He just lives a life where he’s convinced if he throws enough **** at a wall something has to stick. Sadly, it’s piled up more than the floor of a Mexican bat cave but he doesn’t realize he’s buried in it. Come to think of it that’s why his lips are permanently attached to Trump’s ***.

Saw them about 8 times, mostly at Bogarts, and one time opening for Tom Petty at Riverbend.

There was one time they played downtown Lexington in a small club (somebody will remember the name), and a crowd gathered outside and watched through the windows in front.

Only act I've seen more is Bob Mould in various incarnations (Husker Du, solo, Sugar, more solo).

I would assume The Dame?

Whatever ESPN does, I just hope they fix their game coverage because it pales in comparison to all its competitors and we are stuck with those jackasses because of the SEC deal. (Thanks for the money though.)

Watched the Reds game at a brewery with some other dads who had also just dropped their people off at TayTay. Right as Steer hit the GW HR, even though he and the rest of the team are terrible, get a text from my daughter if Taylor Swift taking the stage next door. Pretty nice weekend for the ol’ Queen City Area so far.

Strokin- Maine has some excellent whitewater rafting. It is up there tho and may be out of the way. Most of the tours do the Kennenbeck and Penobscot Rivers. Lodging in cabins is available. If memory serves, Penobscot is at start of Appalachian Trail, might be Kennenbeck.

Man, McShay had been there forever. Also guess they're gonna shake up College GameDay in both sports, with LaPhonso and Pollack gone.

McShay had issues, health or otherwise, not a tough choice,
Young’s role diminished, maybe by his choice, through the years, so no surprise.
Jay Williams contract up end of the summer, speculation is he is gone.

- Riverbats tonight with the family. Skies look clear so fireworks after should be great!

- Poker last night was good stuff. Most of the guys are usually not as laid back and really trying to win, but not last night. 4-5 guys had wives out of town and no kids at home so everyone cut loose. I ended up winning, we ended up at Taco Bell, and drinking until about 3am.

- I don’t care much about ESPN layoffs, but I’m glad Todd McShay is gone. Not that Kiper is any better but their tit for tat nonsense over NFL Draft opinions is lame.

- NBA Free Agency was wild and all done within 2 hours it felt. Perfectly timed for the TV show too. What a coincidence!?!

Fred Van Fleet got 130M for 3 years! That’s just insane.

- You all laugh at my fascination around Death Row/Tupac etc. but here is a fantastic interview done this year with Un, who was Biggie’s business partner. You think things were convoluted with that entanglement you should really look at Biggie’s and Bad Boy situation.

Is Corso really loved by everyone though?

Also- do the powers that be at ESPN take into account the percentage of ratings numbers attributed to “gym TVs set to ESPN and then they lost the remote years ago so Pardon the Interruption is on no matter what” because that has to be a SIGNIFICANT share of those viewership numbers.

I don’t think they take Nielsen ratings from gyms and bars but idk.

I always enjoyed shutting someone down when they were like, “Hey can you put (pick your news channel) on?

“Ummm no. The sound isn’t even in how are you going to hear it? Why would you want to watch the news while you’re out with your friends and why would we ever put the news on in particular? You think we’re in the business of possibly pissing off 1/2 the people in the bar?”

The Knicks are so weird! They sign Jacob Toppin as an UDFA and then trade his brother to the Pacers.

I’m sure that doesn’t make anything weird for anyone, at all.

I’m sure they aren’t expecting Jacob to be around long so what do they care. Plus why would they GAF what an UDFA thinks anyway.

Twitter is the lifeblood of college recruiting and 05 is in the midst of it right now so I hope they get it fixed soon. Not sure what Elon is trying to do here other than monetize it - which is probably the answer.

—I haven’t had a drink since December of last year. Tonight I have the place to myself and a bottle of Basil Hayden that I’ve had sitting around for about 14 months. Enjoy your fancy Vodkas and Tequilas all you want. I don’t care if it is the 1st of July, a triple finger pour and a single ice cube really hit the spot.

—the “Supreme Court Decision” thread went about they way you would expect. Even if I contributed to it. I should know better.

—Heading to Lexington next week to bring the little lass to her 4H State Speech Competition. Looking forward to taking her to the Tolly-Ho for her first visit. I hope they still do the “Ho Virgin” thing. I will make sure and video it, her mother will be not impressed. Eh, part of life.

—Apparently I have a “strained” Achilles’ tendon. Damn thing not only hurts my heel and Achilles but now has screwed up my knee. Getting old is fun.

—As El Presidente said “**** Jacks”….but I have a Pepperoni Jack’s in the oven now. Doctored it up with some Basil, garlic powder, onion powder, onion, green pepper, red pepper flakes and green olives….will put some EVOO on it after I take it out of the oven. Otherwise that **** just runs off and burns in the bottom of the oven. Probably should have just left it as is.

—Couldn’t tell you one Taylor Swift song but I do know EDC on the Reds. Advantage Reds, even if I can’t stand em. Goes back to my first roommate in college, in Haggin Hall. Ole boy was from Highlands and we were as different as night and day. To this day I hope he chokes on a pimento cheese sandwich.

Check in from T Swift:
  • If you’re a single heterosexual male here and can’t get laid, then hand in you dick.
  • I’m no Taylor Swift aficionado but that woman played for 195 minutes straight and not one of her songs sucked. And when you compare that to many other artists it’s just astounding.
  • People were crying (from joy), hugging, laughing, dancing, going bonkers… it’s pretty cool to see live.
  • Is there a better gig than being a backup dancer for T Swift? You get 80% of her experience (being in front of 80K people screaming for you) for probably 1/50,000 of the money, but can you really put a price on that experience? Plus, all of them were normal looking people because Swift likely doesn’t want her dancers being better looking than she is.
  • Always good to visit Paycor and have the men’s room pretty much to yourself, but several folks who likely identify as women were pretty quick to jump back into using the men’s room given the long lines of their preferred pronoun restroom. Savvy move in my opinion.
  • My Major League Baseball app worked great with the Paycor wifi - allowed me to watch the end of the Braves game while the opening acts were on.
  • And now for what everybody like @IsRichieGonnaStart came for: Taylor Swift looked hot. Especially when she did this sexy chair dance cabaret thing. That said, she’s not an absolute knockout. But her talent transcends that anyway.

My “little sister” she’s 26 from the gym was up there and texted me half way through:

“I’ve cried 4 times”
“This is the best experience of my life”

And at 26, it very damn well could. Couldn’t have been happier for her.

And for the Anti-Swiftites, at least the is the last day you deal with this talk lol.
