Ulis is the only player that I would wait in line for during his autograph tour.

Davis...nah
MKG...that's ok
Wall...no thanks
Cousins...a little scary

Ulis...man crush

Briscoe's line today was very impressive.

Yep --- just steady the whole game (and really the last 20min yesterday). Busted the zone a few times when we needed a basket. Played pretty good defense.

It's GD infuriating that Briscoe proves game-in and game-out that you don't have to fill-it-up to make a difference in the game, but Poythress and Lee openly avoid the message.

TAMU just played an entire game with 3-4 defenders extended outside the 3pt line, and neither Poy or Lee wanted anything to do with a 1-on-1 match-up with Davis in the paint.

That Willis 3 tho

Big onions straight outta Bullitt Co

-I know our bigs can be absolute walking vaginas at times but the refs let Davis bull his way around the paint all game. He must have pushed Poythress and Lee out of the way countless times. It was ridiculous.

Lunardi's updated bracket has us with a very favorable set of matchups. UVA as our 1, Oklahoma 2, us 3. Also has us playing Seton Hall/Cincinnati in the second round and potentially Notre Dame in the sweet 16. Buddy Hield vs Blue Arrow would be primetime TV. And to prove an earlier point about our offense vs. defense, KenPom has us a the number 1 AdjO and number 70 AdjD.

Just a great Sunday:

- Wife working
- Early trip to gym
- Pup for a long walk
- Windows open
- Cats crush
- Point God
- Spatchcock a chicken on the Weber
- more NCAA bball and Selection Sunday on in the background.
- Louisville will not be selected

Only thing missing is a frosty on the porch but I'm on call tonight. I'll take it though. #blessed

I mean with all of the stipulations for conference, travel, "home" games and such, it's stupid to even project the actual bracket because one difference will lead to a cascade of inaccuracies.

But, I guess if you only have ONE TOUCHING JOB to do all gd year long, you make due.

Eye of the Storm..

-Buzz and O mentioned Des Moines as a possibility, but I believe it was Legal I'm agreeing with in saying this could be the year they ship us out west. I say that every year of course, so..

/smelling fingers.

Lunardi usually gets almost all the teams correct, but his actual bracket is laughably inaccurate.

I'm concerned that the Selection Committee will look at our 3-2 (edit for TAMU win today) record vs. RPI Top 50 and drop us to a 4-seed (or even lower). By keeping USCjr and Vandy out, they'll signal that they undervalue the SEC.

I am drunk as ****. Got to watch it with my Dad at the beach. He turned 72 this week and I know this won't last forever so I am soaking this one in.

Thanks for being the most intelligent UK fans on the planet. It's great to have a place to read quality takes.
:grimace: - My old mans about the same age and you just put it in perspective.

Listening to the Matt Jones podcast with Sean Farnham. Geez, Mags. Take a breath and let the dude finish his thoughts/stories.
I just listened to this. I'm a big fan of Matt's, but it was pretty fun to hear Farnham subtly hand his *** to him repeatedly as Sean tries to get to his point (as Matt interrupts him with incorrect guesses).

I'm not sure why, but several 2-seeds and 3-seeds worry me much more than the 1-seeds this year...;)

I can't even imagine being the #1 and drawing a team like UK as the #4.

As long as Tyler and Murray are healthy I don't give a **** who we play. If we get anything out of Skal and Lee we are going to the FF.

GYERO Selection Sunday redass is some of the best GYERO redass there is.

Don't disappoint.

Just like the 2010-11 team, can't shake the feeling that we're going to be the team that every commentator says, "What the touch?" after our bracket is announced. Something bullish like the 4-seed in the West Region, playing 2nd/3rd round games in Spokane.

I don't even really know what's favorable this year. After the ones and a couple of the twos, it's pretty similar down to the 5s or even 6s. Just give us a name and let's roll it out there. Louisville please, that's about it.

One of my co-workers is a big Grazonga fan and as soon as they beat St. Mary's, I texted him "4 seed Kentucky vs. 13 seed Grazonga in Spokane".

But whatever. If we get screwed, let it be. I'd love a Florida-style draw or a Florida-style bracket that breaks open instead of pure chalk, but it isn't happening. These SOBs have to beat Tyler Ulis and Jamal Murray. I feel sorrier for them than us. Whole f'n thing. Better hurry.

Oregon a one seed over Michigan St.??? Welp, it didn't take long for the committee to screw up.

Also, why would you put Kansas in the South going to Louisville and then Virginia in the Midwest? Wouldn't they both be closer by switching? (I'm not as sure on that one but it definitely seems that way.)
