Yep. Kid has learned when to drive and when to shoot, goes N-S now instead E-W. He's also become a lot scrappier on D and the glass. I've been impressed with him.

Yep. The 'when' has finally settled in for Murray and it has made all the difference in the world. Greenberg nailed it last night mentioning how much more 'shot ready' he is and how he is finding the spots early pre-catch as opposed to forcing the action, trying to get there himself with the ball. Murray's basketball maturity has grown leaps and bounds just within the past 30 days. Props to the kid for settling in and letting the game come to him. Don't feel he's pressing/auditioning ALL THOSE SKILLS to the NBA brass anymore and is just playing. *Wouldn't mind to see him make an easy bounce pass on a 2v1 break every once in a while, doh.

BBdK said it several days ago but the team is rounding into who we thought they would be, specifically the backcourt. Skal has been the obvious disappointment, but the small ball has been joy to watch. The spacing/familiarity is apparent, they're scoring a bunch of points, and the driving lanes have notably increased our % from deep (which is pretty amazing despite we still have zero post presence on the offensive block and is more of a credit to the point god that is Tyler Ulis).

Still expect maybe 1 or 2 more '**** the bed' games before the Tourney but it won't be the worst thing in the world going into March just a bit below the radar. Get AP up & running again while easing more Humphries into more of a situational/role type big is crucial, IMO. In doing so, think we will then have the ability to match up w/ most every team out there. Ain't gonna worry about the ******** seed they'll give us, either. Just throw the ball up and let these guards guards guards run ****.

Moby Dick is fantastic...as far as fast food goes, place is quality.

They filet their full fish every morning, everything is breaded and made from scratch, even the fried appies.

I always thought Moby Dick was pretty solid in a pinch.

Yeah, that's why I wondered if it was the location I went to. Have always seen you guys say good things about it in GYERO, and was looking forward to giving it a try. But it was terrible. I'm all about second chances, though, so we'll see. :eek:kay:

Lol, same. I was begging for him to leave an easy lob or drop off to Matthews last night, but knew it wasn't happening.

As long as he's straight-lining to the rim, which he is, I can deal with it.

He's not giving it up on the break, and that's that. :)

More worried about this game or @ Vandy?

History suggests @ Vandy will be a bear, but the 45 hour turnaround + Gameday + injuries has convinced me that this will be our toughest remaining test of the season.

Get through this game Saturday, I like where we're sitting.

And to add to what was said earlier, I'm less concerned with our seed than our region. Put us in Louisville, and everything else is cream cheese.

I laughed when he didn't pass it to Matthews because it was so predictable that it was going to go down like it did. I'm guessing Matthews knew that and was resided on playing for a put back if he missed. Pretty much all you can do with Murray on the break with you.

Really looking forward to the game watch deal tmw with everyone. Been too long since we did one of these.

Taking the lass to Mussell & Burger Bar tonight downtown for a little date night. Never been and looking forward to it. Already built some equity earlier the week by cleaning the entire house on Monday during my day off. Took 4 hours.. White glove treatment. The works. May get up early tomorrow and cook her some breakfast while she catches up on sleep.

Hopefully all of this combined gives me enough of a margin of error to get up to The Roof early.

I've heard good things.

Wife and I are doing a party bus w/ several other couples from Louisville on Saturday afternoon to Maker's Mark Distillery and we were wanting to grab moderately priced dinner at a place such as M&B Bar once we get back into town. Wife doesn't like Hammerheads much.

Bonzo suggested Equus in St. Matts but still think that may be a bit too upscale.

Any other recs?

Mussel Burger Bar is ridicto. Went CEO last time...the Elote is a must as a side item. :fire:

Downtown Location has made it a place you can actually go to and get in -- pretty much gave up on the Zoo that is the original location.

SideBar is another option, it's burgers are equally as good imo -- but a pretty limited menu if anyone would like something else.

Café LouLou is next to Equus, and great. Havana Rumba is right there as well.

-You planning that around the game I hope, Geese? Swing through Tin Roof with your crew...setting up to be pretty Bonkers.

Golf in the morning, and then 70 degrees & afternoon day-drinking, Basketball, & Gambol with wildcat friends, ftw. Guess I'll make tomorrow my SEC Tournament. :)

Moby Dick is a very good fish sandwhich.

In high school parents of my good friend owned a MDICK franchise. Nothing was better than rollling in at 3am and multiple, multiple fish box for two's waiting on the counter :cool2:

Matt Jones stated on the call in show after the game, "If there is a board meeting and at least 10 members are present, it must be open to the public." And if they had said meeting, it is against the law without it being open to the public.

Was asked by a caller, would you rather be a 1 seed out West, or 2 seed in Louisville. He said 1 seed out West because west is generally the weakest bracket and would have Arizona or someone like that with them.

Someone here in GYERO a few years ago recommended The Ketch for fish. was pretty damn good.

We actually need to thank Poppa Willis and Ole girl for Derek's transformation to elite baller, Cal did not / could not get anything into his head, Ole Dad and that ****y changed airything with his thinking.

Meh, dudleys is fine. We went there so much because the beans are creatures of habit and get awkward when you take them out of their path. Good atmosphere and decent food. Irreparable damage to the Lexington culinary scene with the 45 spin offs.

Beans like to go to the same places. Creatures of habit. Nothing ground breaking. I enjoy their company so I mostly oblige.

Try telling Mike all the time the same places he goes to were also inevitably "new" the first time he went there, lol.

Was happy I was able to show them a new place they liked in NYC, made me feel proud. :flushed:

The Beans are superstitious. The go to the same place, same table, same server. They order the same thing, every time.

They are also very high energy. As opposed to Anth, who is very low energy. He is their *****.
