The Webb brother and Lexington.

Donald died a couple years back, so that just leaves Dudley..

-Never heard any scuttlebutt on what the plan was, but the red flags were the GC is a firm based out of Florida, and Stantec Engineers, who was going to command two or three floors, got the f*ck out even before the cranes showed up.

Summed up, if none of the local boys are in on it, it'll die on the vine...pun intended, and imo.

That was the problem, Willy. I do no shots.

I frequently do way too many. I was being sarcastic in a self deprecating sort of way.

Although I only did only do one free shot of Firefly on Saturday.

I'm sure I will be in the double digits every night at the SECT.

I know its wrong. But so are cargo shorts and tats, but I got 'em anyway.

Don't you have 3 boys? Don't they play sports with other boys? Aren't almost all of their friends at this age boys?

Learn confirmation bias.

That's actually proximity bias.

Okay, it's time for every fanbase to quit calling itself "_______ Nation". How many NATIONAL fanbases are there? Probably one hand's worth, between CFB and CBB. So I don't need to turn on a UC-Irvine game and see "ANTEATER NATION" on my screen. Actually, I don't need to turn on an UC-Irvine game period, except to watch that Ndiaye kid.

Rack. There are about a dozen or so fanbases across all U.S. sports that deserve to be called "Nation." Pretty sweet that Kentucky basketball is one of them. :sunglasses:

(Now that's confirmation bias... But it's also true.)

Richard will fail forward though. He's got a bit of Lane Kiffin about his career trajectory... Probably lands somewhere small up east and crushes it for a few years before getting another guaranteed multimillion dollar P5 contract.

Amateur sports! FTGE.

I assume I'm not the only person that wants Gronk to DIAF? I really only see headlines, and hear him mentioned on talk radio very briefly before I either don't read the article, or change the channel; but, I can just tell I hate the guy with almost no information.

Gronk has this stigma that he's a huge party animal because he makes appearances at clubs/parties, etc., while a larger portion of the NFL is back in their respective hometowns doing *much* worse, I assume.

He's absolutely the most confusing personality for me. On one hand I love that he's a badass at football and gives no f*cks about being a wild party bro. On the other hand he's a massive meat head bro and I hate him. I'd be lying if I said I didn't click on the Gronk Party Cruise links that have been popping up. Conflicted.

-Richard isn't going anywhere this year. He'll get another chance.

Heard from a guy who is friend's with Apollo's basketball coach. Basically, he was told that of all the coaches that recruited Eli Wright, there were only two ********.
  1. Tom Crean
  2. Little Richard.
I know everyone is shocked, just shocked by that information.

He also said that Huggins was very cool and a straight shooter. He apparently told Eli that if you come to WVU, you might make the NBA, and you might not. He said if you come here for four years we'll win and you'll get better. And if don't get drafted, you'll have a good job after your four years here. He also said if you don't want to come here, that's fine, because we'll get someone that's just as good as you.

Huggins is one of those guys I used to hate but I've softened on as his career has aged. The fact that he's tight with Cal doesn't hurt. Still resent him for stopping the 2010 run, but you can't fault him for that, and like you said, he's a straight shooter, plus he's funny, he's a hell of a coach, and I love the fact that he doesn't give a touch and wears windbreakers to games.

Only reason to hate Gronk is the team he plays for, but that's good enough for me.

He's awful- a cheesy meathead. Of course, the dorky sports media falls all over themselves about his antis.

-Wish some of you fellas could come out tonight and practice against the HS rec league team I'm coaching. We're 2-4 headed into tourney play, and need some mojo in the worst way. Boys need to toughen up, ATKOT.

-Chad, this book rec is way late, but I just finished "All the Light We Cannot See" and thought it was outstanding.

-If Memphis isn't too butthurt over Cal, they should lock up Kenny Payne. Guy is ready for prime time, and could navigate not only those recruiting waters, but MS as well, since he's a native. And I'd take Pastner on this staff too. He's not Memphis head coach material, but he is head coach material SOMEWHERE. So let him recruit like a madman for Cal for a few years, regroup, and then dip his toes at another less-stressful program in a few years.

