Pretty much. Like just about everything in this city it's done in the most dumbass manner possible.

Maybe if they sell 500 membership to the Pit for $100/ea like Rupp planned we can get something built on the site.

I enjoyed it as green space.

I don't follow the situation closely, what exactly is the holdup. Just Lexington being Lexington?

The night polo matches were dope. Really unique. Paddock surrounded by high rises and a lively boozed up crowd.

That could have been sooo Lexington but it turned out this financial/development debacle is much moreso Lexington.

All of my wife's friends have boys. Seems like very few girls being born recently. Weird.

And yes yes we have a Geese and a SAE. It'll be like living in Alaska for them.

I really don't know many people with girls. Seems like everyone has 2-4 boys. If there is a girl, she's outnumbered by her brothers.

I know there are girls out there, but just seems like there are a lot more boys lately. Alaska has a lot more men than women, thus the reference.

The green space did look dope and had some real "urban renewal" potential.

OTOH The Hole makes a unique downtown destination. Should be on the cover of all the in-room "Lexington!" magazines in the local hotels imo

As a parent, The Hole is ideal re threatening your children. "Don't want to eat your broccoli? Looks like someone wants to be abandoned in The Hole!" (insert laugh track)

So Duke wins a big game and then loses a big game.

99.9999999% of teams who do this usually hold steady from their previous week ranking.

Duke? Nah. Moved up 5 spots in the AP top 25 [laughing]

It's surrounded by Upper, Main, Limestone, and Vine. So basically the heart of downtown.

-COY candidates this year....Altman? Mack? McCaffery? Feels like other than those three, every Top 25 team was expected to be there.

-Yep, I remember an old "Oprah" episode where they brought all these dudes from Alaska to Chicago because there weren't enough single women up there. I'm not proud about knowing this.

-Okay, it's time for every fanbase to quit calling itself "_______ Nation". How many NATIONAL fanbases are there? Probably one hand's worth, between CFB and CBB. So I don't need to turn on a UC-Irvine game and see "ANTEATER NATION" on my screen. Actually, I don't need to turn on an UC-Irvine game period, except to watch that Ndiaye kid.

-Felt bad for dropping over $100 for my kids' softball gear at Dick's the other day, until a friend told me that they dropped over $500 for their kids' gear. Same ages, same sports.

Don't you have 3 boys? Don't they play sports with other boys? Aren't almost all of their friends at this age boys?

Learn confirmation bias.

Seems like it may be a quiet year on coaching jobs.

-Wisky going to stick with Bo's guy?
-Memphis will open up I assume.
-UNLV will swing for the fences and miss.
-UL?

Providence, ftw. Co-ed catholic, different state but only 10 minutes from home, Fuzzy Zoeller playing Sam Malone at my junior prom party. Good times.
