I don't think anyone can disagree with you at this point. I am the best poster in GYERO.

Soon your journey to the dark side will be complete. You will become married, have kids, and your snark shall grow more powerful than any in the universe.

Kgars strategy reminds me of the few times I was WAY over the line inappropriate. Like joking about a buddy who cheated on his wife years ago, in front of him, his wife and about 12 other couples.
24 people simultaneously shouting...."Jesus Bowling"...."wtf is wrong with you" etc etc. Then it goes quite, and I plead my case for the next 20 minutes why it was just a joke, and everyone is overreacting.

Was TheBelievers that doofus that broke his back falling over the railing at Commonwealth when he tried to rush the field?
Don't think so. Believe he was the cart wrangler at Target.

Broken back might be PlayBall06

Find myself either really agreeing with or really disagreeing with wcc lately. MVP of the last half of the season.

Do you agree or disagree that it's tougher to breathe with Chad's ding dong in your mouth?

For those keeping up with possible job openings at Power 5 schools....

....amazingly, you can take FSU off the list. Not only are they keeping Hamilton but decided to give him an extension.

Love these types of articles.

FILM SESSION: The latest Calipari ‘tweak’, and why Derek Willis changed the course of Kentucky’s season

[...]

Willis’ presence is not the be-all and end-all here. Kentucky’s resurgence wouldn’t be possible without Ulis playing out of his mind or Murray shooting like he’s trying to make Steph Curry jealous. (Can we start calling him Chef Murray yet or nah?)

And it certainly has to be noted that Murray’s role has changed as well. He’s no longer being used as much as a play-maker or simply a spot-up shooter. Cal has him running off of more screens as opposed to just spotting up on the perimeter. To Murray’s credit, he’s fully embraced his role as a shooter. One of the concerns about him entering the season was what position he would play and whether he could accept being off the ball, and he has. Without question. As a result, not only has he become a much more consistent shooter, but he’s cut down on the stupid decisions that he made earlier in the year; when you decision-making process is limited to ‘if you’re open, shoot the ball’, it’s much easier to avoid making mental mistakes.

But the larger point here is that all of that was made possible — or, at the very least, made easier — by Willis’ presence on the perimeter.

Who would’ve thought in November that the most important player on this Kentucky roster was a junior from Bullitt County that had never played a meaningful minute for the Wildcats?

Oh. I could have sworn you went on a long, several paragraph diatribe about how you had been unfairly accused of being thin-skinned. My mistake. Your skin is clearly thick.

Not unfairly accused of anything nor claimed unfair, but keep stretching it...

Simply pointed out that my responses/action/attitudes are no different than anyone's here (and haven't been for years now), pretty simple actually.

I know it's been brought up before (because I've lurked a while), but I've recently been listening to the podcast versions of KSR and Lemond brings nothing to the table. He just agrees or reiterates what MJ says - waste of a voice on there.

- Broke up with a long-term girlfriend during the '97 FF run. It was Easter Weekend and I was supposed to come home with her and do family stuff. I told her I was staying in Lexington to enjoy that run (I was UK student at the time). She got very upset/hysterical so I told her to hit the bricks. Tried to win her back about a couple weeks later (you get used to certain "things" when you're in a long term relationship) and she wasn't having it. It worked out for the best for all involved though. Summer of '97 and the entire year of '98 helped mold me as a man.

- Made it to the District Championships. Not bad for a terrible coach inheriting a 4 win team from last season. We're in some tall timber now, though. But it's great for the program to get to the Regional Tourney.

- I've never met the dude off the board, but wcc has obviously become very secure and confident with his relationship status. Good for him!

- So are Calcutta pots going to be smaller or larger this year? On one hand, you don't have a dominant (dominate?) team that's going to fetch a lot of $$$. But there are about 10-12 teams you could talk yourself into purchasing for a "bargain." It will be interesting to hear how that plays out for some of you that do that sort of thing.

- Making a trip to Lexington to take in the Sweet 16 this year. Will only be there for Thursday's sessions and Friday's sessions. First time I've been in a couple of years. It has become increasingly difficult for high schools to send their coaches on these trips. Coaches now have to foot the bill or receive some financial aid from an outside source. So happy to be going back. These dates coincide with the first two full days of the NCAA tourney.

- There's nothing like being in Lexington while the Big Dance cranks up.

So in recap today we have had a picture of hs cheerleader crotch which I assume attracted bob to post more today. A joke (I think) concerning attempted murder of their wife something that never would cross my mind let alone joke about. And multiple dissertations on why someone is not thinned skinned at all. I mean really not thinned skinned. Seriously let me show you this 8 page power point presentation to prove it.

Good stuff.

Congrats on that. How good is the kid from Barren? Assuming that's who you play because I have no idea.

Zaxby's sucks, but their salads are near restaurant quality. Tops in the fast food game that I'm aware of.

Leave off the dry & marginal chicken, of course.

- What are the best and worst parts of coaching high school basketball? I'm sure many of the :basketball:s in here have wondered about that in some far off "maybe I coulda" land?

- It's true. There's a buzz, an electricity about the whole town in March with the Cats playing good ball and ready to make a run. I still remember experiencing College Utopia during that '98 F4, cruising into town, it's upper 60s, college kids out everywhere rocking their blue, throwing frisbee, drinking beer, hanging off porches, grilling out, dimes everywhere. It was heaven for an 18-year-old.

Not necessarily true. There are ways around, at least for the football state championship weekend. Not easy, and your administration has to be willing to play ball, but it can be done.

I'm just a lowly lurker, but I will give credit to UCL, who was the first poster in this thread, that I recall, who was clamoring for Willis to be a stretch 4, open up the driving lanes, give us an extra shooter. CoolCat316 wasn't far behind with the Willis love, then BBdK. Anyhow, that's how I remember it. The Dauster article is funny, when I read posts on here in November begging for that tweak.
