GYERO ARCHIVE

Good grief. What a f’ing disaster

Our best chance today is Reeves flushing about 7 threes.

[MrKentucky]

Wallace
Reeves
Livingston
Collins
Oscar

Lmao. Why not I guess.

[Hank Camacho_rivals115797]

Wallace
Reeves
Livingston
Collins
Oscar

Lmao. Why not I guess.

And Oscar is somehow the weakest link.

[HymanKaplan_rivals48997]

Now would be a good time to rest Reeves.

[august-west]

10 seconds before it happened:

my text: “Gonna be awesome when Wallace picks up #2 and has to sit the rest of the half.”

Go Cats!!!

Looks like Cal is going to let him play. Whether it’s because he has no choice because of injuries or because we can’t afford to lose a noon game at Georgia is anyone’s guess

[legalbeagle123]

Now would be a good time to rest Reeves.

Need him to be fresh for NIT.

[anthonys735]

False. Livingston is brutal.

[MrKentucky]

I actually don’t mind Thiero + Collins on the court together with Calipari as your coach.

He’s going to do what he’s going to do - so you may as well play a lineup where you can play how he wants, and something like Wallace/Thiero/Reeves/Toppin/collins gives you a rim runner for lobs, length to challenge shots on D, and Reeves to stand in the corner.

[bradyjames_rivals]

Cal f’n starts CJ over Reeves. He’s a f’n idiot. I’ve said it for two full year, as have many, with any GD sense.

[It'saDoneDeal]

Friendly reminder Antonio Reeves is fifth on this team in minutes per game, just a smidge above sixth.

Any coach with a pulse would have been starting and leaning on this dude all year.

[gattongrad09]

Give me a kid who fights like thiero all day. Needs to learn the Carruth bark and he is trending #1 for me.

[MrKentucky]

Reeves catches fire and we just completely quit looking for him and trying to use him to stress the defense. I hate this f*cking guy

[SWFLwildcat06]

Livingston with a contested 3. JC

[Ron Mehico]

God we’re awful

[legalbeagle123]

Cal will bank another $25,000 today.

BREAKING: CJ Frederick

[MattsCats_rivals45322]

Okay, this has been just a big "F*** YOU ALL, Kentucky," since April 2015 from Cal, right?

[catfan in loserville]

Does any other team put more pressure on itself than a Calipari team?

Seems like we always start with a double digit deficit, before we wake up.

These guys are so tight, they can’t get anything close to an offense going.

This isn’t on Cal. These guys act like they’ve never played basketball on some plays.

These guys are taking the worst shot possible on most possessions. We need Wheeler more than most would like to admit.

Livingston just isn’t it on offense. We have to have him In because of his defense and rebounding, but in offense, it’s 4 on 5, making Oscar an easy double, because Livingston is shooting that 23 footer.

Hopefully Wallace can right this ship in the 2nd half.

Tough 2s

UK - 1/14
UGA - 7/7

[It'saDoneDeal]

Toppin with another jump shot

[cut_itloosedoubledeuce]

We look ancient

[august-west]

We are fixing to give up 40pts in one half of basketball to a pretty bad Georgia team. Everybody wants to lament our pitiful offense but we are absolutely awful on D. That is why aren’t able to come back from most deficits.

[Hank Camacho_rivals115797]

We are going to get run out of historic Stegeman Coliseum while our pregnant coach does jack ****.

[HymanKaplan_rivals48997]

I'm going to assume this is sarcasm.

does anyone know what Joe Lunardi thinks about our tournament chances if we lose today? (rolleyes)

[MrKentucky]

What a f—ing joke of a basketball program. Losers.

[august-west]

This is absolutely on Cal.

[gattongrad09]

2nd half of arky broke me. No energy for anger. Going to start handicapping tampa bay downs. Eff this.

[80 Proof]

I hate my team.

[MrKentucky]

We’re about to miss our 2nd tournament in 3 years, and his 3rd in 14 seasons. Plus another year as an 8 seed and the worst tourney loss in program history.

And there’s NO question of firing him and no sense of urgency from anybody, he flips the bird to any accountability.

F*ck Barnhart. What the hell is going on down at the Joe Craft Center?

[Ron Mehico]

Forgot about the game, watched the first half at the god awful rum bar in Charlotte airport (no calorie count) and just boarded the flight to Turks and Caicos. Can’t imagine a better time to lose internet and stop watching, coinciding with me losing interest in this dog **** bball program.

[BBdK]

We’re not even playing “bad” we’re just playing normal + short handed (also normal, for years now)

We just stink. Period.

[bradyjames_rivals]

After 7 years, I’m surprised some of us are still surprised. He has had a massive amount of bought and paid for talent for 14 years. And still can’t win.

He coaches like his little pet CJ plays. If some of you think these other coaches can’t do better with several million a year to fill out a roster you’re mistaken.

[HymanKaplan_rivals48997]

John Calipari - A victim of circumstance...

[SWFLwildcat06]

It’s ridiculous to not try some zone against their quick guards.

We’re still looking at least 3-4 more losses after this one. UT, Aub, @ Miss St and Ark.

2nd week of February and the season is already lost. F’ing unbelievable.

Imagine if Kansas came back in 2012 Championship game when Cal started playing not to lose late in the game. He almost choked that one away too.

[MaxPowerrr]

this program has been trash since we partnered with Hunt Brothers truck stop pizza

We are staring down the barrel of 5 years without a tournament win.

[Kooky Kats_anon]

This game deserves Rich Hollenberg on the mic.

Joe Lunardi says if we lose we’re out of the tourney…

We all made fun of Self saying they just ran out of time, but there was a kernel of truth there.

[MrKentucky]

9 combined fouls in 7 mins. Going for a different type of unwatchable this half, I see.
