I’m certainly no NFL ball, but WTF with all these Saturday games? Is this normal? I’ve been completely caught off guard the last two weeks

[Hank Camacho_rivals115797]

If UConn played ISIS, I'd be chanting Allahu Ackbar but when they play Pitino -- Go Huskies!

[AIChatGPT]

Eh, I’d like to see Rick make a run as long as UK doesn’t have to play them in the tournament

[VernHatton52]

UConn is the team of the century so far. I always want them to lose.

[krazykats]

If you still have any hatred left for Pitino then god bless ya.

St John’s = old historical NY nostalgia

Pitino = one of the best that happened to help UK, and old NY nostalgia

I’m cheering for him myself, and St John’s.

[BBdK]

[krazykats]

Got the Bills as a pick when they were down 10, and got UConn -8.5 2nd half. UConn was a 12 pt favorite before the game so I’m heavy on that 2nd half line.

[wcc31]

Bring the Johnnies to Rupp. I’m done being pissed at Pitino. Forgiveness is divine.

[august-west]

If Rick had stayed here, and didn’t resort to you know hookers, we would 2-3 more championships. I think he is best overall coach in the game.

[krazykats]

In Lex he didn’t need hookers IIRC, but I do agree he is the best but realize there is an argument otherwise.

[IsRichieGonnaStart]

The most fun years I’ve ever had as a UK fan were the 8 years Pitino was in Lexington. Just a magical time .

He openly admits that his favorite time in coaching was at Kentucky.

[Kooky Kats_anon]

Rick’s teams play hard

The man ruined Louisville and never won a title there.

So does he for 15 seconds.

[august-west]

Rick has either dyed his hair a light shade of brown or he quit dying it black. Either way it doesn’t look normal.

Anyone near our age feels the same, buddy. What a wonderful time to be a Kentucky fan!

Here's a ghost from Christmas past that should provide some chuckles for the regulars of this thread. That 'wayback' archive is pretty handy at times, as the original site shut down:

Any of you whisky guys do an Infinity Bottle? I started one about a year ago, and as long as you don't put an Islay Scotch in it, you can get some good results.

There’s some flagrant **** in there.

BTW- I have never worn a damn hatboggan.

Barrel Craft does out of Artisan Distillery.

Not sure what you mean. What do they do? allow you to mix your own barrell?

I was talking about adding a couple of ounces from select bottles that you purchase, and you continually top it off, so it's never quite the same blend.

I was today years old when I finally learned what WAG means. I was always too afraid to ask.

I do the same thing but with schnapps.

I do not recommend. What an awful idea.

You usually use the last 2-3 oz left in a bottle before it oxidizes and changes….you also use the bottles you pound…

but

Infinity bottles are tough. I did one out of a M10 and a Stagg Jr., unfinished, bourbon adds… sometimes the blend gets irreparable and flat no matter how much good **** you drop in.

[AIChatGPT]

I would like to see Rich Brooks’ reaction when he saw his granddaughter showing her *** cheeks in her rap video.

He is my favorite Twitter follow. What a life.

I add two ounces from a freshly opened bottle, because by the time a bottle is down to a couple of inches, it already has started oxidizing long ago. And I mix bourbon, scotch, irish together (no single malts, especially. like I said, Islay) and I tthink they meld together pretty well.

And I try to keep the infinity bottle 85 percent full, to minimize head space.

- Got the 24-hour stomach flu on Thursday. I mean it’s always the same- awful and debilitating, but has taken me until today to feel somewhat normal. Haven’t even drank, which is ridiculous this time of year. Will make up for it tonight.

- The Cal resurgence combined with the holidays had me thinking about that December 2014 UCLA game. I was 3 weeks into dating my now-wife. Had my dad’s side of the family Christmas that - my dad’s 3 brothers and one sister, all my cousins- all Big Blue fans. Now nine years later, all of Dad’s siblings are gone, 3 in the last 13 months. I’m sitting here with a 3-year old who can’t stop singing jingle bells, pumped as all get out about Santa. Got another little girl coming in < two months. Life comes at you fast.

- My wife and MIL’s annual tradition since she was little is getting their nails done together a day or so before Christmas. This year, they brought my daughter who loved it. Not sure that’s a good thing or not lol

- The good thing about being a Bengals fan is the calloused soul you’ve developed over the years. No-shows like yesterday are never quite unexpected.

- The girl playing Kate in The Crown is .

- Pretty damn cool little kids can get a Shep jersey for Christmas this year and Shep benefits too.

- The NBC Sports nepotism is pretty absurd- maybe the biggest sports property going and the 30-ish sons of Collinsworth and Eagle have prime gigs.

Where?

In typical UK Marketing fashion, on the UK team shop you can only get Hoops NIL jerseys in youth sizes.

Saw some ads in my feeds. Didn’t look at sizes. Did see a picture with some kid with a Shep jersey.

Not that I've found.
