[BleedBlueCats21]

In a season full of them, that might have been the most quiet 20 point game for Reeves yet.

[wcc31]

If Reed has a steady girlfriend, I’m going to be very disappointed.

[cut_itloosedoubledeuce]

Shepp had 32 pts on 14 shots!

Probably the same one since middle school.

He, Reed and Rob are just bad mofo’s. Just stone cold killers. There isn’t a better 3 guard combo in the country. It’s not even close.

Lol, do what?

They play with three guards some. Do you watch the start of the games? He has started at the 2 all year.

Thank you for your response, but he’s a 3. Everything else you said is correct though.

I really need to settle down.

Took draft kings up on the No Sweat bet and bet the max on the cats figuring worst case the bet is cancelled. Lol

My whole house screamed so loud it woke up the wife who was knocked out on Percocet and weed.

That was their first taste of “March” from me. Didn’t question my alcohol consumption or anything just had a blast with me and slapping g fives etc.

To give you an idea of how special it was 3/4 of my kids are so me they cheer for UL just to piss me off, lol, so the fact they were as excited for BIG BLUE as me and all in with me, I legit…….man that was something!

Wayne isn’t too smart. Just want to make sure you don’t waste too much energy here educating him.

Give us some more analysis about how Reed can’t play vs physical/athletic teams.

[BristolCat_rivals158386]

Yes, I want it Reed style.

[BleedBlueCats21]

Hunter Dickinson went a smooth 6-15 from the charity stripe

[august-west]

Im not usually all in in former players being the coach but I like Mark Pope. The guy is extremely smart, has done well, put his dues in and he would understand the tradition. Im not necessarily sold on Drew but he seems to be the one Mitch is smitten for. Not sure what that says for him, though.

Yep, I like Pope

[Ribsandwhitebread]

[krazykats]

Yep, I like Pope

I mentioned him last year and got roasted. Naturally proving himself another season’s worth is good for him.

That said, when it’s time and seeing how former players do at all schools I’d feel terrible if Pope was hired here eventually.

Just a no win for him, BUT he has that Pitino style in him and at the end of the day too many in my generation appreciate and respect that MOFO so it has a long shot of winning.

At the moment, it wouldn’t be worse than the guy running things!

[PTI Anon1640710541]

If he sprouts to 6'5 and is able to guard someone (cue up Raftery man to man) then maybe he can be an Austin Reaves wannabee. Otherwise, you get to watch Jeff and Stacey on TV next year. Smart, great weak side defender, can shoot when open, but is slow as molasses and gets brutalized by bigger/stronger guards. Prototype D1 AA player....but top 15 is your worst homer take yet.

“Can shoot when open.”

lol

1) That lineup sucks and everybody complains about it
2) We all know our best lineup is when Reeves is the 3

[krazykats]

Or maybe like a Villanova team we have a 3 guard lineup?

This isn’t rocket science Mr Norton Commons.

[PTI Anon1640710541]

Reed
Rob
Reeves
Thiero

Can you imagine being the head coach and not playing those 4 as much as possible?

[thabigbluenation]

Well ya know Cal likes to go with his gut..

Yes, I want it Reed style.

Stolen from Reddit, and it's far from a perfect stat, but Reed Sheppard's +/- on the year is over 300 points better than D.J. on the season. We've played 28 games. He's north of +10 points a game better than D.J. on the season, a guy who many consider a first round lock. I mean, those are absolutely absurd #s.

Reed should have been leading the offense from day one and should only be on the bench in the event he's dead or fouled out.

[UKRob 73]

This Sheppard boy is going to play himself into a starting spot he keeps playing like this

[cawoodsct]

[TCPUKChamps]

For the Wizards next year. Wagner 28 mins tonight. Edwards regressed again, but hopes and dreams.

[Century Cat]

^You really are a miserable *****. You'd rather we lose to preserve your narrative.

You've become too attached to being "right". Let go of your effing ego and enjoy a win for once.

[cut_itloosedoubledeuce]

Just beat Arkansas baby!

[TCPUKChamps]

Nope, the goal is March. What team is the best team in the tournament? If you can honestly say the best version of UK basketball in the NCAA Tournament is DJ Wagner playing 28 minutes per game and Rob Dillingham playing 16 mins a game then I'll let go of my ego.

I'm enjoying the win in the micro. In the macro there's still a lot of issues to get situated. This is 2/27/24. The end game is near.

[rudd1]

-I don't really think you're an *******, bubby... but you're acting like one. Life's short, enjoy the good stuff when it happens.

[TCPUKChamps]

Yea I know I'm a whiny ******* *****. Whatever. Good win

[krazykats]

Foul trouble and 3 really bad TO’s played a role in Dilly’s minutes tonight.

Wagner didn’t play perfect but he isn’t a defensive liability either so whatever. He is going to play, focus on that if you want to because clearly you do want to. But reality is this team can go regardless of who gets what minutes.

Tonight

Dilly 2-7 1-4 9 pts 2 assist 3 fouls
Wagner 3-5 2-4 10pts 4 assists 1 foul

Pretty sure Dilly’s turnovers were a factor too!

If Reed has a steady girlfriend, I’m going to be very disappointed.

He does and they’ve been dating since high school.

[anthonys735]

You don't need need advanced analytics to see it. Just play Reed and Reeves 38 minutes.

That type of performance should send Shep into all the post season award conversations.

Just play your best guys > Just play your best, guys!
