Pretty cool watching a guy run at a moderate pace down a street during this NYC marathon. Not sure why this activity isn’t more popular? Just a guy, by himself, in tights, sunglasses doing something everyone else in the world can do. You’d think the ratings would be through the roof…

- That burst down the stretch--with that classy of a field and those early fractions--solidified Flightline to be in the conversation for the best of all-time.

I've been watching horse racing since I was 8 and I've gotten emotional a handful of times, and this was one of them.

Two of them have been at Keeneland (American Pharoah winning the same race).

I love this sport and glad our Commonwealth is the epicenter (No pun and hope that horse is fine) of it all.

- Bob Barker is the GOAT, but I have to say Chuck Woolery is the most underrated. Love Connection and Scrabble were an 80s staple of a good "home sick from school" shows. He's also born in Ashland.

- Random things I wonder about while watching movies #409 - Misery: Did James Caan ****/piss himself in bed and Kathy Bates just clean him up? Dude was not permitted to leave that bedroom, so bed pan?

- A fast food restaurant that I feel we used to crush back in the day, but I haven't been to in decades is Long John Silver's. Do they still have those kick-*** pirate hats?

- Those out-of-the-blue Amber Alert warnings on the phone always scare the **** out of me; especially at 8am on a Sunday.

- Adam Sandler's "At a Medium Pace" is the ultimate "this is a beautiful song.....WHAT???!!!!" song.

It will always remind me of my job in high school at a video store. We had a stereo system that played CDs throughout the store. When I was leaving work, I put this song on and watched my horrified co-workers stand there with customers knowing what was about to be blasted all over the store and nothing they could do about it.

- Rumor has it Flightline is still running around the dirt at Keeneland. Christ. What. A. Horse.

Fantastic post @MattsCats 👏🏼

Flightline is a legend for sure. Was fun watching him.

Long John Silvers is disgusting, we just didn’t know it as kids.

Try living in Florida. You get about 3-5 Silver/Amber alerts a week. I’ve been here for 3 months and that was the first.

It is pretty funny when you minding the pine at the biggest bar in the Keys and EVERYONES phone goes off at the same time and you see them all scrambling for their phone.

All-day 3rd grade soccer playoffs with a hangover for the ages… praying for a loss. Round robin my ***. Worst event to watch just behind girls basketball. Now, raining. 🤮

Apparently a lot of musicians are like I don’t know why he doesn’t do actual songs because he’d kill it and he’s like nah I just want to be silly.

I should probably have kids for sure. Rasslin with my dog and a huge stuffed animal while smoking weed and watching All Quiet on the Western Front seems way worse…

How did Andy get the poster to stick back to the wall after crawling into the hole to begin his escape at the end of Shawshank?
If you were a true Shawshank-ball you would know that he never took the poster down while digging the hole, thus no reason to take it down when he escaped. Easy access behind it.

Having a 5,3, and 1 year old with a one hour time change has been one hell of a f*cking emotional roller coaster I wasn’t expecting. These little ***** are true creatures of habit, good grief. Stop changing the damn time FFS.

went to the Amazon Style store today - pretty neat concept. That company is something else. Also rolled over to Coopers Hawk after. Not sure if you have one of those in your area, but I’m a big fan. Wine snobs look at me like I’m drinking from the toilet bowl when I mention it but I think their wines are pretty good and I like getting a tasting and getting a good wine buzz when dealing with the whole family out shopping.

Ready for weather to cool down a bit. Bring on the holiday beers, bourbon, and fireplace.

This girls life is likely ruined. Hopefully she learns a lesson and gets a 2nd chance but this timeline is brutal. Good thing social media a cell phones weren't a thing when we were young.

Yep poor kid. What lesson is she supposed to learn here? Keep her racism to herself? 2nd chance at what? What about the girls that had to put up with that little twit's tirade and not react in a way that would've been totally justified?

Yeah basically have to leave campus after that one, probably the state. That’s one heck of a blackout though.

What way would’ve been totally justified? They handled it perfectly just as they should’ve. Just kind of laughed at her ridiculous drunken drivel. Are you saying violence would’ve been totally “justified”?

Yes beating her *** would've been justified. That's not "ridiculous drunken drivel". I didn't say they didn't handle it correctly. I said no one in their right mind could blame them if they hadn't.

Ummm I would blame them. Violence isn’t justified for words in my opinion.
And the law doesn’t allow you to beat someone up because you didn’t like the words they used. So it would not be justified by any means. Lord 🤦🏼‍♂️ . If a black girl was drunk and called her a cracker I guess you’d be okay with the white girl kicking her *** and it being justified as well?
