There is no team in NBA history that would murk the Warriors. They are 53-5 in today's NBA, where athletes are better than ever (just like athletes 30 years from now will be better than today's). All they have to do to have the best record of all time is finish 20-4. And teams from the 80's would murk them? OK.

Just look at that. Completely absurd what he's doing. And if you're planning on doubling him, he's extremely unselfish and will dish to an open 3-point shooter, because everybody they have can shoot. For whatever reason, a lot of people still seem to be selling them short, even after they won a title. Pretty puzzling.

80s is where it begins & ends though

Ole Louie Dampier & his picture perfect stroke (or your favorite stone aged UK guard) would get his **** pushed in by Ulis & Murray, sorry if you disagree, it just means you're really old. (and wrong)

...and if you wanna talk about his HOF Pro career, LOL at him going up against, say, Russell Westbrook.

I agree absolutely for college. For the NBA I'd say the superstars of the 70s would still be studs today. And Wilt.

Did everyone miss where Kyle Singler was guarding Steph Curry last night? Or where Dellavedova was guarding him in the finals last year? But those scrubs like Kurt Rambis couldn't even sniff the D-League today imo Just stacked teams top to bottom in this era.

I believe you posted it earlier about the diluted talent due to expansion but it's a relevant point. There were 23 teams back then compared to 30 now.

Steph Curry the last two seasons compares favorably, perhaps even surpass, Jordan's best years. Sustained success is now the only obstacle between him and the discussion as best player ever.

To illustrate Curry's season, here is the shooting performance of two players from 73's top 10 all time list in their best season:

58.0 TS% - Kobe
61.4 TS% - Jordan
68.5 TS% - Curry

This shooting efficiency is something that far surpasses anything that Jordan or Kobe could do.

Curry is having the best offensive season ever for a perimeter player. It's a level of dominance unrealized by any other guard or wing in history. Sit back and enjoy his brilliance.

Who was guarding Curry when he pulled up for his 12th (of 16) 3, from 32 Feet, to win the game at the buzzer? :sunglasses:

...[laughing] that would be the dumbest shot EVER for literally anyone else in basketball history, but a good (and normal) one for him of course.

Ridiculous. Some funny reactions from his peers around the league.

Not sure how the Celtics stop the Warriors. Or how the Warriors stop the Celts either. Would be a barn burner.

Only issue with Curry ever getting the goat label is his defense. He can't guard like Jordan or Kobe. What he's doing offensively is unreal.

I watched the entire game, idiot. What part about Kyle Singler guarding him at one point last night (off a switch, but Kyle Singler even being in that position is my point) or Delly guarding him in the finals was false? Please type your response in English. Or better yet, just don't reply. FALSE!

Congrats watching the whole game, and remembering the two times in OT after Durant was fouled out when Singler guarded Steph on a switch.

Real observant which isn't a big deal until you pass it off like Steph was only guarded by Singler all game.

That is what is false! And I didn't want you to waste anymore time on it than you already have so I found a condensed 4 minute video so that you can see for yourself how awful your claim was.

Based on who's responded, feeling pretteh, pretteh good about my position.

Got murked at church league by a team that hit 23 threes against us, including one dude who hit 14. I've never seen anything like it. My team is actually pretty good, but we were toast 5 minutes in.

Killer defense giving up 14 threes to one guy in a church league game.

[laughing]
We could've hit that dude with a chair and it wouldn't have mattered. At some point you'd think exhaustion or boredom would kick in. Nope! And not a single one grazed rim. It was unreal. If it wasn't happening to my team, I would've gone Rucker Park crowd and stormed the court in joy after the last one.

Did Leo DiCaprio have a stroke?

Either that or maybe someone busted his lip in the last couple of days. It was weird, for sure.

Congratulations to him, btw. It wasn't enough that he was an A list movie star and waxed every model from here to Chief's basement, the guy had to have it all.

He's deserved it a few times though, guy is fantastic.

Never heard of Spotlight until tonight but now I'm wishing it was another movie b/c the sports writers are like, "STOP LAYING US OFF, JOURNALIST RULE!!!"

Hard to top Hollywooders as the most annoying people of the night but we're getting there.

