America's team?

Ha!
You wish. No matter how much you despise them and their fans, that title belongs to the Cubs. Our colors are even the same as the American flag.

The Reds are doing great, but don't start going overboard.

If ANY baseball team has legitimate claim to America's team it's the Cardinals. Because until the defection of the Dodgers and Giants to the West Coast, the Cardinals were the only game in town west of Missouri.

The Washington Wizards are a perfect example of a team that is going no where and honestly has been garbage for 40 of my 43 years of living.

Trading Bradley Beal for Chris Paul, Landry Shamet(most valuable piece) and several 2nd round picks.

No number 1 picks, and no true young promising talent at all. Hopefully they don’t have to cut Paul and can trade him to get a little more out of the deal.

- That said, if Durant can’t win with Booker, Beal and Ayton he’d have to be remembered as one of the worst best players ever. At this point what has to be put around him to win is almost as embarrassing as Lebron.

- This weather has been amazing! Now it’s time to catch up finally with a little slow down from this rain for a week straight.

- My older two are really taking to fishing. I can’t stand on the side of a pond or lake all morning/night anymore so I guess it is time to buy a boat. I’m sure this will end up with me buying a lot at the lake too.

- First week of apprenticeship for my nephew and he now realizes why my advice “I’d enjoy being a kid while you’re a kid” was real. 6:15am-5pm Monday through Friday and 7am-3pm Saturday. That’s an adult life and he legit has no life after 1 week in with 4 and half years to go.

- Hornitos for $20 or Tres Agave for $30 are great Reposado tequila.

- Watched my kids swim and played basketball with them off and on all day yesterday. Then hit up my favorite hibachi/sushi in Louisville at Misawa. The wife’s whole family went and tried mostly everything except the raw fish.

That’s about as good of a fathers day as I could hope for.

-US Open wasn't great. The course looked kinda cool from the very ****** coverage. The galleries were just embarrassing. The first day surrendered 2 epic low score records that were over 100 years old. The setup was meh. The final round was pretty boring considering the names on the leaderboard. That was about as far from a good US Open as you can get... and not surprising coming from LA Elites. The whole thing has rightfully been roasted all weekend.

-Redlegs.

-Look... fine, you're a real Cubs fan, congrats. Don't give me this "America's Team" ********, though.

-Feel the same about the Cards. Growing up going to Redbird games with my grandpa we'd get to know their players. Plus, as Ursch said, they're a helluva franchise. Nothing but 'spect.

-Nice, easy, relaxing day with the family. That's a really nice Father's Day.

-Looks like we're finally getting Spring.

-You can't drink bourbon during the summer... lolz. What a dumbass take. Yeah, I'm not slugging olfo hundo while lounging on the beach or playing golf in 95 degree heat. But a dram after dinner still hits the spot just the same as it does mid-winter.

I enjoyed LACC, the course, but the rest of it was a total fail imo, at least for a US Open. 1st day was a joke, but 3 full rounds later -10 held up. Atmosphere, lack of fans, setup, pace of play was just plain bad. NBC's sound guy Sunday should be fired...how can you not filter that damn airplane out?

-Feel like those saying Bourbon isn't a "summer" drink are referring just in general: to patios, outside, water, and general summer activity drinking. I'm not leaning brown on any of those occasions, but Still drinking Bourbon at a nice dinner, indoor cocktail spot, etc. Definitely not a GD Vegas pool deck. Jfc

-Need Cal to give his good buddy Huggy a call and get us Edwards, or at least a courtesy body.

Why would anybody pay $$$ to do this? Big fan of Titanic lore but...nope to going to see the wreckage in person.

Might make a nice Father’s Day gift for some though.

I had to go to the hospital in Charlotte this morning for a family member's surgery. It’s in the same center as the Children’s Cancer center. To get to the drop off area for the children's cancer center, you drive past a big sign that says “Funeral Pickup Left”. So a parent, before he or she gets to the drop off area or parking, sees that ****. Unreal.

Rogue, they’re growing 4 times as much as the dispensaries are selling because no one’s dumb enough to pay the high prices. They have to sell it somewhere since they’re not going to just throw it away. Simple supply vs. demand. Just gonna leave it at that.

- A local cop told me last week that agents recently seized a shipment of fentanyl pills that weighed in at several hundred pounds. Even though I take this with an eighth or so of salt...yeah, don't buy anything off the street, y'all. I also read an ER doc warning people there's something dealers are adding to fentanyl to prolong its effects that makes Narcan less effective, or completely ineffective. Again, not sure if that's true, but that would be pretty horrific if it is. I do know fentanyl is cheap as dirt, a little goes a LONG way, and as I understand it, it's a pretty ****** high unless it was administered by a medical professional in a controlled, prescribed dosage. In a medical setting it absolutely has legit uses, but it's so cheap it's replacing everything else on the street. Apparently the Taliban shut down a lot of opium production when they retook Afghanistan, and real heroin has gotten difficult to find.

Semi-related, one of my partners discovered the remnants of a meth cook in the woods on his property. In addition to the empty packages of Sudafed, empty case of Coke, and a dozen Reese's cups wrappers, he found one used condom, a used tampon, and a pile of human poop, all in a 4 foot radius. Meth: the Klassy Man's Drug of Choice!

A deponent also testified a couple weeks ago he's smoking an eighth of medical MJ A DAY for pain control. AN EIGHTH A DAY.

