Oscars were decent, whatever. Found it pretty funny that Chris Rock used the no blacks controversy and the rampant white guilt as a means to raise $65k from the audience for . . . The Girl Scouts of America? What has to be one the whitest, and well funded groups in the country. That's just high level trolling.

Who's the resident start-up business expert? Dennis? Would greatly appreciate some free GYERO advice on something I'm looking at to see if I'm getting a **** offer or not.

If you are talking about actually starting your own business, I'd look to guys like 80P or 73. If you are joining a start up and are asking about a pay package, I may be able to answer something.

Monday Takes:

- Just get us healthy and to a neutral court. I don't even know what to make of Saturday's loss. I'm almost at "who gives a ****?" Our team isn't our team without Willis. He's our X factor. I'm not a big Poythress defender, but Jesus Christ, he got some tough whistles and could never get into the game. And then Ulis goes 5-20 and 0-7 from three, playing his worst game of the year. We probably lose to a desperate Vandy squad in that bandbox anyway. They're a bad matchup and should be a Top 15 team. F it and move on.

- Murray, tho. Wow- what a player.

- Love how you can't watch a minute of a Duke game without mentions of Jefferson's injury (especially considering he's probably not coming back), but it's ignored that UK was without Willis and has been dealing with injuries for the last two months.

- Lunardi's latest has us UP TO A 3-seed! Ha. Which would be awesome. Of course, the same bracket has 1-seed Kansas, 2-seed Michigan State and 4-seed Duke. WTF?

- For once, can the Wildcats just get a nice bracket? Can we just see everything fall apart in front of us and not have to do ALL the dirty work? Please.

- Anyway- no rest for the weary. Tomorrow night is going to be a *****, too. Hope we get some good news on 35. Even if he struggles, his mere presence helps the offense.

- Damnedest year of college basketball I've ever seen. I like absolutely NO ONE. Not a single team. I HATE most of the Top 10- don't trust any of them for ****. I still see UNC getting all the media love as the champs. OK- what am I missing? Kansas? That team has choke written all over them. Oklahoma? Yeah, right. Duke? Pleez. Maybe Michigan State. I guess they would be my pick at this point.

- I still watch "Girls" and I don't know why. I hate all the characters. I find everything about Lena Dunham repulsive.

- Looking forward to finally catching "Apollo" as it comes out OD this week.

- Who gives a **** about the Oscars? I have never understood that.

The latter. The two guys I'm talking to have an established business and want to create and a new e-commerce business. Don't want to clog GYERO but more or less is this a **** offer or seems like it's in the right direction.

Same. I wasn't even remotely mad...wasn't vs. A&M either. Don't have quite the emotional connection with this team...it's not b/c I don't like them. Probably a hangover from last year, and the fact I KNOW we just aren't really that good.

The good news, again, is nobody else either...and I still think we have just as good of a shot as most teams to make a nice run. Gonna be a fun tournament no matter what.

-This season has just been effed. If you're winning at GAMBOL, you're just lucky. It's been damn near impossible...on pace for my first losing cbb season that I can remember. Still time though, crushed the tourney last year...need another one of those runs.

Creed was good, but they got it right with the supporting actor. Rylance was really good in Bridge of Spies, and that move was better as well. For an awards show with such lack of diversity- there sure were a lot of different nationalities represented among the winners.

Left my phone at home today. What a sick feeling. Missing the group text and I dont really know what to do with myself.

Watched a guy go around on my rental car after i returned it this morning, and measured like a dozen little scrapes or chips with his little ruler... just days after the same guy did the "walk through inspection" with me and assured me those would be no issue. "They arent even close to a concern for us, haha." They'll "call me if any of these little pre-existing scrapes are going to be an issue."

-Rode up to Long Run Country Club and hit a few nuggets yesterday afternoon. Started off shaky, but was hitting it purer than a driven snow towards the end of my range sesh. Can't wait til I can start taking ShitBag's money again in some golf gambol :100points:.
Get pumped, QueerySlice. I'm gonna get back to the U Club this week to pound rocks. Those free Tacqueria Ramirez burritos are going to taste good all spring :eek:kay:

Touch boy.