-Saw a tweet last night that indicated some tOSU fans were tired of Matta. That came out of nowhere. They're down this year, but he still coaches and recruits at a pretty high level for that place. They were due for a dip. Will be strong next season.

-Feels like Bryce Drew needs to strike while the iron is hot, assuming he wants a high-major job. Same could be said for Archie Miller and Chris Mack, but their profile is high enough that they can be a little bit pickier, a la Gregg Marshall.

-Good for Phil Martelli. Thirty years at Saint Joe's(20 as HC), had one awesome team in 2004, and has endured some losing seasons and job insecurity to fight back and go 22-4 so far this season. I know he's a prick and whatnot, but I still like seeing guys like him stay in one place for a long time, especially guys who add some character to the game.

-I know we don't care about women's hoops, but still....Tennessee being out of the Top 25 this week for the first time in 31 YEARS is pretty remarkable.

-Now I'm done. Don't rack me.

Tennessee is apparently will look at Jeff Walz if the position is open, which of course Louisville fans think there's no way he'd leave Louisville for Tennessee.

- Reading during CBB season just isn't happening for dad.

- No way Memphis hires another Cal assistant after that debacle. Am curious about Payne as a HC, though. Seems to have a good temperament and is an excellent bigs coach.

- Jeez Louise, who'da thunk Humphries > Skal.

- Piss on Martelli.

Team Humphries as far as UK winning basketball games (which is still relevant, I think). DRAFT CATS guy disagrees, I'm sure, and he's right. Skal has more pro potential, clearly.

Not even a college basketball, either. Mashburned was also pretty outspoken about it, per the records.

I think Mack is so *******-up about X trying to be the poor man's Duke (of the Rust Belt) that he stays until they flounder.

Whoever doesn't make the shots to enter the first game, and those thereafter.

Aka, not me.

Honestly though, we've had volunteers to sit out the odd game when we've had extra, pretty much everyone but Ochs can use the rest. 12-13 is ideal, but any more than that, especially over 15 is no good for this format given how long we usually play (1:30-1:45)

-Cats -13 and moving higher? Pass

Gronk is an uber tool, but I do have a modicum of respect for him in one regard - guy has his financials on lock-down.

Read an article at the start of the football season talking about how he set a rule for himself to bank all of his contract money (16 million to date vested) and just live off endorsement money.

Nothing earth shattering there but with how much of a bag he comes across as and athletes in general going broke with a quickness, seems like he at least is taking advantage short window of earning potential.

Centre Pointe by Rodan+Fields.

krazykats, CEO

Couldn't be more false actually. Krazy is a networking fool and never wants to be a #1 neck on the line kind of guy!

However, CEO's do get a secretary so my clear typing abilities simply would be masked by only having to sign ****!:100points:

I think Fran Dunphy's story is one of the cooler ones, basically been coaching in the Big 5 (Lasalle, Penn, Temple) since 1979.

Dude can flat coach.

Palestra is a CBB bucket list item of mine, just hard to imagine when/why it would happen...guess it would be worth it to see Jay up close. :flushed: Talks they might resume playing an annual 'home' game there again.

Jerome doesn't come out until after 11pm.

You get no credit for being well-behaved at 7:30pm, and on your way to a nice family dinner.

Not from me, at least.

Saw somebody drew up schematic for an amphitheater at Centre Point. Seems like a great idea, zero chance would ever happen.

[laughing] at WCC arguing with that gaffot LST on the CBB board. That dude is the epitome of a self-important moderator that takes his hall monitor position entirely too serious. He also converted from something like a Texas fan or whoever to being a UCONN fan after the first time they beat UK for the championship yet doesn't have an vendetta against UK fans.

Anyway, give him hell. That place is worse than RR these days.
