I've heard with current Kentucky statutes, all you have to do to avoid a DUI is decline a breathalyzer and get a decent attorney.

Im not a legal expert so I can't confirm, and I'm also pretty adamant about not driving after more than a couple of adult beverages these days.

Happy Taylor Swift Week to all who celebrate!

My favorite TayTay song? Probably “Our Song” because she lets a Philly accent slip in when she sings “on the phooone”.

(yes I have a teenage daughter why do you ask?)
-Death By A Thousand Cuts (Live from Paris) for this guy. **** hits hard and you can feel the pain. And the fact that 100,000 frenchies are singing the whole thing in English is damn impressive.

- @80 Proof as far as DUIs go, I think you can get out of it as you said but they pull your license for a year for refusing I’m pretty positive, but better than a DUI if you can still get to work and whatnot. First DUI you just lose license for 3 months.

Y’all need to stop frontin’ on Taylor Swift fandom. Here’s a true top 5.

“all too well (10 minutes, taylor’s version, from the vault)” from the album “Red (Taylor’s Version)” - the second album she owned

“clean” is one of my personal favorites from her first pop album, “1989”

“cruel summer” it’s a song from an album that is 4 years old but she just now made it a single because of record breaking amount of streams lately

“long live” is an old song from her 3rd album, she wrote it as a thank you to her fans. kinda like her “i made it” song

“marjorie” is a newer song about her dead grandmother and how she always wanted to become a famous singer but passed away too soon. and taylor even uses some of her old vocals in the song

All the reals know ^^this.

* Big DUI scuttlebutt in New Orleans a couple weeks ago. Congressman Cedric Richmond was involved in a single vehicle accident, was reported to have slurred speech, but was not even tested for DUI. Mayor was so upset she set up a DUI checkpoint 2 weeks later at a publicly announced time and location.

Local paper uncovered that the police basically quit arresting people for DUI -- only 69 arrests all of last year.

link: great place to drink and drive

* Heading home from a hugely disappointing weekend. It took me 8 years to get into the Western States 100, but I never felt quite right being there. Just not in great shape. Didn't have the time and focus to train like I needed to. The race and course were absolutely amazing, but I started off way to slow. The very first 3.5 miles is straight up the mountain in Olympic Valley/Tahoe, then you come across the other side and go straight back down. Unfortunately that part was completely covered in snow, so despite being all downhill, it was extremely slow. Literally have freezer burn on my *** from all the times I had to sit and slide downhill in the snow. Dug myself into a hole time wise and couldn't get out, then missed the cutoff at mile 30.

I had dreams of running around the track in Auburn, and crossing the finish line to be handed a big bronze belt buckle and a Chase Sapphire Preferred Platinum Card with 75,000 extra bonus miles, but it wasn't to be.

An incredible experience, and I'll start working on building the resume to make it back again.

* Why is this guy such a f'ing loser?

Go get em, buddy! You show that Charlie Goldsmith who's boss!

* Something I've learned as I've entered my mid-40s as an elite athlete ( 🙄 🙄 ) --> I can run 60 miles a week, which I was doing, and my overall fitness level will DECREASE. If I don't have HIIT/boot camp/CrossFit style workouts in there 2-3 times/week, I just slowly turn skinnyfat.

* Another huge disappointment: we're skipping Yosemite National Park and heading home 2 days early. Just have too much to do once we return, and then head back out West again on Saturday to spend July/August in Colorado. This trip did NOT go as planned. Ugh.

* Some random thoughts on how to get the most out of this Reds team.....

- put some of the odd men out on the trading block (Stephenson, Barrero, Senzel) to get anything at all in return
- rework the starting rotation. use openers, only give starters 1-2 turns thru the order.
- do NOT mortgage the future. maybe add a bullpen arm or two.
- be patient. 2024 is the year we go to the World Series. 2023 is just lagniappe, as they say down here in nawlins.

* Just ready to be home, where I've got my new pup and The Real Anthony Fauci (hardcover, of course) waiting on me.

-You can also avoid DUI by getting an Uber. I have no sympathy for drunk driving these days. What a f*cking dumbass.

-Great series with the Braves, they're obviously on a different level, but we're coming. These guys just don't quit. Get our pitchers healthy and pick up a few other arms.

-WCC going old school on a Sunday, was that all thumb typed? Geez.