Get Willis healthy and i will take my chances against anyone. I have flipped back and forth on this team so much this year on whether we suck or are contenders but when healthy we started to click as a team. The KU and A&M road losses may as well not even be losses, feel like we won both games in my mind. And with Murray being highlight video Murray we saw coming in, Ulis leading the way and Willis spacing the floor we are gong to be a tough out. Especially when these guys know its do or die time.

Whatever Haslametrics is, they have us as #5 behind MSU, Virginia, UNC and Kansas.

Hit some balls this weekend myself, wanted to on Sunday as well but was too sore. Really sucks to want to play and practice but the body can't handle more than a couple times a week. Signed up for a tournament already so its time now to step it up and get ready for golf season.

Looks like Tiger will be playing the Masters.

Happy for Leo.

Spotlight was always my 1b to 1a Revenent, solid movie and in my mind both stood out above the second tier of really good movies out there this year

And yes Clark, the supporting actor in Bridge of Spies was excellent, came out of it saying he was better than Hanks when i saw it.

If you don't pay attention to trends or how certain teams are doing then you are correct it is straight up luck.

I've honestly got to the point where I was with football which is a good thing. It is no longer about the number and more about what Vegas is trying to get you to do.

I have cashed in over 1000 already and I'm back up huge again.

I have Texas tonight.

Beat Florida and LSU and UK will finish the regular season with 8 wins against the RPI top 50 and 13 against the RPI top 100.

That is a nice resume there.

UNC has 3 wins against the Top 50 and is still a one-seed according to Lunardi.

When I bet college basketball, I find it's best to use a coin flip system. Paying attention to trends and how certain teams are doing is hogwash. It's much more effective to have no clue what's going on when you place a bet.

If you didn't take the gift Vegas laid you with Vandy + points at home against a Willis-less UK team, than you shouldn't be GAMBOLING.

ML parlays will continue to be my best friend. Touch the games missing by 1-3 points.

So Barry comes to BG, finds a girl and smashes. Next night she "stays in". No, she did not stay in, you just did not do anything for her, she went out, she just told you that she wasn't not to hurt your feelings. Sorry playa, you got played. At least she was considerate enough not to hit you with the truth that you just didn't have "IT." Yeah, Southern Lanes is a gd who's who of losers in town. A 24 hour bowling alley should have been a warning sign of what was inside. Hilligans ? lol, so I take it you did not hit the square for your adventure ???

Per BBdK just before I became a cripple he doesn't.

False, you idiot. Nobody keeps up with CBB/gambol more than me in this thread.

I said I don't give a **** about BS Trends.

Panthers are 2-7 ATS over the last decade on MNF as the underdog in domes.

^ **** like that, that ABH likes to send me. How an NFL team did 5 years ago with a completely different team (and often times coach) doesn't mean ****.

And double LOL at you acting like keeping up with teams/trends GUARANTEES gambol success. It most certainly does not. Sometimes you just hit a bad run.

Actually my spot stopped the ML parlays.

I agree then, those trends are stupid. I was thinking more along the lines of KU had covered 6 straight so I took T Tech Saturday. That is the only trends I follow, and anything deeper than that is over thinking it.

Much like Maryland hasn't covered in 5 games.

Like the Vandy game, I've been hitting those type of lines hard. A higher ranked team as a small favorite or even an underdog is Vegas begging for a bet so I go the opposite route 100% of the time and it hits about 85%.

Dennis, 73, 80 or any other business moguls, please see the thread I just started. TIA!

- Also, I've been mostly a casual observer and fringe participator in GYERO for a long, long time. I can't recall anyone as desperate to fit in as catfangaffot. No one even comes close, really.

Well, most betters look for favorable trends to bet ON them, not against them.

I get your angle that "well, they have to lose sometime". And I also guarantee you go through spots where you lose your *** while you keep waiting for that to finally happen. (like their 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th consecutive ATS wins)

Congrats on your run though, your a genius! [eyeroll]
