Yeah, you get free (one time $300 installation) 5 meg internet just for being within their boundaries. Otherwise is $130 for 1 gig internet and cable with one DVR box.

He's a slam dunk amongst the "good lord he's right, politics is a complete joke!!!" crowd.

Two of my favorites...

On this Iran thing = "that deal was awful. I would have made a deal 1000x better."

On how to convince Mexico to pay for wall across the U.S. Border = "well they're not gonna have a choice. we're going to make them."

lol

Pretty brilliant in its stupidity. Inspires me to want to run for office. This has to be a blast.

BIFF TANNENS ALTERNATE 1985

[Dennis Reynolds]

- UK coming in at #129 in US News and World Report's annual rankings, tied with Arizona State, LSU and Arkansas.

- Speaking of which- who is the most decorated GYEROer? Tough to beat 73's resume. Boat and Dennis are up there, I assume.

Don't think I can come close to 73. Just have my undergrad (UVa) MBA (NYU) and a CFO designation, which is just a professional certification, no school (just 3 hard *** tests). Can't speak to the papermills Boat got his various medical schooling from.

[wcc31]

I can just imagine what the various Asians in Boat's med school classes thought of him.

[Mattox]

I think you can get an MBA now just by taking three Google quizzes to view articles on Forbes.com.

[drxman1]

We had a diverse student body, I'd say the overwhelming majority of my classmates enjoyed my company...but considering I scored in the top 96% of the National Board exam, sure there might have been some jealousy.

[Dennis Reynolds]

Google Fiber would be awesome. Therefore I'm sure the city of Louisville will mess the whole deal up.

Top 96%? Nope, too easy.

Mr. I went to the snooty school in Virginia...at least my Virginia degree has a Final Four in the last 5 years.

[BBdK]

UK is 20K+ per year now for in-state tuition + room/board?

[Dennis Reynolds]

Nothing indicates the quality of a medical program like final fours! Besides UVa has plenty of Final Fours. In lacrosse, soccer, tennis, etc. You know, the important sports. Oh, and baseball. Forgot all about baseball. Is that still a professional sport?

[SAECATFAN]

Puppies to the 'bottom' 4% of drx's med school class. They must really be idiots.

[wcc31]

"Are you a doctor? Because I am."

[laughing]

Learn having your spouse work at a college that gives employees' kids free tuition.

It's really the only way to do it imo

[drxman1]

Haha, you know what I meant.

I kinda look at Undergrad about like where you went to high school these days. Sure some are more prestigious than others, but it just serves to get you to the next stop on the career train. Nothing wrong with UK for college, saved a ton of cash. I'm happy with the quality of the medical training at Michigan State and VCU. Think they are both well respected institutions, good final stamps on the ole resume.

[BBdK]

Am I wrong or was it less than half that when I was in school (15 years ago )?

[wcc31]

[laughing] How had I not noticed before that Boat's avatar is actually a Porsche? I love you, buddy.

[joeyrupption]

If one were, to say, have a baby in April: They could turn the $40/month savings of SlingTV into $15k (@6%) in a 529 by the time the baby enrolled at UK (and tuition will be $75k+)

I'm ALL-IN on making sure my kid doesn't have to go to Louisville. It seems like an epidemic up here in NKY since I've been back.

[BBdK]

B/c you've developed that special talent to ignore/skip over wack posters without even thinking about it?

It's like NHL highlights on SportsCenter. They're there, but there could be a murder on the ice and I wouldn't notice, even if I'm 'looking' at the TV.

[drxman1]

When I was at UK, it was $1800/semester.

[MaxPowerrr]

Am I wrong or was it half that when I was in school (15 years ago )?

It's insane. I was only half kidding about the "find a way for your kids to go to college for free" plan. It's more than doubled the last ten years and is going up another 5%. When I started law school there in 98/99 it was $3,000 a year. Now it's $9,000 just for the tuition.

PTI should start saving now. Probably too late for GYEROrge.

[BBdK]

What's everyone think about Chrisley?

-That sounds about right, Pope. + Room/Board if you had that for a year or two.

Per that link above:

In-state tuition and fees $10,936 (2015-16)
Room and board $11,434 (2015-16)

($22,730) + books and some spending money if you're blessed I guess.

Jesus.

There's another strike against the churrin. That's incredible.

[Ribsandwhitebread]

I would like to go back and calculate my undergrad GPA without including my pledge semester. That was all she wrote for my little KEES money.

[wcc31]

What's everyone think about Chrisley?

Who the hell is that guy? That's the only thing I don't like about Mr. Robot.

[CatManDoo_rivals376463]

Having tweonz is going to suck come tuition time.

[BBdK]

[sick]I don't know, but we watch 'On Demand' on DirecTV, and there is a 30 second USA Promo about every 8-10 minutes, guess that's part of the deal with On Demand with them -- and it's the same one over and over and over. Runs about 3-4 times per episode, at least.

Royal Pains > Playing House > Chrisley

Feel like I know the shows pretty well at this point.

[anthonys735]

The good news is dying is still a relative bargain.

Um false.

[tommyg4uk]

Four episodes into Narcos, two into Mr. Robot. So far, Narcos > Mr. Robot...not even close really. I was hooked on Narcos after the first 30 mins...still getting into Mr. Robot.

[_Chase_]

Why are there a bunch of jets circling Chandler park in owensboro REALLY LOW???

[PuffyNips]

Anyone else surprised Willy hasn't just given up and started wearing Tommy Bahama shirts by now? What an oldass MFer.

Sheeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttt. I've been wearing Tommy Bahama for years.

I officially gave up 6 years ago tomorrow.

Oh, and screw you Adrian. And you too, Chad. :uzi:

[anthonys735]

I don't think so. I'm 2 in on narcs and done with Robot. Granted I like both a lot.

[BBdK]

Mr. Robot is really good, but it's not quite as people are making it out to be. Not yet, at least. I'm 6 deep. I do like it though. The emotional ending last night with him & the psychiatrist was dope.

Bloodline is on another planet, imo. I've watched the entire series twice, and the final 4 episodes probably 5 times apiece.

Also saw where John Leguizamo is on for Season 2 in a lead role as some kind a bad guy affiliated with Danny in the past.

[IsRichieGonnaStart]

Whatdya say, Yen Li, a little *pulls down Oakleys* operational clinic tonight with Surgeon Iceman over some Indian food? *Jaw chomp*

two years of community college + two years of state school + live in mom and dads basement. and get a gd job.

that's how you afford it. oh, or be....

poor

everyone else go to tech school. and get pumped, of course.

[PTI Anon1640710541]

in two+ years of working at a glenview bank, I can't tell you how many times parents came in and emptied their wallets, or leveraged their houses to the hilt to put johnny thru liberal arts yuppy pretentious prep & mary.

who's the parent and who's the child here, people?

[tommyg4uk]

Yep. There's been a big surge in students starting at community college before four-year schools, even if they've been accepted into universities. Our tuition is $72.00/credit hour, less stress, easier to adjust, etc.

----> Transfer to a four-year school and get the exact same degree.

[wildcat1973_rivals160373]

Had tons of military options coming out. Academies, Army and Navy ROTC...my dad said I really didn't have a choice. So that's what I did. And it paid for my undergrad and MBA. Parents did help with law school when the economy improved. But the first 5 years I went to a lot of early morning PTs for that scholarship.
