SEC Hoops is such a joke, I'm convinced it will never change.

Vandy is sitting in the last 4 in, has a 17 point lead, and loses on a buzzer beater. Cost me $600 win, and instead was left with a push (with juice) Had Vandy & Florida at $300 each...

Said it before, but Stallings does the worst job with his best teams. It's bizarre.

Do they still make Roos? They used to brag about having "POCKETS FOR YOUR STUFF!" but as far as I could tell, you were lucky to be able to slip a dime into those things.

Why hello there my favorite internet stalker. Actually wearing a pair of tan Polo casual Slacks with a sharp, freshly pressed light blue Polo dress shirt with a dark blue polo emblem. And a pair of Sperry tan leather loafers with a pair of navy Happy socks. No cheap windbreakers for me, I don't need a jacket, I have a very nice, huge office with a ceramic element heater sitting right under my desk. Fortunate for me, I have a pretty sweet office job and can wear normal clothes and not have to bundle up, even when leaving this evening, I will simply walk to the door where my personal parking spot is, hit the little auto start on my key fob of my free 2016 Tahoe. It is really handy, it will warm up my car and heat the seats in the winter, cool down the inside and cool my seat in the summer. I am wayyy up, I feel blessed. Thank you for all the attention and concern. I know all 4 vof your new post are all directed to me !!!!!!! Thank you, my fan club is rather small, but I really appreciate the VIP members such as yourself. What are you wearing today, if I may ask ????

****, we didn't even have cable or satellite. Luckily, growing up in the country provided an abundance of discarded nudie mags on the side of the road for me to find while biking to my friends houses.

[thumb2]Almost guaranteed that a distant magazine you spotted in a ditch on the side on an old country road was a Hustler...

- So BBdK's a gambling addict now. Nice vice, bro.

- I wouldn't say Willis is more athletic than Lee, but he's definitely athletic, more athletic than he's given credit.

- When did bourbon turn into baseball cards? Every label has a regular, a premium, a super premium, a super duper premium, etc.

- That Malik Newman is having a helluva year...or a terrible year...or a medicore year...is he hurt...does he even start? Who the hell knows. Great decision, Malik.

- Can I just have Boogie on a good team? Actually, can we have ANY UK player on a good NBA team? Is that too much to ask?

- I just want one big weekend snow. Just one and we can head to spring.

- Seems like it's been a month since UK played. Jeez.

Speaking of shoes, I wore multiple pairs of these in the previous decade as my go to sneaker. Still irritated Adidas discontinued them:

I randomly clicked on the video of the end of the Vandy/Miss St game last night and was like Hey it's Malik Newman...taking and missing one of the worst looking 3 point shots to try and win a game ever.

Just a heads up- UK is selling $25 tickets to the Tennessee and Alabama games. If you're a poor like me that's a pretty good deal. Usually have no desire to fight all that nonsense for a generic basketball game, but figured this would be a good time to take my oldest to his first "real" basketball game. We are literally at the very top, end seats. Couple of large cokes (Pepsi?), personal pizzas and ice cream cones. Should be a blast :):basketball:

If this is for DADYERO that's fine but I've been wondering how old your son should be before taking them to their first Kentucky game. Thoughts?

Sorry, Lexingtonians- we've pretty much missed every big storm. Most we've gotten is 3 inches.

He's not having his first beer, he's going to a freaking UK basketball game. 3, 5, 10. Not sure it really matters.

Trying to get my 9 y.o. daughter down to another game at Rupp but my Jew friend in Loveland never offers me tickets.

The money you save on cheap tickets should be spent on high-end shoes.

What I'm asking is how old they need to be before they'll have a good time, remember the experience, etc. 2? 3? 5? I don't think you got what I was saying.
I took my youngest when he was 4. He had a good time, had some ice cream - probably won't remember a thing about it. Not sure that really matters. There will be a few more "COOL DAD" wrinkles imprinted on their brain, and that works for me.

Mine is 6. Probably depends on the kid but I feel like he's just now old enough to enjoy it. He plays basketball now and watches it on tv a little bit so he's probably going to at least be halfway into it. My 4yo would probably get fidgety after about 20 minutes. I wouldn't want to take him if it's going to leave a bad taste in his mouth and he doesn't want to go back.

Maybe a seat that you can actually see the court from would help his first experience?

Upper level is fine, but if you're talking the top 1/2 or worse up there, no thanks. I mean, have you ever walked to the top for funsies when you were younger? It's UP there, man.

On a side note… I still can't text you. Anytime I try to text you or my nephew I get a text back from +1 (1) (216) 116-11

I know my kid wouldn't get antsy or annoying, but I also know he wouldn't remember anything or "get" what's happening beyond a lot of light and sound and excitement. I think that part of it alone would be enough for him to have fun though. He loves watching the games on tv with me even though he has no idea what's happening. Still, if next year's squad is as-advertised I'll probably take him to a few games at age 3 just so he can experience the Cal era in its prime.

I've sat upper level before but not in a long time. i usually don't care to go to the games at all. Traffic, expensive food, bad seats, etc. But I feel like $50 to take my oldest to his first game is fine. I could've gotten "lower" seats in the upper section but I figured I'd go all out. This way I'm guaranteed a backrest. Plus, I'm figuring by the second half we can mosey down a little bit if vertigo is setting in.

But yeah if anyone wants to sell me 2 lowers for $50 please let me know, thanks
