Haven’t taken the Lexington dining scene seriously ever since they tore down Darryl’s on Nicholasville Rd. They were pioneers in the live edge/raw wood scene.

What a culinary corridor.

O’Charley’s
TGI Friday’s
Tony Roma’s
Chi Chi’s
Buckhead Mountain Grill
Rafferty’s
GD Ritzy’s

RIP. 🥺

It's no secret that my personal favorite is Redman. Nobody would put him even in the Top 10, but yeah, he's my favorite. I find him hilarious, and I like the carribean/reggae beats that were popular with that whole crew/Hit Squad

Amazing list.

Applebee's, Outback, and Corky's anchored the south end.

Baseball Reference in general is fantastic.

I do, however, find it hard to compare all-time single season stats now that they added in the old Negro League stats in without a way to filter them. This was a problem with some of the all-time pitching stats too.
  1. Overall, it's kind of a cop out on MLB's part to say, "Oops, sorry we didn't let you play because of your race. How about we make your stats "official"?"
  2. The league itself was really odd. They played about 1/3 the games as the Major Leagues, but some teams would play a full slate of games whereas others would play about half those games.
  3. The comparatively short seasons make single season average-related stats inflated, while overall numbers for things like HRs were lower.
  4. The stats (in general) weren't very complete
This would all be solved if you could just filter out things you don't want to see. For example, it would be great to filter out stats before 1915. Not sure how much I care about Old Hoss Rayburn's pitching stats anyway.

Always felt bad for Richmond Rd. Such a red headed stepson to Nicholasville.

Applebees? Uno’s? Ghetto O’Charleys? That dead end location in front of the old Lexington Mall?

Richmond Rd — the road white people used to go to. #chrisrock

LOL Doggystyle is definitely NOT the best rap album of all-time. And I stand by it: Ice Cube's stuff is world's better than Snoop. "Ice Cube doesn't compare..." absolutely absurd.
Snoop just sounds like Slick Rick on valium. Lethal Injection alone is better than Doggystyle.

Ice for lyrics, Snoop for delivery.

I'm addicted. Today's is wearing me out, though, as I don't believe a 3K hitter has ever played for the Cubs. I know I'm either gonna be pissed when I see it or it's gonna be some Molasses Bentcane from 1903.

Strangely, that was the first box I filled. I crush the stats based boxes and STRUGGLE with players from the AL west.

We had a discussion a couple of days ago here at home... When was the last time you got fast food somewhere and said, "Man, that was really good."
In n' Out and Taco John's is all I got.

Colin Cowgill would be a good one for today.

Another one of UKO’s idiotic takes that doesn’t get quite enough ridicule is Abbott is a 4th or 5th starter at best on a good team

It took a little while to get going but I eventually convinced a couple guys on rupps rafters that KT Turner, wheeler, and Toppin were all in a gang bang together. Amazing where boredom takes you

Lots of baseball and UKO talk. Christ August is gonna be brutal.

Had to go on essentially a blind double date with my wife this weekend. Some work woman she’s met through a zoom meeting some time ago. Feel I’m too old to make new friends, got pretty plastered. Probably won’t be seeing them again!

The amount of new developments and restaurants going up in my area is staggering. Don’t know if I’m in a bubble or this country is just killling it right now or what

Test driving cars with my wife for a vehicle for her and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how much I’ve liked every car salesman.

Tuesdays off - making Mondays and Sundays a million times more enjoyable.
