Our sole scoring drive had a couple of nice PA passes including the dime to dingle. Of course we completely forget to execute it after that. What I don't get is why we are the only team that doesn't throw slants or curl routes. Everything is downfield or post and doesn't scheme our guys open (or Levi's feels hurried and just chucks it). Those types of passes prevent 3rd and ten more than a HB dive every drive.
Watching us get assraped by a high tempo offense while Scangarello chews gum and dresses like a hobo makes me want to explode.

Will Levis has been *awful* tonight. Man, what a huge letdown, and this is definitely the best example of huge concern over his NFL status. I mean, the guy has all the tools -- or so it seems -- but he can't run an up-tempo/2-minute offense. Just doesn't have the touch and quick decision making skills. Hugely disappointing.

Well there ya go. In college football, 24 points isn't the end of the world. A group with this much talent can get a couple of quick scores in no time at all, but just dropping back and throwing the ball 40 yards downfield isn't the most efficient/easiest way to pick up a TD. Seems to be the only tool he's got in his toolbag tonight. And it ain't working.

Call me drunk but I just don’t see Levis as a first round pick, much less a top5 pick. Yes, he has all the physical tools or ability or potential/etc. But at some point, shouldn’t it be evident in the actual games as a senior? 2nd round pick… fine. Top5 pick… no.
