He isn't leaving Arizona for Pitt Adrian. Jesus. That's Anth level terrible[eyeroll]

Didn't think he was, and said as much.

Go climb a ladder. God I wish you were a fireman or LG&E associate. Probably would be if daddy hadn't handed you a business. Actually, you'd probably be living in one of the Section 8's that you sell/rent.

-Thought the same thing when I saw "State Championship Game", then saw a concrete wall within 2' of the rim.

...and he will.

Even better, he straight MOCKED (for weeks) my preseason opinion that a FULL TIME Ulis/Booker backcourt "would have been my favorite of all time" at UK (and it would have, zero doubt about that now)

He called it "really cute."

LOL. Yep, would have been pretty terrible to watch indeed, definitely not even possible for that to be one UK fan's opinion. [laughing]

Wall & Bledsoe, Knight & Lamb disagree, and those kinds of things. Those guys are great, but Ulis/Booker would have been my favorite, and it wouldn't even be close.

Ulis is my all time favorite Wildcat. It's official at this point. MKG, Epps, Davender, Edwards, Mash, Delk, Ford, and a few others are right behind, and I appreciate anyone'e personal opinion on their own "favorite", but that's just where I stand at this point. #worship.

He may have been drunk talking, but Chad joined me in this sentiment on Saturday, "Ulis is my all time favorite Wildcat", he said.

-How about my boy Allen Edwards, btw? Wyoming? Wow, taking over for Larry Shyatt. That's a pretty dope 1st HC job, tbh. Especially for a guy who's had ZERO buzz as an "up and coming assistant". Good for him.

-Learn ISIL jokes, Joey.
Learn "aiding global terrorism" by using the archaic name they prefer for their proposed caliphate and helping to further its acceptance in the global consciousness.

One of the few things Europe does better than the US is refer to them as Daesh.

Did you really think I couldn't pick up on the intent of a terrible dad-joke reference that would kill at any Hoots in suburban U.S. of A.? Get real.

I read the Washington Post, pal. Ever heard of it?

Grow up.

I've always been weird about my "favorites" in that they aren't necessarily always the "best". Mash is the exception, Delk too. Hell, I guess Ulis fits in there as well, as I feel like he's in the convo as the best PG of all time. Certainly would be if he stayed around.

If Ulis stayed 4 years he'd be up there with Issel, Mash, and Davis as the best to ever play here.

Think he probably still will be in 20 years when all of us old guys are looking back when so-and-so is manning the point for UK. We will be telling our kids and grandkids (or some of you will be) about how damn good this kid was, despite all his limitations. No doubt about it.

Man, thinking about it now, the Cal era sure has made it hard to get a top 5 favorite cats list. So many likeable, awesome players...or, this sucks I wish we would recruit four year guys and coach them up, FUNDAMENTALS!

Mags keeps spouting off about 4 of our 5 recruits being number 1 at their position. Someone is going to have to explain that to me. Unless he isn't counting an injured Giles.

Lol, that's the dude who committed the next day or whatever after this **** broke, right?

Not sure. Just figured this will be the beginning of recruits/players "parting ways" with UofL before next season. They better get that preseason KenPom championship t-shirt printed up before anyone else jumps ship and we pass them in the ratings.

Mash was awesome and really the first UK player I idolized. To this day still my favorite player in any sport ever, right ahead of Eric Davis.

Eh, that dude was a stretch for them anyway and yeah its t's the dude that committed on the day the news broke. Lol. King signed a LOI so if he wants out it's going to be because Pitino is gone. That's the only recruit they have coming in.

Never saw any of Pitino's teams here, since I was 3 at the oldest when he was around. The only non-Cal era players in my favorites list are Prince and Hayes.

<---I'd also like to take credit for wanting a Ulis/Booker back court if we're all looking for props.

Yep, it was Geese & I. Anth wanted to say it too, but he had Murray's dong in his mouth and couldn't quite get out what he wanted to say... and missed his opportunity imo.

I love Jamal, btw. :sunglasses:

Just saying the top college basketballs were wayyyy ahead of the FAV backcourt ever take had Booker stayed. BBdK rightfully jumped on board instantly, as he knows a good CBB take when he sees it. No **** Big10Willy & other mouth-breathers would have 'not hated' a Ulis/Booker backcourt. Good stuff. And of course Anth is at his best always playing it safe and then jumping in well after the fact like he co-authored it. AND I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THAT. /dorothyboyd

Anyway, as Booker's 2nd half explosion in PHX has proven, it would have been a beautiful thing to witness had those 2 paired up. If you were voting for ROY after the first 30 games, that kid would be right behind Towns in the voting. TS.

No, I was actually making fun of you two. As Willy and I pointed out, we all would've loved Booker back. Not really a bold take there boys. Way to really expose yourself on that one. Glad your self promotion worked.

...and yeah. I was completely right on Jamal. Even though both you were haters. So, get real.

Last I saw Allen Edwards he was driving like a bat out of hell in a beat up piece of **** Camry with 5,000 dents all over it, weaving in and out of traffic on Frederica Street in Owensboro, coming thisclose to sideswiping me.

Saw who it was, and tipped my cap to him. No middle finger for Allen Edwards.

[laughing] Gotta give Anth credit here, he did nail that preseason Top 5 pick Jamal Murray would be a stud. I had my doubts early on but was proven wrong.

Kid is batting well over .500 on his UK player predictions. Not too hard, really, but I like his strategy of backing UK guys 100000% no matter what. Works out in the long run more often than not. He missed on Skal & Lee, but ended up right on Murray and Andrew Harrison (kinda)....and of course all the other 1st round picks.

Have to admire his unique UK PLAYERS ARE THE BEST I LOVE CATS take on any/everything UK though, we need fans like that -- it's what makes Kentucky fans so special, those Tony Joe Wildcats.

--Yes, ABH said Ulis "would struggle" this year in his new role, and when he had a few bad games early, he was ALL IN on backing his take as hard as he could. Took him until about 3 weeks ago when he started winning every award/honor available to him to finally let go of it. Of course, ABH is the worst. [sick]

Not everyone though Murray would be top 10 or lotto and you compared him to a HARRISON. TS.

I'll gladly admit I was wrong on Skal. What did I say about Marcus Lee that was wrong? Don't recall that one.

I was the only one that wanted Davis and MKG back. You fools didn't think they would be the best tandem ever. Way out in fron there. Give me my likes.

Also caught this on the telly last night during the women's game vs Oklahoma.

I thought Harmon's UK Hoops fandom was more or less kind of a running joke that was initially blown out of proportion (like a lot of **** in GYERO) but apparently I was mistaken.

Dude is unreal. Only time he actually cheers is behind UC's bench or at #UKHOOPS, where he's paid for floor seats @ Memorial for several years running. Unreal & awful. It's *very* real, trust me.

Um, he has owned floor seats for like 8 years. Asked me to go at least 100 times. Went to the WSECT a few times. It's legit. He's the Heavy Hitter of #UKHOOPS.

You couldn't pay me to sit through a UKHOOPS game. TS.

We had to move our workout from Monday to Wednesday to accommodate that damned game.
