Krazy digging in even deeper on his humblebrag! This guy is fantastic(ly dense).
Reds have claimed Harrison Bader and Hunter Renfroe. No pitching help (yet) but definite upgrades for a lineup that was running TJ Hopkins out there.
Bader has an OPS+ of 75 (average hitter is 100) and Renfroe has a negative WAR this year.
Yeah. And they're both better than who the Reds have been playing with.
Change of scenery, getting out of NY, could help Bader. He at least brings you some speed, glove, occasional pop. Renfroe is kinda what they hoped Myers would be entering the season. He's a solid player.
CLE grabbed Giolito even though they're six games under .500. Ugh.
I only have 16 years of experience to speak of, but - other than their marriage or having a kid - I can’t fathom a more surreal parenting moment than the first time your kid drives you somewhere. My oldest is driving now and is surprisingly competent at it - I don’t know what to make of it.

They are both better than anyone the Reds have now, especially Fairchild and Hopkins. Renfroe is an immediate starter for the rest of the year if Bell has any sense, but he keeps putting a 40% K rate novelty act in the 3 hole, so.....
Renfroe, Friedl and Fraley/Bader isn't a bad OF.

@krazykats yeah Nelson county should be up there. The fact that I used to get buds straight off the plant there in my teenage years so it was pretty loose there.

If you have to explain your cheers they’re already done and not happening. Just how Grove Street happened out of nowhere or Tom Petty at UF (which if you haven’t been to is so cool and if you don’t get a little welled up you have no soul), Grove Street is natural.

Seattle this week babysitting 15 month old for my sister while her nanny is on a honeymoon. Very rewarding but very tiring. Respect to all the parents out there. This 70° weather every day is nice.
