GYERO ARCHIVE

[roguemocha]

I couldnt get too upset yesterday since I was +$540 for the day even with losing $100 on the Cats who I rarely bet on. Not putting anything out there today I don't think. MAYBE Temple +4 but once I'm up I like to keep it.

[anthonys735]

Well f*ck this season. Can't catch a damn break. Every damn ball and every fuckimg call has been against us. Was hoping that ankle was a light sprain.

[drxman1]

You can't really tell how bad it is just by looking at it. X-rays will show if it broke, but MRI would assess the ligaments.

But yeah, I'd say he may be out a while.

[jtrue28]

Hawkins got injured Jan 2nd. "High ankle sprain". He didn't return (and apparently too soon) until Jan 30th...Kansas game.

So potentially 4 weeks.

Dakari God-A-Mighty-Damn

[UKwizard]

We need what ever miracle cure that got Sheppard ready for the NCAA after that nasty sprain in the SEC tourney.

[MaxPowerrr]

HGH and horse tranqs. That's our "tweak".

[wcc31]

Funny thing is- I like us better than damn near anyone right now. Just injuries and ******** whistles. Almost to the point where I'm like the hell with the seed. Just get us fixed and whole and bring it on.

[anthonys735]

I mean it's not enough for us to lose on a ridiculous T in the final seconds but we also lose the X factor to our season. Hopefully we can get him back by the tourney. Agree with chad. Need to give Mulder some run.

[MaxPowerrr]

Mulder about to pull a 2014 Marcus Lee, chill

[Strokin_Bandit]

I sprained mine like that one time in the same fashion. No one around. No contact. Jogging down the court and changes directions. Boom. Over it went.

The swelling looked almost identical but was a bit lower. I had a deformed foot for a week, but around that second week I was able to move on it. I was 30 at the time and didn't have the resources Derek had. I'm just saying . . . don't lose all hope GYERO.

[LadyCat92]

That's what I'm saying. I think he misses 2 games.

[buckethead1978]

Sit him out until SEC tourney

[Geese Feeder]

Was Willis wearing high tops?

[cawoodsct]

Sit him out until SEC tourney

Cal is very cautious with injuries, i'd expect this to be likely.

[GYERater]

Ive probably twisted/sprained my ankles 20 times over the years, 19 times I looked like Willis and was fine in a week, 1 time it was a high ankle sprain any my entire lower leg was swollen and discolored for about 6 weeks. What Hawkins had was a completely different animal.

[IsRichieGonnaStart]

Willis was rocking some mids. I don't get why these kids do that. Teague used to rock mids as well and it drove me crazy.

[BlueKel_rivals210266]

I work in business insurance, so obviously I'm a medical expert...that seriously looks just like the ugly sprains we all have had through the years. Swelling will be down soon, and maybe Bama is the only game he misses. At least it isn't the dreaded high ankle sprain, which seems to linger. I'll comment more later in the week, because I'm staying at a Holiday Inn Express for a couple of nights.

[anthonys735]

I have a call in the the Euclid Kroger pharmacy, I'll let you know what they say about his sprain when they call back.

Top 3 jerseys in all of sports and they somehow made it better for the winter classic

[LadyCat92]

So, this Anthony Davis kid, he's kinda good, no?

[Barrett Lindsey]

Wild have the best jerseys in hockey. Really want to pull the trigger and buy one of these bad boys. Things are dope.

[Kennedy_UK]

^ But that sweater says "Minnesota" on it...

[Strokin_Bandit]

FWIW, I've heard trainers say there is no real difference between mid-tops and hi-tops in terms of ankle sprains. Apparently, "sports scientists" or some crap have been studying this over the years for some reason. I don't buy in to it, but some of these trainers (I.e, NOT doctors) believe it doesn't matter which cut of shoe you wear.

[Barrett Lindsey]

To top off what's been an awful weekend in #sprots. Bubba Watson wins at Riviera. Can't have nothin' nice, you guys.

[JHB4UK]

Cal is very cautious with injuries, i'd expect this to be likely.

but Cal also thinks the SEC tourney is bullspit that does nothing for our seeding

Ncaa 1st round Thurs or fri return?

[_Chase_]

Bullspit?

GFY.

[TransyCat09]

Wild have the best jerseys in hockey.

Controversial and wrong take. They are nice, but they can't compete with the Blackhawks

I'd hope if he was healthy enough, Cal would play him in the SECT. Get a few games under his belt to settle in so we don't run the risk of him being completely cold in the games we'll need him most.

[Mossip]

On a scale of 1-10 redassed, I'm like a trillion! Sooo mad you guise.

Dude, go get pumped already.

[sinker16]

OK we get it

[Strokin_Bandit]

I'd rather watch a game with Bristol, to be honest.

No offense.

What would be your other 2 jerseys in top 3?

[Strokin_Bandit]

"Butthurt" is the first symptom of you not belonging here.

Hope you enjoyed your few weeks.

Peace.:victory:

[_Chase_]

Good stuff, Mossip. We're all happy for you that you have the ability to emotionally disconnect from UK losses. I'm sure you and your therapist can discuss that fantastic breakthrough. I think everyone here is about done with the conversation though.

[TransyCat09]

What would be your other 2 jerseys in top 3?

Raiders and Dodgers or Michigan football

Honestly, the dude cyberstalking GYERO for 24 hours about the subject is waaaay weirder than someone getting a breather after an emotional loss by his favorite team.

[cricket3]

I'd want to take a look and evaluate my life more if I was taking personal shots at someone on a message board who said they didn't want to watch a game with me.

I watched the Auburn football game, which was a pretty strong dick punch, with Bristol and he was level headed.

[legalbeagle123]

Raiders and Dodgers or Michigan football

Cardinals Birds on the Bat my #1 (biased obviously), script Dodgers, Tigers, Red Wings, Bruins, Blackhawks, Packers, Bulls, Lakers.

[Strokin_Bandit]

I've heard there is something called "locking" your ankle when running/cutting. Similar to flexing it or something? Any idea what that even means, Spears?