Bowling Green randoms

-Got down there on Friday night around 7 and was drinking approx. 3 minutes after I arrived at my buddy's apartment. Fired up the Tinder machine and started swiping (Tinder is dope when in foreign cities). Matched with a sloot that intrigued me. Pregamed a little while longer and met up with her at WKU's premier college bar, Hilligans. A few more drinks, some nice dance floor grinding and the next thing I know we're walking back to her place. Got in some guts and had a comfortable bed to sleep in for the night. Pretty dope.

-Was feeling it the next morning. Typical awkward morning after conversation. Buddy picked me up on his way back from his lass' place. We laughed and high fived then went back to his apartment where we hit the bong and played FIFA until the Cats game.

-About 5 minutes before the game my buddy says, "Oh yeah, we don't get CBS." Unfortunately we had already missed the afternoon showing of Deadpool  so I scrambled for an alternative way to watch the game. After I tore him to shreds for being a plebeian, was able to stream the game on a laptop with shotty wifi. The streaming quality was so bad that I could barely read the scoreboard. That, combined with watching our frontcourt playing like ******** was infuriating. Was drinking shortly after the game ended.

-Got to experience a Bowling Green bowling alley on a Saturday night. One of the most bizarre experiences of my life. It was ***packed*** when we got there.Nothing but overweight rednecks and their overweight children. 25 minute wait to get a lane. Bought a few pitchers and boozed until one opened up. The music being played throughout the bowling alley alternated between Lil Wayne and Slayer the entire time we were there. Despite the people you have to deal with in the process, bowling is fun AF. Bowled 2 games and definitely would've bowled more if the girls we were with weren't ready to leave.

-Pretty meh rest of the night. Girl I smanged the night before stayed in so that really wasn't an option. Woke up Sunday morning and endured the miserable 2 hour hungover car ride back to Louisville.

-Rode up to Long Run Country Club and hit a few nuggets yesterday afternoon. Started off shaky, but was hitting it purer than a driven snow towards the end of my range sesh. Can't wait til I can start taking ShitBag's money again in some golf gambol :100points:.

Bulls vs. Warriors

Jordan would guard Curry.
Pippen would guard Thompson.
Rodman would guard Green.

Next 4 guys are Longley/Harper/Kukoc/Kerr and Bogut/Barnes/Iguadola/Livingston. Probably give the edge to the Warriors here, but it's close.

Biggest thing I see is the Warriors don't have anyone to guard Jordan or Pippen, whereas the Bulls could close down on the Warriors with 3 defensive wizards.

Lakers vs. Warriors

Who guards Magic/Worthy/Kareem? I think Curry would get his, but I think everyone else gets held in check. Worthy is way better than Green. Kareem is a mismatch. Cooper was a defensive wizard and long enough to cause problems for Thompson. Or just put Magic on Thompson, and let Scott/Cooper guard Curry.

Biggest thing? The Lakers could run with the Warriors, but could pound the paint and slow it down if they had to. The Warriors would push push push. But then when the Lakers pound down in the post to Kareem/Worthy, not sure how the Warriors would respond. Or what they could do about it.

The Lakers were a gigantic team. People forget that. 7'2", 6'9", 6'9", 6'9", and 6'3" in the starting lineup. First guy off the bench was a very long 6'5" and defensive ace. And they could all run. Just don't see how the Warriors could match up.

FYI, the 86-87 Lakers averaged 118 PPG. Showtime.

Have never played golf in wind like yesterday, shew. Some serious gusts. Still more work to do, but I was stroking it off the tee. Very happy about that. Getting out in February is pretty :boom:

Hard to believe the SECT is less than two weeks.

Buddy of mine played Kearney yesterday - bet that was real hoot, being a links course.

Played some pickup yesterday in lieu of next week's 1st GELex night. Went over there to Falling Springs in WofoCo. Nice little facility. The jumper was fine... it was just the stopping and starting that effed me up. What little burst I once had has now gone the way of the dodo, especially when you're already sucking air. Hesitation dribble -- false. Up/under layups -- false. Defensive stance -- turbo false. OHNO.

Middle finger on my right hand went numb on Friday and got progressively worse with the swelling -- texted the good Doc Pope and he diagnosed it as Paronchyia. My pharmacist was unable to confirm, but Google was. Boat was dead on.

^ Not my finger, but pretty much identical. Feels like a combination of a 2nd degree burn, along with a tack stuck into my finger on the right side of the nail. Painful as F...guess I'll be playing a Roosevelt Jones role tonight, or referee.

Anyone ever dealt with this?
