such as wing span, can help in making a choice as well as closer scrutiny of college performance. For example, a player who gets a higher percentage of his shots at the rim while in college is more likely to make it in the NBA than his counterpart who may rely more on mid range jump shots, assuming equal profiles in other categories.

In the case of Brown, I'd be hesitant in picking him. He wasn't a very good college player.

Unless my daughter is playing, I won't ever watch more than 5 minutes of women's basketball. Ever. Well, I might watch the national championship game if they make it that far, until they're down 30 at halftime to uconn.

Good stuff. Until your post, I had thought high school basketball and AAU performance was the best indicator of NBA success. Glad you cleared that up for everyone.

I make my picks based on:
1. Are they gritty?
2. Are they scrappy?
