if you told me to guess how old Pee Wee Herman was before today I’d say mid 50’s without hesitation. Can’t believe that dude was 70. This one really made me feel old.
Same.

* The Croatian was getting draft buzz this year. Pretty amazing to add him at this point. It wouldn't have been surprising to see Cal grab some goofy 7 foot grad transfer as a hedge against Ugo being out all year.

Instead we added a 7'2 guy who apparently runs like a deer, has a respectable shot, and clearly isn't a stiff. Couldn't possibly be more excited about a frontcourt of this guy, Bradshaw, and Mitchell. That all but guarantees we will primarily run a 5-out offense.

* There is a nip in the air this morning. Football is nigh. SMD and let's pray.

Haven’t taken the Lexington dining scene seriously ever since they tore down Darryl’s on Nicholasville Rd. They were pioneers in the live edge/raw wood scene.

What a culinary corridor.

O’Charley’s
TGI Friday’s
Tony Roma’s
Chi Chi’s
Buckhead Mountain Grill
Rafferty’s
GD Ritzy’s

RIP. 🥺
My favorite as a kid: El Torito’s on Sunday

Spent the weekend in Michigan. It was great. But on the drive home yesterday I got to thinking and something has been sitting heavy on my heart…

… how are those porn shops on the interstate (Lion’s Den, Adam and Eve) still a thing in 2023 with the Internet? And how was that a thing to begin with? What marketing study was done that concluded that “right off the ramp” was where Americans were inclined to browse for and purchase adult goods? I mean- it obviously worked and seeing those billboards for lingerie and more has become a more ubiquitous sight on our nation’s highways than a Burma Shave sign, but I don’t get it.

Being a trucker is a lonely job, Max.

Probably strong with the "late for a wedding" demographic.

Threw 79 a few years back at a work convention. Elbow was so f’n sore the next day after throwing just 3 pitches.

Would be lucky to throw 60 now if I had to guess.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on abortion? And trans athletes in women’s sports? Does God exist? Who is Matt McClain voting for in the upcoming primary?

Discuss.

Back in '80's, Hojo's (Howard Johnson's) had stand alone rest rooms on I-95 at rest stops. Huge hook up spot for the community. Assume Buc-ees provides same service for the gravy belt.

Pump the brakes on Zvonimir. He's never done this against MLB pitching.

But seriously, we still need Bradshaw back. Dude's game would be the perfect compliment to what we saw in Canada. Rim protector, oop finisher, angry.

Reds 1.5 up on the Brewers, 5 up on the surging Cubs, and 1 up on the wildcard leading Giants. A night playoff game in Cincinnati with the black unis will be frickin electric

-Was finishing up my PT this morning and a former UK player who’s last name might rhyme with a term for urinating came in.

Super nice and friendly, had just finished one on ones with Edwards and some of the team. Said they looked good yada yada, but said Edwards will def be at the 3 this year, he’s a few inches shorter than the player and definitely skinnier… 😬 because that’s skinny.

He did say he’d be a wildcat forever and gave me a fist bump otw out.

-Gym now for chest and then hopefully get some renos done (shower door 🤞) .

Planning on hitting the Trappe and Brian’s food truck this evening if anyone wants to join for a beer and a bite.

Much like I prefer to buy clothes at brick and mortar stores to see how they fit me and if I like the feel I would imagine many people would like to see and feel the anal beads in real life before inserting in their rectum so I can see the lion dens appeal.

Pump the brakes is a stupid saying, and just well, annoying as ****.
Pump the fvcking brakes on saying, "pump the brakes"
Is Moll an upgrade at all? Granted, I don't know much about him, other than looking at his stats, which seem pretty pedestrian.

Any saying that any espn analysts says over and over is awful. I’ve been on this since day 1.

Got the bag.
He’s a problem.
He’s a unicorn.

^theres a bunch more but after cutting cable I haven’t heard them in months and it’s been great.

-Looking forward to a day when I can literally just buy a UK football/basketball only package for tv.

Is there a college FBall/BBall only package that’s out there? I’ll guess no since it’s so many different networks.

That pretty much sums it up perfectly.
I rag on the California voters that keep sending those two functionally illiterate corpses, Waters and Feinstein back to DC, but KY is just as bad re: The Turtle
Somebody needs to take McConnell out to the field and put him down (this in no way should be construed as a threat, or encouraging violence, I'm speaking euphemistically)
