We traveled to Bullitt East my senior year. A whole lotta Kid Rock played that night in September 1999.
51-7, though. Nice stadium iirc.
-Dumb and Dumber is my favorite comedy of all time.

You're out of your element, Donnie.
That's easily the most quotable / rewatchable comedy ever made. The South Park movie is second.
@wcc31 a few of the trainers that work for me are still in school at UK. They said the next day there were a bunch of students by the POT building marching around and chanting say her name! UK do the right thing! Expel her!
Relax gang, it was one day later, they did expel her and the unfortunate black young lady isn’t dead so I don’t think they’re not trying to “say her name”. College kids doing what they do, I get it, but always have to be over the top and act like what they’re doing is world changing.
Besides that I’ve heard nothing else campus wise.

Big home playoff game tonight vs. a crosstown Catholic School rival. We are the 3 Seed in one of CA's top regional divisions. '05 is pretty annoyed b/c the league officials issued new game balls to each team that are required for use. So 05 and the QBs have spent the entire week trying to get the balls into playable shape. New footballs are the absolute worst - hard as a rock and do not fly at all. So we've been brushing, using hot water, shaving cream, leather conditioner, and some microwaving here and there. We're pulling out all the stops. He couldn't get it past the 15 on Monday on kickoff, and yesterday we were down to the 5. Turns out that NFL and college teams have guys who's primary job is to prepare game balls.
In other news, '07 will be transferring to another local Catholic school in January. I'm a big proponent of public schools, but I can tell you that each child is different, and while big public high school may be working for my oldest, it's definitely not working out for my middle son. This new school is all-boys, has much smaller class size, a focused academic center, and overall a heightened sense of brotherhood and family. We were blown away at the open house presentation last Sunday, and are ready to make the move. It's a lot of sacrifice for the family, especially with logistics, but as a parent, you only get one chance to raise your kids. This is the right decision.

*Last night was a very good night. Ruby's and NB with my son. Nate definitely delivered. Probably my favorite comedian at the time.
-Wagyu meatballs to start then split a 22oz Cowboy ribeye (med rare) with m&c and mashed potato sides. He's not a vegetable person, yet. On point, as always.
*Saw Wodie. I was standing in the drink line when he came barreling through and ran into me. His girl was big eyed and had a WTF look on her face until she saw me laughing at him. Hope those two crazy kids had a good time.
Comedies:
1. Blazing Saddles
2. Office Space
3. Step Brothers
4. Dumb and Dumber
5. HOTW
*Has anyone had the "actually hot" Diablo sandwich? These things are NEVER a bit spicy to me.
*Pretty chill Friday night. Splitting up 1/2 a cow between 5 of us then a couple of cold ones watching UK.
*Friday Five - Country Throwbacks:
Tracy Lawrence - Sticks and Stone
Mark Chestnut - Bubba Shot the Jukebox
Shenandoah - 2 Dozen Roses
Rhett Akins - That Ain't My Truck
Joe Diffie - John Deere Green
*Going to the soft opening of Big Bad Breakfast in the morning. I haven't been to the other location so I'm looking forward to trying it out. Plus, SR is a good dude and I hope he continues to be succesfull.

Most Rewatchable
The Jerk
Blazing Saddles
Jaws
Friday
Tommy Boy
Tyler Childers' new tour comes nowhere near Kentucky. WTF?
Saw Blackberry Smoke twice this summer. If you like their music (southern rock/outlaw country rock), they put on a helluva live show. Wish I had gone to their Cincy show last month instead of enduring the South Carolina home loss in person.
Astros win the WS, been in the last 2, and they give a 1-year token offer to return to their GM. He pretty much told them to get f*cked and walked.
IDGAF who owns Twitter. Just don't ruin how I get my sports on there.
Weird that Bo Nix is actually getting a little Heisman mention. Can't imagine the odds one would have gotten before the season started on him.

When you see the all-time greats bring it in a performance that rivals what they did in their youth, you just have to sit back and watch the masters cook. Bonzo (and others) enjoy...it's gameday!
Uni guess: white-blue-blue.
Stoops likes that one for November day games.

Tropic Thunder is my #1 comedy. Best acting of Tom Cruise's career, IMO.
That'll be the last movie to ever push the limit on stereotype comedy. Great flick.
Dumb and Dumber is better.
Wore a suit I hadn't been able to fit in since 2013 today. Was Harmon married on 8/24/13? I found a receipt for a Lexington cab from that date in the pocket.
A relatively obscure dark comedy that is a favorite of mine is About Schmidt. Cracks me up. Recommended.
-Grapes are unreal right now. I'm just wearing them out.
-BG and back today in the rain. Feel like I ate a handful of melatonin.
-Finished Silicon Valley. Still thinking about it but didn't like how it finished up. Still loved the series. He's an *******, but TJ Miller crushes whatever role he's in.
- Just started White Lotus. Wtf is going on?
-I've predicted this a few times but I honestly think we put it together tomorrow and rag doll Vandy. We're going to play to potential at some point. Might as well be the final 3 games.
-Much as this weather is gonna suck, I'm good for some real football weather. Tomorrow is gonna be cold af.

I thought About Schmidt was great, but I can't rewatch it due to the emotional trauma i recieved from seeing Kathy Bates naked ***.
Not feeling White Lotus this season. Too much focus on Tonya, who is awful. Aubrey Plaza is fantastic though. And I do enjoy the Christopher/Sopranos family storyline. But the manic/paranoid energy of the first season definitely isn't there. Nor is Sydney Sweeney.
No mention of Caddy Shack, Animal House or Christmas vacation in your all's top 5? That's weak.
White, blue, white tomorrow
I'm so tempted to go to Arby's just so I can order a Diablo sandwich and a Dr Pepper
…and make it snappy, we’re in a gat dayum hurry. Could quote SATB all day.
AW’s top 5 80’s comedies
-Weird Science
-Revenge of the Nerds
-Smokey and the Bandit
-Caddyshack
-Summer Vacation
God Bless America, America the Beautiful, all of the fight songs of the 4 branches of military are great tunes.
Anything by Lee Greenwood or Toby Keith is not. In fact I hate them.
Cayts by 19 tonight and 24 bigguns tomorrow
I like it. Just love how the show is filmed, and obviously the setting is amazing. The hooker is smoke but I can’t get past her hair.
And I’ve never been a Jennifer Coolidge fan.
Fair score. Joe B's is all about the experience. The pizza has always just been pretty good.
