I would like to think that UL fan's hope for bubble talk about our team have gone out the window after today.

Was not expecting that at all. Really thought we'd go in and **** the bed because that's what we've done this season. Instead, we administered a curb stomping. I like it.

Ulis played his role well today.

Lee

-------->13 Rebs. Now keep the single zero and don't be a puss the next 6 games.

Obviously not saying but saying.... No silly lineups. No micro manage and quick triggers.

-USC ran into a damn buzzsaw. Team is trending the right way. If we can get Marcus Lee back to that, which is his December self, we're really good.

-Just keep winning baby. Other teams will keep losing. Keep working our way up the boards.

Ulis 26/12a 1 TO
Murray 24/5r
Lee 11/13 2 FOULS
Matthews 5 boards
Willis 3-4 from 3

What a performance.

Had no idea what to expect out of UK today, and when Cal was tossed I got worried. Amazing how our guys loosened up and just played ball almost playing to everyone's potential.

Begs for the question given Cal's comments on past teams that toward the end of the season he lets them play more. Does he micromanage too much? And if it works better toward the end of the year to scale back, why not just loosen up earlier?

The team I most remember those kind of comments was 2014 and the run they went on to finish the postseason.

Making Buddy look like a normal person. Forcing him to drive the key. Hopefully he goes superman soon but they're going to have to get him some open looks.

That was fun. Clicking at the right time has as much to do with advancing deep as anything else.

Oh, and POINT GOD. Jesus.

Also a big WTF about our Auburn and UT losses. Just o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O.

I like them not calling a TO but goodness how do you not let Buddy take that shot or even touch the ball?

Impressive win. Way to take the refs completely out of the game. Cats should move up significantly this week, whole lot of teams above us losing, and we beat down 3 straight.

I'm just going to pretend that Ulis is coming back next year. Somehow, some way. Kinda like pretending you have a shot at winning the Powerball. He comes back and he's #1 PG and probably player in the Cal era, easily. Maybe even after this season. He's just so so good. 2016 Ulis Murks 2011 Walker or 2014 Napier.

Notre Dame with a disappointing effort thus far. Get it together Irish.

Brandon Ingram is filthy. What a talent.

Guarantee there are some GMs who will prefer him to Simmons once it's all said & done.

What a shocker. Duke wins again due to a horrific call/no call. Little ***** took 3 steps then landed before getting the shot off. Nothing from the refs. Call either walk, shitbags.

If refs can go to the replay to see if a foot was on the line or if a shot got off in time, why can't they review of a player freaking landed before shooting the ball?

How could one know Bo Ryan had retired if they didn't already? 4 black players on court at same time for Wisky. Glad that program finally got rid of its racist POS coach. Welcome to 1980, Wisconsin.

Avery Johnson looking like a really good hire at this point. Bama is 3-4 wins from a bid and they have no business getting one.

As bad as we've looked at times it's amazing that as I watch other teams I truly believe this team still has a good shot at #9. It's unlikely but it's just hard to believe Ulis/Murray can't lead us there in a similar fashion as some surprise teams in the past 5 years.

It's obvious and overstated but matchups are the key for us.

There were a lot of ridiculous "on to next year" takes floating around what's supposed to be a thread of basketballs.

Not that I didn't stop and think "damn, we may not be that good", of course I did. But in a year like this, with a backcourt like this, it's dumb to put a ceiling on this team...their ceiling may be a title.

Of course, their floor is probably a second round exit. Welcome to college bball in a "meh" year.

Our frontcourt is still shaky as hell. So we are 100% reliant on our guards to perform well. But when they are, look the touch out. I was really proud of our guys to not back down and bring the fight to USCjr even when they were getting chippy. We gotta bring that every game.

That's true but who else is consistent? Seriously KU is losing to Okie State and then beating OU? OU is dropping games, Iowa State for as fun as they are to watch looks like they can barely get up and down the court at times. UNC plays absolutely no defense, Maryland just got waxed at home by a team whose coach said F this and quit. MSU is 10 player.

I like my team!

Nobody... It's wide open... We have a chance as about 20 other teams. When nobody is consistent, it's hard to like anyone to win 6 games in a row.