- I couldn't have picked him out of a lineup before this weekend, but Wyndham Clark's reaction to winning the US Open is enough to make anyone a little verklempt. (Garbage NBC coverage notwithstanding.)

My favorite thing to do with NBC golf is to listen to the announcer who kinda sounds like Jim Nantz if you squint, and then imagine Nantz saying the things this guy says. For instance, "gnarly."

- Finished rewatching Sons of Anarchy this weekend. My memory was fortunately wrong - I was very frustrated with the direction of the last couple seasons when it aired, but it held together a helluva lot better than I thought. Gemma is still the biggest c-word who's ever been on television, though, including Cersei Lannister. And I don't know how Walton Goggins can sell Boyd Crowder and the amazing rack of Venus Van Damme, but here we are.

- Rainy Monday 5:

Ghost - Hanging Around
Pat Metheny - Ole & Gard
Donald Fagen - New Frontier
Nine Inch Nails - Ringfinger
The Cranberries - No Need to Argue

The investigation into this messy incident should start with two questions...

1) How close do they live to Redass?

2) Was BBdK visiting Redass on the date in question?

Btodd if randy down the street is hooking you up that’s awesome. Most people in Lexington aren’t getting $100 oz of medicinal 💨, in fact I would say no one is. Out in the country like you and @ThroughBlue are yeah I could see it, but I promise you there’s no one in the city selling $100 zips of good good.

At the dispensary in Florida if you get ground flower you can get an oz for anywhere from 160-200 but more for buds.

This is from the STREETS though bro, I’m clubbin dudes on krokodil and hookers on bath salts just to get to my guy.

I’m used to taking a ten milly gummy before bed. Got gummies from my dude and looked at the bag and these are 62.5mgs per square 😂 ummmm okay, guess I’ll take a corner tonight and hope I wake up.

Well I’ve tried basically everything but heroin so that may explain it. Haven’t done anything but a few bumps in KW years ago besides the aforementioned from the earth ones. Uppers are awful to me, I already GOOOOOOOOO like Calipari was my life coach on regular days anyway I don’t need more energy.

And the feeling is mutual bubby, I want to keep doing the ones I do so I don’t end up like the life of regular average American dude.

Street is about 220 to 240 for an onion of headies, all buds (220 is on the low end; frequent flyers etc. Anything less than that is 10 a gram usually (unless you're buying a teen, which is stupid and probably 15 a gram)

Like I said earlier. For pure fun, you can't beat acid with a stick. Good luck finding any good though. It's a dying art.
Quaaludes were fun too, but they were banned before most of you were born.

You can get 16 of the Clowns onions for 6-800 or 400 if it’s ground up. Have an acquaintance that goes to Michigan and gets it from the dispensary for less than 2 bills. That was before the glut and now it’s a buck and a quarter. If you look a little closer you’ll find the medical for what I’m saying but you have to actually try. It’s quite easy if you’re in a state that borders one where it’s legal that isn’t called Illinois.

/End of giving out info.

Eff taking a chance on fentanyl. Know too many people that have lost loved ones to that crap.

The problem with fentanyl is its potency. I administer it probably 15-20 times a day on average, but almost never more than 25-50 micrograms at a time. Medical fentanyl is super watered down to where 50mcg = 1cc in solution, but the drug portion within that 1cc is basically microscopic. When someone is caught with a kilogram of fentanyl… that’s literally 20 million times more than I’m giving the average patient. That kilogram would provide enough for several years’ worth of patients at an average hospital for all their surgeries. It’s also reportedly a crappy high by itself. It’s very good for treating pain and is what almost everyone receives for every surgery. In the right hands, lab tested and properly diluted, it’s quite safe. Super dangerous in any other setting.

No idea how true it is now, but 10 years ago we learned that drug dealers were mixing fentanyl into heroin bc it’s so much cheaper (due to the potency). Users wouldn’t necessarily “feel” more of a high/euphoria, in fact less.. but when word spreads that a certain batch causes people to overdose and possibly die more than other batches, most addicts just hear “wow that must be some good ish” and despite it being more deadly, dealers sell it better.

Great that the first time I pop into gyero in ages, it’s fentanyl talk. ✌️

Is fentanyl really easy to make? Is this stuff being cooked up in secret labs?

If such a small bit goes a long way then maybe the pharmaceutical companies need to cut production a whole lot. I bet it isn’t even something they make a **** ton on.

Some generic drugs cost less than a bag of chips these days.

All fentanyl is synthetic. I don’t know how hard it is to make, but I’m certain it’s dirt cheap due to the tiniest quantity going a long way. Maybe drug companies are part of the problem but they only package and ship it in aforementioned diluted quantities. I’d say it’s more of a breaking bad type situation where a couple rogue chemists can churn out/divert massive, population-killing quantities with relative ease.

-It’s damn near impossible to buy anything on Amazon without it being from china (that’s right I didn’t capitalize those hookers’ country, take THAT!).

Today I just wanted a second nail clipper kit so I have one in my gym/travel bag and one in the bathroom. Couldn’t find one that wasn’t chinese.

onion = an ounce
headies = high grade weed
teen = 1/16th ounce (a little under 2 grams)

Quaaludes - methaqualone tablet - Lemmon 714/Rorer 714 - downer, tranquilizer/hypnotic: "stumble biscuits" "disco biscuits" "sopers" "wagon wheels" banned in 1985

Speaking of Quaaludes, which I also have heard of, the ‘lude scene in Cheech & Chong “Up in Smoke” is one of my favorites
