I think REM is on record for absolutely hating their own song (shiny happy people), and that it wasnt a serious recording that was intended to feature on any releases.
Apple TV has old episodes of This Week in Baseball which are amazing. Watched a few from the late 80's in the middle of the night.
Barstool has plenty of fat to trim if they wanted to. Outside of some of their original content guys (Big Cat, KFC, etc) the rest is pretty forgettable. Their college football podcast only gets listens because anything with CFB is going to drive clicks- but its HORRIBLE. Guys breaking out of NY and spreading out, scaling back may be exactly what they wanted. Without reading the deal, I thought that Barstool could get revenue from other gambling sites, but couldnt build their own competing one, but I'll defer to actual lawyers on how that works.
Neighbor down the streets kid (maybe 10 yo) got his dads truck keys and went and started the truck, sat in it and waited on his dad to come out to take them to school. Somehow he knocked the truck, parked on a large, steep hill, in reverse. It traveled down the driveway, across the street and into our other neighbors living room. How nobody was hurt I have no idea. But odd to see a tow truck pulling a Tundra out of a house.
I thought it was pretty common to understand how difficult it is to have success in the bar/restaurant industry?
The Gemstone finale was pretty good- I had no idea how they were going to wrap up such a ridiculous show. Walton Goggins finest work (since Major League: Back to the Minors). I wonder how many takes the helicopter penis scene had to have until they got what they wanted?