-TDF Week. LFG. Unchained on Netflix will get you ready for the race.

-RFKJr is f*cking yoked.

-NYC cracking down on the pizza joints use of wood fired ovens. Lol. That's gonna solve climate change.

According to my sources, WVU hired a driver for Huggins back when they hired him for the job (similar to what UK did for Billy G and Calipari?)

After the radio interview debacle, WVU pulled the driver from Huggins and let him “hang himself” so to speak. They knew it would be just a matter of time.

Strokin..

The reals also know if they were single and given the chance with those tall T Swift stems they wouldn’t think twice.

But then again this is GYERO and we have a HOF poster who claims she’s not worthy but that same man took down something off Broadway back in 06 that looked like John Chavis, the former UT D Coordinator.

Definitely worth putting other driver's lives at risk to justify firing a college basketball coach. Well played here, WVU.

While in college, my wife's roommate went on a blind date with this dude. He picked her up on a Thursday night and they were heading out to Merrick Inn for dinner. He did some minor traffic violation and got pulled over out Tate's Creek. He looked at her and said, "I've got some bad news. I just got my 3rd DUI, I'm driving without a license, and I'm going to get arrested again." He went to jail and my wife's roommate got to have a nice 2+ mile walk back to the Theta house. Uber would have prevented both of those situations. We were born too early.

Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss walked into a restaurant I was eating at in Nashville once. KK was absolute smoke. Never thought of her as a top babe, but seeing her in the wild... shew boy. Supermodels are supermodels for a reason.

Reds can't maintain this without some pitching upgrades. Feels like they've been running on pure adrenaline. Baseball season is long. Shore up the staff and make an October run.

Judy Gemstone and Baby Billy are perfect characters played by the perfect actors.

Couple of lonestar ticks on me last week. Any of you ever go for a stroll in the woods at Jefferson Memorial Forest, make sure to check thoroughly. Place is overrun with em. Black racers, too. Nothing more startling than nearly stepping on one of those bastards and hearing/feeling it dart off. Fast as hell.

-It’s just runners body PTI, it’s gross but it’s what you signed up for.

-Dealing with the govt for all dad’s stuff is a joke. Been at it for a month, still don’t have an attorney in BG/Allen County, call this person who says no call this person who says no call this person… on and on. Touching ridiculous.

-My hammies are trashed from my workout Friday and maybe because I pinned my TRT in them for the first time just to try it, not sure which is more to blame.

-Not having cable has actually been awesome. TV isn’t on unless it’s night and I’m settling in for a bit. Used to be on first thing in the morning and throughout the day for background noise.

Now it’s music or a pod.

-Should finally get water back at the house after 3 days without, what a pain.

-Gym buddy said Richmond got throttled from that storm last night. He showed me a pic of his house and car which look like there was a gun fight from the hail.

Said all the gas stations were closed due to damage and all the tents with fireworks were likely a total loss. Fireworks scattered everywhere on the ground and soaking wet, some people are going to lose a few hundred thousand because of that.

-Same dude is super nice, former vet and police officer now. He’s recruited me to help him work with underprivileged kids in Richmond teaching them how to wrestle. Headed there tonight as long as the plumbers done but it should be an awesome experience.

We have a game in 17 days who we rolling out for the first tip?

Wagner
Reeves
Edwards
Mitchell
Ugonna (if he’s allowed?)

If Bradshaw is playing slide him in for Ugonna and pretend Mitchell is playing the 5.

Also, after years of terrible gone non-conf schedules it’s looking like we’re going to be playing Gonzaga and Duke at home this year.

NYC coal/brick oven shutdown mandate is absurd. The restaurant owners will more than likely be fined for continued operation… which exposes the real motivation… it’s a money grab. Meter maids still writing up parking tickets as they have to hurdle over half-dead homeless people to reach the windshield. This ******** shuts down Arturo’s - I’m out. The line in the sand.

Just left a downtown meeting on Whitehall St. The place is still a ghost town. Infinite floors of empty buildings and the city is concerned with clamping down on pizza?!??

I always thought buzzed driving in New Orleans was a local sport… guess I was wrong. My buddy lied to me.

Dr Hotez is the tipping point. Someone is gonna sue that dude.

Lavender martinis were a hit with wife and friends. Highly recommend.

So our new adorable Hoosier honk Hart has hops? Noice!
