Now that Downton Abbey is over (STILL HAVEN'T WATCHED NO SPOILERS PLZ) my wife and I pretty much watch sports together and that's it.

It's a good system. It works.

You could add a simple caveat like, "Let the buyer beware: this was said last year, and the year before that, and the one before that, dating back to the Carter administration."

I'd prefer another one but the lass forbids a TV in our bedroom (rolleyes) and frankly we have only one living room.

I tend to think homes have gotten a little carried away with each space having 60" units collecting dust, so it's fine.

Two TV household. Zero TV's in bedrooms. We do have a third TV collecting dust in the basement that's not even plugged in though. I get it out for the NCAA Tournament and that's basically the only time it's used. It's a holdover from furnishing two households.

In a long line of my top SEC tournament games, I always go back to this one to put above the rest. Just a roller coaster for a fan. In hindsight, I ended up liking a lot of those Ark guys, and always liked going head to head with their fans. Also take notice of skinny Antoine Walker.

I agree. I'm all for returning to a simpler disconnected time. So no TVs in the bedroom. Plus it sets an example when I refuse to let my kids have TVs in their rooms.

Makes us feel extra smug as we stay up on our iPads, too.

-TV above fireplace. Guilty. No other place to hang it with my setup. Please ignore me, joey. That would be fabulous.

-All of our 3 TV's get play. Pretty consistently.

-Lil Anth and his sister got some air time on during that 95 Ark game with faces painted. I've went back and tried to find it a few time but not successfully. My uncle had the VHS but it's long gone by this point. Would like to have that, though.

-Same here. TV over the fireplace. My house has two fireplaces, one in the kitchen and one in the living room. TV is over the fireplace in the living room. Only spot for it because the previous owner put a huge built in cabinet from the fireplace to the wall for tchotchkes and storage.

Get pumped.

-Work has me tense as hell. I really could beat the **** out of the marketing team.

Murray not on the Jerry West top SG award list. [roll]

He's been a top 10 PLAYER this year and he's not a top 6 SG? SCH.

My living room TV is over the fireplace. There is nowhere else in there to put one because of windows, shelving, etc. Whoever built the house during the Hoover administration should've had more foresight imo.

My primary TV is in the basement, although the children are slowly attempting to usurp it from me. I also refuse to watch my stories on a phone or iPad or whatever because I am not a child.

Been toying with the idea of re-doing an old 1920s era house. I guess the first thing to consider is "place for TV, non-over the fireplace edition".

SAE is right, everyone with a TV over their fireplace just get a 28 in tube TV and put it on a 2 ft x 2 ft table in the corner.

What if you have a bitchin' TV over the fireplace but it's only for displaying high-res digital art pieces, and then you have the tube TV in the corner so the feng shui works good? Is that ideal? For smugness and feng shui?

IDIOT PUT THE TV OVER THR FIREPLACE! LETS GO HUNNY!

Oh, that is our art television. It's just for art. You must not have an art TV. *smug*
