I’d love to see kelvin sampson get a chance to cheat at the highest level - that bastard would win at all costs and is hungry for a title.
Try to imagine how bad it must be if you are a 10-12 year old kid that has no perspective on real life and only knows UK basketball. Honestly they don’t even know what the good times were really like.
Our 7 year old doesn’t remember an NCAA tournament win. And he’s all football. About to attend his 6th bowl game and his record stands at 4-1.
My kids don’t give a **** about college sports at all. They have concluded, probably correctly, that pro sports are much better.
It was about Louisville Volleyball, and included an F-bomb with an invitation for that fanbase to have a worse night than we had.
UK played UCLA in Madison Square Garden. The game started while I drove back from a HS game in Louisville. Nobody in the car wanted to listen to the start of the game on the radio. Got home and got dressed to go to a Christmas party. Didn’t care I was missing the game. Stopped by a bar before the party that had the game on TV as UK was making a run. Didn’t mind at all leaving to go to the party. Only occasionally checked the score on my phone while at the party. Wasn’t even upset at the final score.

Oh I’m sure we will limp into the NCAA’s, after looking like we are coming together, with an 8-9 seed, see our bracket open up and then

Why would ANY recruit want to play for his stupid condescending ***? It’s been proven over and over that dudes who struggle to find their way with him acting like a lunatic on the sideline suddenly blossom once they arrive in the NBA. Guess CJ and Reeves forgot how to score for no reason once landing in Lexington? Enough of the excuses and blowing smoke up our asses. Either start running a modern offense or GTFO.

In the 90s if you showed up at Rupp you just knew we were smoking you. I hate that’s changed. Hell bellarmine thinks they can win, UT, USC, UF UA think they can win. It was a forgone conclusion you were losing. We have to be back to that. This is a complete joke.
Just like most sporting events, the most aggressive team usually wins and Argentina has been the most aggressive thus far.

I think five conference losses is being pretty generous. Six games against ranked opponents and if we snatch one away, this team screams dropping a couple more that they shouldn't. 11-7 in conference play plus a loss to Kansas and that's provided they don't play worse. But based on the past 6 years his teams peak in January and start to rapidly regress, so who knows how bad it can get.
I’ve always been on Cals side but I’m out. This is crap. He came here running people out of the gym. Now we barely win if we win. Take your squad this year and next then please ride off on a horse before you completely tarnish your name in Kentucky.
Best case scenario, Cal has some sort of mini revival with the super class next season (not holding my breath) and then rides off into the sunset. Dude is totally washed. Time to gtfo.

My apathy won’t allow for a lengthy rant but the biggest takeaway I have is that this guy gets paid 8 mil with a lifetime contract and every game now is 40 minutes of manic confusion.

Cal is the type of person who will NEVER change his philosophy after others have recognized the need. If he didn’t think of it first, he’s not going to relent. At least, not from UK fans.
He’s also the type to recognize that things aren’t working and will take another job (and his recruiting class) to reboot his philosophy. He’ll also publicly frame it as him hitting the max time allowed by the crazy UK fans before they turn on you.
