Reading that thread about the cop killing the guy in Cincinnati is depressing. As an alleged freedom loving nation we sure have a helluva lot of people quite comfortable in the yoke of a police state. Amazing how accepting so many are of the infallibility of law enforcement.

As a kid, I would go to Louisville with my buddy's family in the summer sometimes.

One summer, I distinctly remember "raw" being a real buzzword with his cousins. We showed up in the thick of it. It was bizzare enough that my buddy and I both picked up on it as ~11 year olds.

I doubt that expression ever made it passed Sparta.
