Can't get mad at the writers making predictions. There are gonna be a ton of upsets, so they gotta pick somebody to lose. Straight chalk is weak. We were pretty bad on the road. Thank god we were pretty good at neutral locations.
When was the last time UK caught a break in the bracket? Not talking a 5 over a 4 or getting underseeded #3 ND last year instead of over-seeded KU.
Only one I can remember was getting #12 Cornell 45 minutes from their campus in the late game, in yet another year the committee screwed us with placements.
That's why UNC and IU are locks to win their games. Only way UNC loses in R2 is if IU beats us.

The race angle is kind of weird. Yes, it was only every black player but I'm not sure what that means. He kind of alluded to that as well but then went on to say it's how they feel they need to entertain you black males.

The viewing model of The Olympics is being applied to the NCAA tournament. For some reason, someone has sold the NCAA on the idea that people won't watch unless there is some stupid human interest angle, a rivalry, or something else to hook the viewer on as opposed to embracing why the NCAA tournament is such a great part of our sporting culture. It was an organic sporting event that created it's own moments without the meddlesome hand of some reject from the sports administration bureaucracy.

Well the last four times we've been entered into this particular tournament we have at least made the semifinals. It isn't that much of a smart fan pick to choose the team that always makes it.
Except in cases sounding like neighbor or weigh.
Just listened to that John Barr interview. He was pretty upfront. If he didn't have the info he was straight with Deener. But the info he does have he seemed pretty damn confident in it.
