Parrish already did his blockbuster Skal story and absolutely nothing has come of it since. CoolCat is right - if those bastards could smother the Skal Bandits in their crib, they would. But we haven't heard even a hint of a peep from them.

That excellent reporting is likely built on this other fine piece of journalism...

But there may be more to it than that, as the issues that have surrounded Labissiere throughout his recruitment have not been completely answered. No one that I’ve spoken to knows what the future holds for Labissiere, but the general consensus is that Calipari would not take a kid if he wasn’t going to be eligible. That said, there is enough smoke surrounding Labissiere and his guardian, Gerald Hamilton, that no one would be surprised if he got dinged for something.

One of the major questions for Labissiere is regarding the school he attended as a senior. He transferred out of Memphis Evangelical Christian school and into Lausanne Collegiate School, alsoin Memphis, but was ruled ineligible to play for the basketball team by the state of Tennessee. So Hamilton created a prep school called Reach Your Dreams Prep, which didn’t exist until this winter, for Labissiere to play as a senior.

It wasn’t the smoothest of transfers, to say the least.

Think about it like this: if Calipari was so confident that there would be no issues with Labissiere, would he be working so hard to bring in kids that play the same position as him?

That's some Woodward and f'n Bernstein level reporting and investigating.

I've been to Reach Your Dreams Prep. Nice little plaque on the John Calipari Gym thanking him for his generous donation to the building fund.

Who was the poster who challenged another poster to a duel in a Lexington park a few years back? Hope to see this progress.

GYERO needs BBDK imo.

So if ATT is your carrier in Central Kentucky at the moment you have a very expensive paper weight where your phone used to be.

I and another person in my office have Androids and we're fine. Two others have iPhones, and they have no service. I didn't realize that outages can be model-specific.

What I read was that ATT cellular, landline and data were all experiencing outages. Sounds like they've been hacked, which could explain the fact it's model specific or rather OS specific. I'm a Verizon Android person myself, but the landlines at our office are ATT. They're still working as of five minutes ago.
