20-9, and four of the reds runs came in garbage time. Wow!

That should make the next 2 a lot more interesting.
Of course, 7 of the Cubs runs came in garbage time as well. Including 5 off of C Luke Maile who took one for the team and pitched in the 7th and 8th innings.

But, the Cubs have the talent to win the division. There is no reason for them to not be able to compete. I expect a 3-way race with the Cubs, Brew Crew and Red Legs.

The Reds need to hold serve until Lodolo and Greene get back and hope they are both healthy enough to make a difference. Or just keep on doing what they've been doing for the last few months without them.

* I've been in the office since 9:30am yesterday. Been going full bore, too. Took a dinner break from 7:30-8:00 last night. Marge just brought me a change of clothes and my shower stuff. I went down to the gym, had a glorious shower and then saw the clothes she brought me... shorts that I never wear because they are horribly designed to inflict pain. They go so far up my ***, I get a proctologist bill after wearing them. But the shirt takes the cake. It would be too tight on wcc circa 2005.

I look like a garter snake that just swallowed a basketball.

I'm uncomfortable, tired, cranky and pissed at the world. But I smell good.

And I appreciate her making a nearly hour round trip to make me look stupid.

-Haida gwaii trip was dope....QCL (the outfitter/lodge) is ridiculous. Staff was attentive, food was very good...gyero fisherman/adventure types need to put it on the bucket list.

^limited out on Halibut, Chinook, coho, chum...caught one small Ling cod.

-travel was thankfully uneventful. Coolest part was the 15 minute ride from Masset Airport to the lodge in a Sikorsky S76...so cool.

-BC is beautiful.

-only had a few hours to spend in Vancouver. Walked around Chinatown/Gastown...the duality was striking: High end shops 1 block or so away from a homeless/junkie encampment...heartbreaking, such is life.

-go cats.

I guess rudd doesn't like his vacations American made, eh?

* This is up there with finding a mysterious sinkhole in one's yard, imo.

If you really wanted to drive someone insane, doing minor and inexplicable things like cementing a 7 foot pole in their driveway on a random Tuesday while they were at work would be a solid way to do it.

* Nice to see a sustained bull market for the first time in a good bit.

I tried to get tickets for Tyler Childers this morning and I guess I am just too frugal because I am not paying over $500 for 2 tickets in the lower bowl of Rupp for anyone. By the time I pay for parking, we go out to eat a couple of meals, gas and hotel since we planned to stay over in Lexington instead of driving home on New Years eve, we would have been out close to a thousand dollars and it just isn't worth it to me.

Concert tickets are insane. Yum wants over $250 for Aerosmith uppers.
I am not paying that. FOH

Damn, when you put it like that it would be more cost effective to rent Brokeback Mountain.

In office today, hit up the head after lunch to take care of business.
Walk in, lights off, flip em on and see shoes from underneath first stall.
What kind of psycho takes a dump in the dark? Discuss.

Maybe he thought if you couldn't see it you couldn't smell it.

I typically like those guys, and the Field of 68, but going ahead with the release of their D+ grade for our offseason was ridiculous. So our work to complete our roster already loaded w/ guards/wings is 1 notch above a complete fail w/ Reeves & Ugo ultimately returning + Mitchell + Euro + a couple warm bodies to fill out practice?

Call it luck if you wish, and I'd probably agree at least partly with you...but what happened, happened. Gimme a break.

Well… Dauster and Clam Chowder Face Goodman said that they recorded their evaluation on UK/Cal before Ivisic committed BUT adding him to the roster wouldn’t have changed their opinions.

They’re just trying too hard at this point.

And in regards to all of this it feels good to see The Faithful re-energized and come after these 2 hobos like a gang of piranhas old school style.

-gyero has individuals that have better knowledge/understanding of subjects than most of these sports journalist douche bags...these guys just happened to choose to do it for a living.

^sportswriter is an antiquated profession. With the info that is at pretty much anyone's fingertips...these cats are obsolete, at best they are aggregators. Which is a good service...but (to their great chagrin) they aren't the gatekeepers any longer, so they stir ****. In short: **** em and feed em grapes.

Maybe someone turned the lights off on ol' boy taking a dump? You probably saved his day. He could wipe efficiently after you came in!

Doing a quarterly RVP business review. Each (3) have 15-20 min to cover their 4-5 markets at a high level.

First RVP gets up and lets each of his Market Directors speak bc he sucks and doesn’t want to be exposed and come off as a dumbass that everyone already knows he is. 3 Market Directors and 30 min later and we are way behind.

Also, f’n hilarious to hear store OPS people say ebitda.

I remembered to log in about 10:02 and there were very limited seats available by the time I got through the queue. I expected after his new video that there would be enough people like @WayneDougan and @80 Proof that are upset that I could find tickets easy but I guess not.
I'm not upset at all. Still love Childers, just not in a fictional coal miner sort of way.

Nationals doing the Lord's work today... 3-2 W over Brewers

It’s truly amazing to see good teams lose a series to teams that have essentially given up.

Look at the Brewers next 4 series and you’d think they have a hardline on the division lead, but then you see how bad they are playing bad teams and wonder how they are even in the thick of it!
