-The Ulis, Murray, Briscoe, Poythress, Lee lineup just is not a winning lineup. It's just not. Two guys who can score. Defenses can collapse effectively and help off anyone when Ulis/Murray drives, without fear of getting burned. That lineup is never going to work.

-NO. MORE. SKAL.

-Get rested, get healthy, get out of the idiotic SEC road gyms that can absolutely suck my *******, and get a four or a five seed and let's see what happens.

Do not compare close road SEC games to close games.

Pretty sure UL/UK was close in the end and off the top of my head MSU ended up being close too.

These games I assume get our guys focused. We know who we are and what we can and can't do. That **** show just reinforces it, IMO.

Off shooting game for Ulis. He had plenty of looks. Nothing from inside. It was like December all over.

-I understood what 73 was saying. Don't see any reason to take it out of context.

Gonna really effing suck to lose the SEC title by one game and know it came down to that ******** in College Station.

I want A&M and Vandy in the SECT, and throw Auburn's bunch of scrubs in there too.

First redass game for me since Wiscy! Congrats, maybe?

Had enough of Rowlands **** on Twitter. Letting him have it.

I knew it was coming but I'm still miffed at AP's ability to no-show like this.. as a senior...in his home state. It's unbelievable but believable if that makes any sense. SMH.

Shut Willis down until he's 110%. Sucks it may cost a regular season SEC title but it's all about that run. Don't give a **** about the seed, just get the guys ready.

Poor Izak got the Wiltjer treatment from Stallings tonight. He's always done a good job of exploiting that weak link on D. Those repeated ball screens were just too much for him to process.

Tyler Ulis and Jamal Murray are Kentucky's best players, but Derek Willis just might be the Most "Valuable" Player for this team.
No, I'd say Ulis and Murray are the two most valuable. Willis clearly is a catalyst and important, but you take Ulis off this team and they are 2013 level garbage.

Yes. And he and Murray are the best players for UK, no question.

This team is on a completely different level when Willis does his thing. Without him, we're a 2 man show. With him, we spread the floor, Murray can go off for 20-25, Ulis can do this thing, Briscoe can drive the lane. We throw lobs to Lee, etc. Without Willis, teams dog Murray and Ulis until they get tired, and cram the paint with the other guys.

Willis is the X Factor for this team, no question. If you're drafting, you go Ulis 1 then Murray 2, but if Willis 3 isn't your 3rd choice, you pretty much suck at basketball.

OK, sure. This is correct. And a far cry from "most valuable player".

That 2nd half Vandy is also a top 20 team and who we've been expecting all year. Stretch 4, athletic 3, dead eye shooter and top 15 draft pick at center. Like AM tough match up for us especially without Willis.

Not a ton of redass for me. Expected a loss and Tyler had a really off game. I'm in March mode. Just get us there.

Skal blowing the gift wrapped dunk / layup while causing a turnover was a nice microcosm of his time here so far. I'm sure he's a great guy, but I'm hoping he leaves after this year. I hope he cons a team into drafting him in the lottery, and I hope he's smart with those paychecks, because I'm not sure he'll be getting anymore. At least not ones as big as those lottery checks.

As much as we in Geyro have the red *** for Alex I cant begin to imagine what level Cal is with the kid. I won't even allow myself to go there with Skal.

Jesus Christ the Warriors are insane. Steph Curry is a freak of nature. They are going to give the 1996 Bulls a run for their money.

Exactly. Willis takes us from a decent tournament team to Final Four threat.

Jane, you ignorant slut. While Willis' ability to stretch the floor may look impressive against the dregs of the SEC, in reality, it does nothing to make this team a F4 contender. This team is simply too flawed for this to be the case. How flawed? Fatally, I'm afraid. No? Well, some of you are pinning your hopes for a successful tournament run on an ability possessed by Derek Willis.

To think we still have a chance to make a deep run in the tourney with this crap for a frontcourt is crazy to think of. But it's possible, I guess... A lot rides on the shoulders of Ulis and Murray... And Willis when he comes back....

Curry just broke his own record for made 3's in a season...with 24 games left to play [laughing]

22 made 3's in the last two games for him. If Warriors games aren't appointment viewing for you by now, then you need to "learn basketball" because they're making history.

Larry Bird may have a little something to say about it, doh.

The backcourt will determine how far we go in the tournament. Willis' effect on this fact is minimal at best.

Then you haven't been paying attention to how the game works.

In order to maximize our backcourt's gifts, they require a spread floor with open driving lines. Willis' presence alone gives them that and forces defenses to play honest. When Willis isnt there to bring guys out of the paint, you'll see clogged lanes and coaches packing it in.I

Instead of responding to this, just GTFO. Go read Dauster's article detailing all the above and try to educate yourself, then come back in 2 years and try this again.

I guess a tourney run is possible but we've done very little all year to show we're more than an inconsistent, jump-shooting doughnut.

The UConn comparisons are just us hoping to be the exception.
