Have heard Tony Kimbro took a little over 40 credit hours in his 4 years at UofL. His son, Tony Kimbro Jr. played at J-Town when I was in HS. My buddy who played for Eastern told me Kimbro Jr. asked him during the King of the Bluegrass to read the bracket for him so he knew who they were playing next [laughing]

Irony of their W.W.W. hatred is that they were the school who more than anybody helped to create Wes. The Camden Connection became Wes from his friendship with Milt Wagner, and then encouraged Billy Thompson the next year to go to UofL and then a couple years later, Kevin Walls but after that some sort of falling of out occurred

Most new age UL fans don't even know about the McCray bros and Camden Connection.

For a Top 7 program of all time a solid portion of their fanbase can only go back 15 yrs or so.

I hate Louisville and think their fans are delusional scum for the most part...BUT aren't they known to be a fairly knowledgeable and very passionate group? For their size, they attend well and travel well.

Am I wrong? Obviously, you Lou-villains know them better than I do.

Most Louisville fans under 35 are not knowledgeable and are passionate because the environment that surrounds their athletics mimics a party.

There is however a large, large portion of 45+ year old fans who appreciate good basketball and follow the Cards as well as any number of Kentucky fans.

I believe Art Long and Danny Fortson punched horses back in the 90's and I can only assume they were high on cocaine as well.
Art Long punched a horse. Danny Fortson didn't punch a horse that I know of but he did steal my bar stool one night.

Either way years later I'm on the internet telling tales and literally nobody knows where Danny Fortson is these days so I think I won that one.

Games like ISU losing to TT are why KU wins the B12 every year right? Just a bunch of team that can't win away from home. The B12 ex-KU is really just a rich man's SEC West right? Everybody loses to everybody and nobody can do squat in the tournament. Zero B12 teams (ex KU) in the FF in the last decade plus. Only difference seems to be a slightly better pre-conference performance and the poll voters love them.

Eric Hicks is one of the scariest looking dudes I've ever seen in public. Wonder what penitentiary he's in now.

The most veteran, most talented team that is guaranteed 9 home wins every year wins an overrated conference all the time? Shocking. The only thing that trips UK up is the fact we're very, very young almost every year thus with a huge learning curve AND also had to deal with Billy Donovan.

Big 12 basketball is basically Big 12 football.

Donald Little from Cincy locked a girl in his apartment and burned her with cigs and coat hangers for a weekend...so there's that.

You were saying yesterday how you weren't gay, not that it would matter, remember?

I prefer the sports.

For laughs, I ran him through the FCI's inmate locator. Eric Hicks--DOB 11/27/83--neither currently, or recently, incarcerated. Be safe, 31..

-I'm sure our New Orleans native will agree that Darnell Burton is the face of UC.

I LOVE sports jerseys/unis. Always have. Used to draw/design them when I was little- that and logos.

As usual, BBdK is a little off. It's cool- it takes all kinds.

I'm off that I care much more about sports than uniforms? Some people in here truly do not. :100points:

Dad (no GYERO) went to UC and is a huge Bearcat fan...I've finally gotten him on the UK bandwagon over the years, but UC is still his #1, so I'll go for them as long as they aren't playing UK. I also like Huggins.

Uh, yea. BBdK keeping his bald head in the sand about the relevance of unis in today's sports world was to be expected, though.

Bobby Brannen shot me with a super soaker one time. We were dating sisters at the time.

Me and 90s Bearcats had some real beefs for sure.

He has a point. I actually have well over 21,000 posts on a sports uniforms messageboard. Actual teams/games is a distant second for me.

This is going to come off sounding weird, but the Cincy players all seemed to have the right build for those jerseys For a period of time they appeared to take a bunch of swolled up black dudes, rub some oil on their skin and then throw on those Jumpman fits. Intimidating looking group.

Not a doubt in my mind those dudes were juicing. Look at the time period.

Kansas is also typically a notch above the rest of the teams in the conference. They are an elite team among a batch of 4-10 seeds in recent seasons.

The Big XII's apparent strength lies not in a collection of elite teams at the top, but rather in it's middle. It usually has a high percentage of closely matched teams in the 15-50 range so home court advantage easily compensates for marginal differences in quality.
