-7.5 is what it went off at, started at -6. And I have the 2H at -7.5 so I'm probably going to pass.

Nevermind, leaving it alone. Just FYI on those halftime lines pay attention to that even money bet. Obviously not 100% of the time, but more often than not the even money bet hits.

I had -3.5 in a teaser w/ WVU over 129

I hedged. Touch the SEC. (now they will win, of course, and cost me multiple bets I would have won)

Whatever, Onto the rest of the action...

Feel like hammering Vandy just to make myself REALLY pissed off. -2 at Miss St? :grimace:

I know you give me **** for not liking lines but that is a perfect example of a line I take the pts or leave alone.

I really like Vandythere too though.

Oh. Thanks, ShowKilla.

Sounds like you can't lose!!

-A&M has lost 5 straight SEC games. [laughing][eyeroll]

...like them, but 9.5 is too many points for me to lay vs. Ole Miss imo

Someone mentioned the contrianian bet a few days ago and I swear it seems just like that.

Clearly with UK coming in and on the verge of losing 6 straight this "could" be a trap game for A&M yet the line is huge. Makes no sense and I'll probably lose.

But I bet big on Baylor and only parlayed A&M with Baylor. If I lose the parlay I still win the night cap, hopefully!

Texas has played the WVU press perfect by having one of their two PGs inbounding the ball allowing both to be the main ball handlers at every moment during the pressure.

I mean, the real decision if you grew up rich or poor was did your parents get Skinemax, or did you have to wek it to the sound and scrambled picture hoping to make out a boob.

Hedging is a *****, but beautiful thing sometimes :100points:

Had USC in 2 bets (straight & teaser) totaling -230. Both looked like 100% losers. Mizzou 2nd was at +7 (+100), bet $230. Wash my hands of that, win my Ball St (-1) $100...and I'm up a hundo heading into the 9pm slot instead of having my night ruined. :fire::fire::fire:

We lived outside the city limits so we never had scrambled Cinemas at my house. But DirecTV gave a free preview of the first 5 minutes of all the movies they offered, I appreciated the movies that got straight to it.

This view is unwatchable.

I assume you are talking about the show with the hens all sitting around talking about mindless drivel? If so that plays into my theory of daytime tv. It's basically so bad that anyone with any self esteem will get off their *** and get a job. JMO of course

I'm a social gambler. Unless I'm sitting around drinking with my buddies who are also gambling, I don't have much interest.
Some people can't help it. They're just true degenerates*! LOL!

Gambol is great...makes mundane CBB (or whatever) nights fun. You can bet $20 or $2000 -- but it makes a normally uninteresting match-up as fun as anything not involving UK can be. Edge of your seat watching USC/Missouri, or watching cheesy laugh-track sitcoms -- Different strokes...

Highly recommend for any sports fan. :)

Old school satellite FTW.

Heh, grandparents had the old satellite dish too. Playboy, and American XXXtasy. I can still remember the theme music on triple X. Seems they would scramble it after 6 or 8pm.

Other than the porn, the duck pin bowling, or the eleventy billion channels, the best was the live news feeds that wouldn't cut away for commercial.

Yep, and in the good ole days you could get feeds and see shows before they were broadcast nationally. NCAA Tournament was fun too. Watch any game you want, no commercials.

Forgot that happened on ESPN too.

My grandmother could get her "story", days of our lives, a day in advance..commercial free of course. A1-4, iirc.

Good memories right there, man.

Was hooked on Days of Our Lives, started watching when Marlena was possessed by the devil. Life guarding as a summer job in college, we had an old black and white tv we'd watch in the snack shack. Bunch of honeys running round in bikinis, high times those were....

Is $2000 really the limit?
$2000 is the weekly limit on mine, but add that to whatever you're up and you can bet that too. Have a couple friends that have called and got the limit increased because they had lost it all. Increasing that limit has NEVER worked well for anyone as far as I've seen.

I've only paid 4 weeks since college fball started. I don't make many big bets (>$100) but I'm up $1247 for the year. :sunglasses:

Yes, 2K is the max limit for Gambol, it's a federal statute...whether in KY or Vegas.

-[roll]at Vandy. Goodness gracious they're a mess.

-Iowa State has shot-makers, but when you get a goose-egg from your only legitimate center, and can't figure out a 1-2-2 zone that is being coached by freaking Scott Drew, you have holes. Their biggest loss has been by nine points, so they're right there every time, but still....when they're not at Hilton, you have legitimately no idea what you're gonna get. If they get to play in Des Moines for the first rounds(longshot), then they'll make it to the second weekend. Otherwise, I think they bounce right away, just like last year.

-BBdK, that Hall & Oates show is also gonna have Trombone Shorty as the opening act, so yeah....go.

-Cracks me up how much Travolta owns this Robert Shapiro role. Schwimmer, Courtney B. Vance, etc....they absolutely nailed the casting. Will be interested to see Nathan Lane as F. Lee Bailey. Weird fit, but that's only because Lane is uber-:fire: in every other single role.

-My girls hadn't been as cognizant of brands until this past Christmas, when my 11-year-old decided she wanted nothing but UA gear. Part of that is that she's a runner and legitimately likes their running stuff, but she added that it's "the only thing boys at my school wear".

My wife rolled her eyes. But I got it.

****, we didn't even have cable or satellite. Luckily, growing up in the country provided an abundance of discarded nudie mags on the side of the road for me to find while biking to my friends houses.

False. everyone knows Ramsey jammed through this postseason ban to deflect for dressing like Jose Muchacho. zero evidence anything happened beyond a rogue single employee throwing some parties, and he isnt here anymore so no reason for NCAA or UL to levy any kind of punishment.

Top 5 team in 16-17! King/Mitchell/New 5th Year Guy/Q are gonna be awesome!

We called generic shoes "Dicks" back in the day. Funny story, we where playing ball on Don Parson Court after school one day. The Doolin twins, Kerry and Terry (who where mentally challenged black kids everyone loved) where playing and they had on a pair of fake Chuck Taylors from the DG and one of them had a shoe break in half. Evidently they where made of mostly plastic and broke right in the center of the soles of the shoe. Never forget it, another black guy made fun of him, he snapped, took his belt off and started beating the **** out of the guy across the face, back, anywhere he could hit him. We laughed at the guy getting his *** whipped, not the kid with the broken dicks.
